Now obviously David Haye won't go down as an ATG fighter. But how will his legacy be if he won't beat a klitschko? How does his resume look at this point in time?
Will he even be up for a HOF nomination? If so, why?
I feel David Hayes hype and the attention he gets nowhere near matches his resume. Hes a sometimes fun to watch fighter with a big mouth. Thats it.
I mean, what are his best wins? Jean Marc Mormeck?
oh... and try to keep the *****ko vs Gayvid feud to a minimum in this thread.
His accomplishments at cruiserweight rank him as one of the best ever there (probably top 5), although it's a thin field and a few others could maybe have equaled it if they'd hung around. Unfortunate that potentially the strongest era in the history of the division got broken up before it had a chance to solidify (as always) - we could have had Adamek, Haye, Mormeck, Cunningham as a Big 4.
There all in there
who cares if they are "non participant" Haye deserves to be in there more.
lol how so? thats apples and oranges, and prove to me that they're in there, links?
Joey Barnum isn't in the IBHOF.
Carneras KO of Tommy Loughran trumps Hayes career, let alone KO wins over Jack Sharkie and Ernie Schaaf and a decision over Paulino Uzcudun.
Ted Carroll was an non-participant.
Nate Druxman also a non-participant.
In fact I'm not sure any of these are in the IBHOF and the only fighter is greater than Haye anyway.
If by Ty Cobb you mean Tex Cobb he isn't in it.

Joey Barnum, Primo Carnera, Ted Carroll, Nate Druxman, Ty Cobb
I could list dozens more, all of whom you will never have heard of.
do some research before calling bull****, you biased twit

Yes he would get in the hall of fame.
Unified C/W champion and WBA heavyweight champion.
there are fighters with a LOT less to crow about in there.
if the IBHOF was legit Haye would have no chance, but its a sham

Even if he beats one of the Klitschkos he probably wouldn't be HOF material.
well, say that he beats both and then run the division for a couple of years and maybe it COULD be at least disputed and argued
