On a technical point of view what flaws do you see in Mayweather?
He looked almost flawless against Guerrero, Canelo, but against Chino he looked like a different fight, he looked slow and his offense wasn't the same, was getting caught over the ropes etc.
what do you think? what flaws do you see in him?
The problem I see with Floyd lately has been his offense. His punch output is way too low now, the punches he's throwing aren't punches that are going to hurt anybody (pull counters, jabs to the body, etc) and he's starting to become too predictable. If you notice, Maidana countered Floyd's pull counter at the end of the 3rd round of the rematch with a right hand. That wasn't luck, he saw it coming. Floyd's gonna have to mix it up offensively and start throwing combinations. With his skill, speed and accuracy there's no reason for him to NOT throw 3-4 punch combinations. Other than that, I think he's ok. Defense is still sharp, movement is still there when he needs it. Dat OFFENSE doe...........

As a Floyd fan, I do see some flaws. Occasionally when he jabs, he slightly drops his right hand, leaving him open for a moment.
Also, not often but rarely, Floyd will back straight up against a pursuer. This could potentially be devastating.
The same flaws I've been seeing for 15 years boy:
He hates aggressive, pressure fighters who throw lots of punches and have good hand speed and footwork (don't count Maidana, the first fight was a fluke). Castillo almost did him in, Judah, for about 4 or 5 rounds managed to out speed and at times, out box Floyd, Hatton put serious pressure on him early but tired and then May's game picked up plus the ref was...well
Oscar, almost at the end of the line just barely lost. You see, there's a pattern. It's no coincidence he wouldn't fight a prime Marg or Cotto or Pacquiao.
If you feel the Oscar fight was close than you awarded him rounds for throwing punches and Missing.

He looked the same to me, only difference was Chino's fighting style. Just look at the last round where he ran, his legs are there, people just dont want to believe that Chino was able to stay on top of him and cut off the ring.
His legs are gone is laughable he moves around the ring with such ease - maidana landed punches maybe just maybe bc he is a good fighter and somehow he watched enough tape and picked up on tendecies lol - if u feint when floyd punches u have a good chance of landing the jab see cotto fight and maidana just punches from awkward ranges and positions - canelo and guerrero were made too look like amateur but cotto and maidana did better
Floyd would be at a disadvantage against Andrade. Andrade is a tall, rangy, fast southpaw with a good jab and can box. He's also naturally the bigger man.
His legs are gone. That's why he's getting hit more frequently.Dare i say his reflexes are going as well,i'll be able to tell more if he fights a guy who can throw more than one shot at a time.
Soul cotto too had all the traits and abilities too dethrone floyd but some reason arum wouldnt let him fight floyd - pac has no jab and is really predictable in what he brings too the table plus his chin and defence is suspect - margs was a flat out cheater glad his career over - pac isnt enough of a bully fighter he has the handspeed and awkwardness but he wont push floyd backwards doesnt fight on the inside and with floyd u have too be a little rough and dirty - pac is more of a boxer puncher
Keys too beating floyd aggressive relentless undaunting pressure great jab sturdy chin great stamina
One i think hes had through most of his career is backing up to the ropes too easily.
Obviously hes pretty good at defending once hes there, but against better offensive fighters it has hurt him imo
Oh and receeding hairline/baldness defo detracts from his dish status
Khan nor pac have not one iota of a chance of beating Floyd
The cotto of old with his relentless body attack and aggressiveness is the only fighter besides Valero i see beating Floyd
Outside of Maidana maybe Porter if he was a little more experienced bc both are wild in stay in ur chest
Anybody boxer who stands and the middle.of the ring and tries too outwit floyd stands no chance
Maybe the pac of 09 with the ungodly stamina and power stands a chance but we all know that person died with the allegations

Honestly he has more tells than flaws
When through the lead straight right he drops his hands and pivots or turns on the back foot
After said lead right nothing comesback in return he either ducks too the right or ties up opponent
If u jab when he punches he shells up and goes straight back
Easily trapped on ropes now also bc he is so defensive
As for flaws doesnt punch with a great output - decent power
Khan's speed, range, jab, movement, footwork all can give Floyd massive problems.
khan has the attributes too beat Floyd, he just doesn't have the brain too beat floyd
Too defensive.
Doesn't throw enough punches, add that on top when he does he's not the most powerful punch, definitely in the bottom rank as far as POWER goes.
He shells up too much.
That's possible with HGH and steroid **** tail which I know for a fact that this is what Floyd uses when he trains
You sold them to him? If so its a horrible batch.
I dislike Mayweather as a man, but as a boxer he has very few flaws.
He seems to rely on one shot counters too much imo, he doesn't let his hands go as much as he used to.
I have also noticed the pivot of the back foot, and I am sure many others have too but up till now nobody has really made use of the telegraph all that effectively so I never felt it was much of a big deal. The right that follows it is usually very quick anyway isn't it.
In my opinion Floyd doesn't have that many flaws inside the ring, yeah against Maidana he didn't look too great but truth is he just doesn't do THAT much wrong. I just feel as though he can not execute things as well as he used to be able too, but for a 37 year old defensive fighter that relies on reflex a lot it makes a lot of sense.
alot of guys see it coming, they just aren't fast enough to deal with it
hell, even though maidana trained for it and plenty of times saw it coming he still got tagged
