On a technical point of view what flaws do you see in Mayweather?
He looked almost flawless against Guerrero, Canelo, but against Chino he looked like a different fight, he looked slow and his offense wasn't the same, was getting caught over the ropes etc.
what do you think? what flaws do you see in him?
He looked the same to me, only difference was Chino's fighting style. Just look at the last round where he ran, his legs are there, people just dont want to believe that Chino was able to stay on top of him and cut off the ring.
I got Maidana by KO this time.
Maidana made FLoyd fight like coward by clinching, If Mayweather has to do something ilegal as excessive clinching through out the fight, while having Pillows/Ring/Ref advantages, And the best he could do is come up with a pathetic decision won by holding while t getting his lights flickered out on the third.
What do you think Broner is going to do?
Who Is Faster Khan Or Devon?
Wow, thats a tough one.
It's Hard to say who has the faster clinch.

Aligeri won, he was pretty active, went to the body and the head. It wasn't as exciting as his other fights, Provo lost it once he stopped going to the body early in the fight as i remembered, it's been a while since i watched it.
Duran Vs SRL I: Great mesh of styles, fought at one of the highest levels of boxing history. The amount of Talent inside that ring was Supreme, who knows when we will witness something like that again, I doubt it.
Some of the posters here like to clown Cotto because he went down to one knee against Margarito.
However in that situation it seemed to me like Miguel's heart wanted to continue but his body couldn't. While in Rubio's case it looked like like his body could continue but his heart wouldn't.
Which one is less becoming of a warrior, really?
It was a great shot he took, and it looked like Rubio was dazed on the ground, lost track of the count as tried to get his head cleared, and Rushed to get up.
Thought the referee could've gave him a shot as he was already off the canvas on his feet if i remembered correctly. Seemed conscious and as if he was good enough to continue. But the ref stopped it.
I for one wanted to see more of GGG, so i was dissapointed with the stoppage.
Vote and discuss
Not to sure, but he's one of the most skilled fighters today. He doesn't run, he actually puts up complete performances with his boxing skills, he uses both his hands and feet, he doesn't run. While others do more running, and less punching.
This is what i call the sweet science, the name of the game is hit and not get hit, it's NOT called hit and run.
Just rewatched that fight, I really think that was an extremely underrated win for Floyd.
People forget that Corrales at the time was undefeated and steam rolling guys at 130,
Floyd made it look easy and absolutely outclassed him. I've never seen such a clinic at that weight.
You got that all from watching Corrales vs Mayweather.
I think even Robert Garcia(the trainer) was doing pretty good against Corrales before he got stopped, and Garcia was a small guy, and hurt Corrales pretty bad in the 2nd round.
From 122--130 Sandy Sadler KO's him!
From 130--135 Ike Williams KO's him!
From 135--140 Roberto Duran KO's him!
From 140--154 and beyond Sugar Ray Robinson brutally KO's him!
Beau Jack
Kid Gavalin
C. Basilio
H. Armstrong
J. Napoles
T. Hearns
R. Leonard
D. Curry.................all KO him!
M. Starling
O. DeLaHoya
P. Whitikar
V. Forrest
Tito Trinidad
C. Cokes
S. Mosley..........all are capable of beating him! There are more but its late!
nite kids play nice, fight dirty if you have to.
Ray.
good post,
Yeah, at some point he'd have to stand and fight and that would be extremely difficult. But man if he could get the jab working early and frustrate Duran and win the early rounds I'm thinking Taylor V Chavez type fight.
I'm drawing a blank right now, duran ever fight anyone who used the style/shell like Floyd?
No way I see Floyd beating Duran. Duran is a complete fighter, power in both hands, great defence while coming forward, he would out work Mayweather, possibly stop him late. I see it going down like Castillo vs FLoyd, but Floyd would also get countered all night on the inside, possible even hit the canvas, or even somethig like Duran/SRL
You can't say Floyd would do this or that, simply because Duran fought in a level of competition miles completely above Floyds, it's laughable to say because he did this to guys like Corrales/Boldamir/Hatton/Mosley he would be succesfull. Might as well say Garry Russel Jr would beat ATG's from the way he was destroying TBA's. Talent is there, but we dont know how good the fighter actually is until he fights another great fighter.
if algeiri forces him to wear pillow gloves and clinches nonstop he should win easy.
If Alegeri slips a hundred dollar bill down Bayles's g-string, he can clinch all night.

Champ turns 34 today! Thank you for all the great fights through out your career!
:birthday:
GGG wishes good boy a happy birthday.
...But thats not all, he even got him an early B-Day present,

A KO of Cotto's Mandatory.
Who ever thinks Floyd's legacy is better is an idiot, RJJ has wins against James "Lights out" Toney, and Hopkins.
Theres no one in FLoyds resume than even comes close to this level of competition.
Also: The only fighter Marquez was able to compete with above 140 was Pacquiao.
What!? I scored Marquez-Bradley a draw. How can you watch that fight and say it was not competitive? Marquez won on one scorecard and lost only by 1 point on another scorecard. I predicted Bradley would win clearly, because of styles, but I was wrong. JMM did very well vs Bradley and he showed against Pacquiao and Bradley that he is a legit fighter at WW. The way he schooled Alvarado at WW, a pretty big powerful guy, also solidified that JMM is no joke at 147.
How can you say Pacquiao is the only guy he's been competitive with when he basically beat Pacquiao twice, close fight with Bradley, and schooled Alvarado? In his 7 fights above 135, he's been beaten decisively only once but you guys hate who that "Once" was against. Say anything to discredit. If it was the other way around and Pac schooled Marquez in 2009 at WW, then Marquez KO'ed Mayweather years later, you'd be singing a different tune.
Hey, you can call Alverado a top tier p4p fighter for the sake of your argument all you want, but it's not true.
Truth is that Marquez only notable opponent was Bradley, and he looked terrible, slow, off balanced.
No one is is deliberately discrediting Floyd, we're calling it like it is.
If beating a fighter who jumped three weight divisions for the first time is such a great win for FLoyd, Why dont Floyd fans want to see a great win for Floyd against GGG? after all, weight does not matter, skills do.
Don't put that disgraceful coward in the same sentence with Triple GGG.
GGG is fighting on HBO, Rigo is fighting on Unimas lol.
GGG is feared, Rigo is not wanted/cared for. That's the difference.

Thats exactly what i was about to say.
need to spread some green first. In due time.
This is boxing, we pay for your fights, since you're not willing to give us a show, fans are not willing to pay.
Put up, or stop crying.
"wah wah wah, they think im boring."
How many years have passed, and this guy still doesn't get it.
This just tells me I'll most likely pass on his next fight, whenever that is.
I do not agree at all. As a fan, I truly only care about my well being and entertainment. I only care about getting entertained at their expense so I want to see fighters like Kirkland be more active and provide me with fun wars. They get paid millions so that's the trade off.
Exactly, Boxers ger their money, we get our entertainment. And if you dont entertain, fine, we'll pay another fighter who will.
All I wish is for both fighters to be ok at the end of the bell, So that they could entertain me in the near future, the sooner the better.
The Truth, Plain and simple.
I cant even defend his actions inside or outside the ring.
This coward doesn't complain as he gets to hit woman with his barefist, in back of the head, yet when he fights a real man they both have to wear pillows since he doesn't want to get hit with damaging blows.
kid has zero integrity. Can't defend this in anyway.
Kind of Pathetic seeing the Majority of these Fan's bend over for another one of FLoyds meaningless rematches, chanting TMT, with their favorite overpriced TBE hat, as they get bent over for 70 dollars, AGAIN.
You rather see Cotto vs Mayweather than Pacquiao vs Mayweather?. I dont even see you defend yourself as a man from his BS, letting the Bigger Man in Mayweather walk all over you, bend you over by entertaining yet another meaningless rematch that will make you $70 poorer. and make him millions richer, rather than going for a Pacquiao mega fight?
I got to give it to Pacquiao fans, they just got on the scene with Pacquiao, but they love to see their fighter fight ANYBODY. They actually want their fighter to fight, even after getting KO by Marquez, they still ask for the fight.
Maybe fans are a mirror image of their favorite fighters, one is known as a humble warrior, the other as a....well just google "boxing's biggest coward".
Brace yourself for another meaningless boxing year.
Thanks for the post.
Finally, a fighter that actually does what boxing is all about. Letting your fist fly.
Keept seeing him on Eli Sechback videos training, he has great handspeed, decpetive at times.
Seems like Roberto Garcia's gym is a good fit for his style, he will be a fun to watch.:boxing:
maybe in the past he had a great one but now his timing is way off, he was falling for maidana faints and throwing it full force lol and missing everything not even clipping maidana at all lol that how his ass almost got knocked out.
I mean if his oppenents hands are down and not looking he has a decent one yeah.
http://giant.gfycat.com/JointLazyChimpanzee.gif
Wow, that right hand Chino hit Mayweather with would've surely knocked him out or atleast down if he wasn't wearing the pillows Mayweather made him wear.
His legs were gone the next round, if he would've landed it earlier, he might've been stopped.
Liek i said, If beating a fighter who jumped three weight divisions for the first time is such a great win for FLoyd, Why wouldn't fans want to see a great win for Floyd against GGG? after all, weight does not matter, skills do.
It's a legitamate fight, moving up the same amount at the same age where they have topped out in weight.
Look at the flip-flopping. Same people praised Marquez as a Legitiamte Matchup for FLoyd, but put him in the same weight climb against GGG, at the same age Marquez was, and it becaomes illegitimate?
You could also take the same claims further, and say that if GGG KO's Floyd, it was not because of the weight, it was because GGG's skill, it wouldn't make a difference.
So let's see it, call for the fight.
I would take what Ortiz says with a Grain of Salt.
He even threw his trainer Danny Garcia under the bus. And he took him in after Robert Garcia kicked him out, felt he was a good kid, and that move started all this bad blood between the two brothers. And Victor just kicked him to the curve.
I dont know what to even say to a move like that.
I will go on Twitter and go bat sh1t crazy on Floytd, but need ya'll help.. i need retweets..favorites and more of ya'll to follow me attacking him to make this happen..i am going to go at Floyd and tell him fvck anyone else we want Manny next year period..we are going to message him and Showtime...stop crying fvcking do something about it..1 stand 1 voice..if you do not follow then shut up...WATCH ME WORK https://twitter.com/larryx2010
Pacquiao boat has passed. Next up GGG.
Like i said, just look at the flip-flopping. Same people praised Marquez as a Legitiamte Matchup for FLoyd, but put him in the same weight climb against GGG, at the same age Marquez was, and it becaomes illegitimate.
Well, also don't forget that Marquez moved up five divisions to fight Floyd overall. Feather to Welter. Floyd has moved up five divisions from super feather to super welter already and would have to move up another to fight GGG. Not really the same.
Plus Floyd is also significantly older, fighting a prime champion. Marquez and Floyd were both in their primes together.
Floyd's natural weight is 147. He couldn't shed two pounds to make weight against Marquez. Thats his natural weight, and you add in his age, and he is not going back down, and has not from that time out till this day he failed to make weight.
When Marquez made the jump to fight Mayweather the same age, 36. He went up in weight to fight Mayweather, but he went back down to lightweight for his next to fights.
I dont understand how you can say Marquez was in his prime at 36, but not Floyd at his current age of 37. Truth is Marquez was past his prime in a weight class that was much heavier.
GGG is 32 now, thats the same age Mayweather was when he fought Marquez who was 36 when he they, i would consider both Marquez and Mayweather past their primes at 36+years of age.
