I applaud Manny and he’s one of the all time greats a true transcendent talent ... buts let’s not act like Thurman hasn’t struggled in numerous fights against mediocre competitors and his best wins are against Danny Garcia and Robert Guerrero - dude was a absolutely overrated I’ve said and thought this for years - just look at his Boxrec resume, 90% “who’s that?” opponents
No its not a fact that he's a hype job, it is a fact that you clearly dont know what your talking about. After losing one fight against a legend he is all of a sudden a bum and a hype job? Moronic.
Pacquiao fought Thurman at the right time period
Yes, when he was 40.
Maybe Pac should have waited till he was 45yrs old, just to give Keef a chance?
Boom! :lol1:

We all saw him beat Porter and Garcia. Were they overrated hype jobs too? If someone overrated him having all the facts and seeing him fight so often then it's their own fault. He was the champ and Pac beat him.

“Just look at Boxrec”
I think that says it all.
Aside from Pacquiao, what active Welterweight has better wins at 147 than Keith Thurman?
Guerrero, Porter and Garcia were all solid wins. Calling him overrated is somewhat justifiable but suggesting he’s a hype job is absurd.
Keith Thurman definitely isn't a hypejob. He has the best resume at WW of the current champs, and Spence and Crawford are clearly special talents. You're on something, OP.
He has a resume of a decent fighter beating a bunch of other decent fighters ... guess you’re right

I’m not to big on either one but when i watch their in ring absolute and overall skill those two stand out the most but like I said overall this new generation of welterweights is overall trash
You just called the most proven WW a hype job and hype up two dudes up that havent done jack ****.
You a clown for that
Lmao here we go again.
So who has Spence beat? Who has Crawford beat?
So everyone overrated?

Here we go the excuse train. I knew this was coming anything to discredit Pacquiao.
I’m not discrediting Pacquiao - I just said he’s one of my fav fighters ever - I’m discredit this new generation of welterweights, I’ve been saying for the last couple years they’re all average
Sorry bud but "Hypejobs" dont get Wins over porter and danny garcia. You're slamming keiths resume? You better go take a look at spence and crawfords resume because keiths resume is MILES ahead of both of theirs.
Hate to burst your bubble but Thurman has better WINS and has been in with much better competition compared to spence and crawford. If anyone is a hypejob its crawford. BTW hes getting ready to fight egis kavaliauskas next LMAOOOO
Red -
Cross tha street!!

There’s only two fighters around Welterweight that I feel can be special and that is Spence and Crawford; and I’ve even thought a little different of Spence after watching him against Kell Brooke a couple years ago
To be honest, I'm not impressed with this current generation of welterweights, especially after what happened last night. The most proven welterweight of this generation just lost to a 40 year old senator. To be honest, I'm not even mad at that, because if it were up to Thurman, he'd marinate the Spence and Crawford bouts for as long as possible. Pac winning was good for the sport. Hopefully, Thurman will regain the hunger he had before he became a world champion.
We are in a post prime May/Pac age in the welterweight division and everyone is looking for the next man who’s going to be ‘great’ and have that it factor but most of these guys are average
I think Crawford has the most skill and highest boxing IQ of all the current prime top level welterweights, but nobody wants to fight the guy. Even Spence was on camera, admitting to not wanting to fight him. It's like everybody wants to make Mayweather money, without putting in the effort that he had to coming up. Money May wouldn't have existed without "Pretty Boy" Floyd.
