Keith Thurman definitely isn't a hypejob. He has the best resume at WW of the current champs, and Spence and Crawford are clearly special talents. You're on something, OP.
He has a resume of a decent fighter beating a bunch of other decent fighters ... guess you’re right
His best wins were Danny Garcia and Robert Guerrero? Did you forget about Shawn Porter and Diego Chaves? Yeah, he struggled, but he always won.
If Thurman's overrated, then what does that make all the other champions in the weight division? Spence just beat a blown up lightweight, Crawford struggled against a one-legged Jose Benavidez and Porter arguably lost to Ugas. Before Pac beat him, Thurman was the only active welterweight who had a claim to the #1 spot, after he unified with Danny Garcia.
There’s only two fighters around Welterweight that I feel can be special and that is Spence and Crawford; and I’ve even thought a little different of Spence after watching him against Kell Brooke a couple years ago
We are in a post prime May/Pac age in the welterweight division and everyone is looking for the next man who’s going to be ‘great’ and have that it factor but most of these guys are average
You guys are ****ing clowns on this forum. Calling a champion a hype job. Embarrassing.
I’m talking relative to how some people were viewing him - on the scale of welterweights the past 10 years Thurman would be a C+ - B- ranking
And having a belt means literally zero in boxing in 2019 - there’s like 5-6 belts in the division these days lol
Lmao here we go again.
So who has Spence beat? Who has Crawford beat?
So everyone overrated?
I’m not to big on either one but when i watch their in ring absolute and overall skill those two stand out the most but like I said overall this new generation of welterweights is overall trash
Here we go the excuse train. I knew this was coming anything to discredit Pacquiao.
I’m not discrediting Pacquiao - I just said he’s one of my fav fighters ever - I’m discredit this new generation of welterweights, I’ve been saying for the last couple years they’re all average
This. Prime Zab had elite hand and foot speed, something Errol doesn't have. And I've been on this forum for 13 years now, I can't believe this "Mayweather struggled with Judah" narrative still exists. So if a guy wins 3 early rounds, that means it was a struggle. Lol
I came onto the forum today for the first time in YEARS and I’m reading through this thread laughing that the same old tired narratives still exist about Floyd ‘he ducked blah blah’ and ‘JLC beat him in their first fight’ and ‘he struggled against Judah’..... different generation, same excuses lol
Another "I don't know **** about boxing" thread... Bradley would outwork, outbox Maidana without a doubt... Everyone knows this, lmao @ people from England thinking Maidana is good since he had Khan running for his life for a couple rounds lmao
Its a propaganda that Floyd's and his drug addict family to try to stain PAC name. Its the end it all backfired :lol1:
Floyd's plan whoever accuse first wins :lol1:
Who will suspect Floyd, he the one wants a better testing right? but with all of his talk he basically did a regular testing except with blood
i'm sorry man i can't help but to read this thread and laugh at your responses... English isn't your first language right? no offense lol
Stop stalling, are you goin to dispute what I said or complain about girly shiit.
I actually have no idea of what you're tryna say... that's why i'm laughing idiot
1: 10-9 Alexander
2: 10-9 Alexander
3: 9-10 Bradley
4: 10-9 Alexander: Last second right hands by Bradley almost stole it
5: 10-9 Alexander: Did Bradley just lull in that round?
6: 9-10 Bradley
7: 9-10 Bradley: Another close round...Bradley just edges it
8: 10-9 Alexander: One big right hand by Bradley just not enough. Close fight
the f*ck fight you watching? lmao
smh, anyone that believes Khan would easily beat Bradley is purely dumb... Even Freddie Roach has said Bradley is the hardest fight for Khan, he even said last year that he wasn't sure if Khan was ready to fight someone like Bradley... Bradley didn't look bad tonight, Alexander made it an ugly fight...
come on now. the blood testings were completely random and it just happened to end 16 days in.
that cut off date was not planned by either Mayweather or Mosley.
ding ding ding... correct answer give this man a prize... will you a*sholes stop talking about Mayweather-Pacquiao if it happens it happens... The front page is always polluted with threads about the same sh*t every day all day "Mayweather blah blah blah he's scared" or "Pacquiao blah blah blah he's cherry picking"... stfu already
And also the biggest question in boxing isn't "is Manny Pacquiao on steroids" or "Is Floyd Mayweather scared to Pacquiao... The biggest mystery in boxing, the biggest question is, "HOW THE F*CK IS DONAIRE RANKED #5 ON THE P4P LIST"... please someone explain lmao
Martinez is so desperate for Pacquiao its embarrasing. Pacquiao literally can't make 150 let alone 153.
If Pac fights Martinez at a catchweight whos next? Klitchko?
Pac only fights at 147 now. Either make that weight or find someone else but fighting Pac means making more $$$ in one night than Martinez has made in his entire life.
You are a fkn idiot if you think Manny can't make 150-153 lbs... GTFOH, if you wanna say Matinez is to big that's one thing, but don't come in here making up bull****... all these replies and discussion is truly actually pointless, this is one fight that will never happen
Aside from your obvious Donaire hate, explaining it to you wouldn't solve anything.
Regardless...... I will.
p4p isn't only on who you've beaten. It's your upside, your skills and everything rounded out.
Donaire has incredible speed and decent power and is almost always in good shape. Decent fundamentals and can counter punch well. He also can flurry and throw a decent combination.
Also, aside form the big win over Darchinyan, he is lacking in big wins. However, that could change with beating Montiel then the winner of the Bantamweight tournament. So, his upside is clearly there. Especially considering that he could be favored to win both.
p4p isn't just wins and losses. I'll await your continued hate and am anxious to see how you say none of this matters/is true and that Donaire is and will always be a bum.....
your reply is full of bullsh*t... P4P is based on who have you beaten/wins and losses plain and simple... you're pretty much tryna say it's based off "potential"... GTFOH with that bull****... For donaire to be ranked over Bradley and Wlad is a fkn travesty.. hell he was ranked over Martinez until a couple months ago... I never said he was a bum I said I don't see what's the hype about him he hasn't done much at all to be ranked #5 p4p... idiots these days i swear
I can't even take this question seriously... Bradley-Alexander hands down, two proven champions ranked 1 and 2 in the most loaded division in boxing... Donaire I've never seen the hype around this guy EVER... been living off beating Darcynian for what like 3 years now
f*ck this fight... f*ck this fight... and f*ck this fight... Pac should be fighting the Berto, Marquez, or the Bradley/Alexander winner... Berto and Bradley have the best chance against Manny other then Floyd and anyone that thinks different knows fkn nothing about boxing
"I have to constantly be aware of this, the flak from the naysayers. We've faced with (Antonio) Margarito for Nov. 13 and we got real, instant flak. But now even the naysayers are looking at that just as a fight. Now the pendulum is swinging the other way and they're saying maybe Antonio is too strong or too big for Manny."
Promoters deserve the blame...Sure but the fighters deserve the bigger share of the blame. If they don't sign the fight doesn't happen simple.
yea I agree to that as well homie...
Ive always maintained that Wlad would beat Ali. you need to possess some kind of power to have a chance, and Ali doesnt have enough to earn Wlads respect.
Joe Louis would stand a much better chance, and Id pick him to KO both brothers.
