I think Lomachenko with 5 or 6 more fights could possibly beat this Rigondeaux. He's still learning to fight like a pro, and when he does he's going to be a monster. Experience is the only thing holding him back right now.
I agree. With a little more experience, Loma can beat Rigo.
I found the fight against Russell, Russells win. He out hustled him. Rigo is a much different fighter but skill wise Rigo is more accurate and skilled!
WTF are you on man?
Back to the question at hand.
At 124 Rigo takes it.
This is THE best fight that can be made in boxing now imo, better than Pac-May (every time they mention this fight on HBO, Roy Jones gets giddy lol)... But there's probably no chance Arum will ever let Loma fight Rigo like a previous poster mentioned... We'll see Loma vs Walters way before we see Rigo vs Loma, unfortunately.
This fight is intriguing on so many levels... two, two-time Olympic Gold winners, both are southpaws, both hate losing more than most people hate death, black vs white(both incredible athletes but let's not pretend race wouldn't add an interesting marketing angle), Both are very quick and sneaky, Rigo might edge out Loma in speed but Loma has more power. Rigo is the superior counter-pounter. But have amazing footwork, but Rigo edges him out here as well(the guy simply never, ever, loses balance, it's simply unreal, like water)...
Because boxing isn't a more popular sport, no one even knows about this fight or is making noise for it to be made, and this is a utter shame...
But we, the fans, the real boxing enthusiasts, WANT THIS FIGHT!!!
Due to an older Rigondeaux or a more expierenced Lomachenko?

Rigondeaux. Lomachenko's not ready for that level of skill and talent.
Might be a different story if Lomachenko had another 5-6 fights.

loma has more skills and i think will end up being a better fighter than rigondeaux
only thing would give rigondeaux the chance to win vs lomachenko is with experience, rigondeaux at this point is probabley a little more controlled with his emotions under the big lights, loma although he's improved vastly per fight(the more he gets used to the lights the more he can show what he truely has) i think still hasn't reached his potential
in a fight between the two loma would show to have the better defense also, which would be important not being as big a puncher as rigo, but he has even more advantages like being much longer, much better workrate and his feet never stop, it's crazy
I think loma wins a 7-5 type of fight he's gonna be the bigger man he is just as skilled as rigo in terms of boxing iq but unlike anyone who has faced rigo before vasyl has the amateur background and where he has seen every style out there and proven to be a winner. Nothing rigo does will surprise or shock him like it did donate. Plus lomanchenko has a great offense variety

Vote and discuss
Not to sure, but he's one of the most skilled fighters today. He doesn't run, he actually puts up complete performances with his boxing skills, he uses both his hands and feet, he doesn't run. While others do more running, and less punching.
This is what i call the sweet science, the name of the game is hit and not get hit, it's NOT called hit and run.
Arum never would let loma fight rigo
He already ruined one of his cash cows in donaire
Unreal fight for the hardcore boxing fan though
Not sure yet who wins, would have to go and watch
