This. Prime Zab had elite hand and foot speed, something Errol doesn't have. And I've been on this forum for 13 years now, I can't believe this "Mayweather struggled with Judah" narrative still exists. So if a guy wins 3 early rounds, that means it was a struggle. Maidana was also seen as crude and limited And when Floyd decided to box he was, the second fight shows what Floyd could have done in the first fight, Floyd has said a few times he will stand toe to toe with an opponent and he did in those fights when he didnt have to, Floyd is not some soft touch hiding behind ability he is as tough as they come when he needed to be. The other thing with Floyd is his opponent rise and come in their careers best shape, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain and because Floyd is not a heavy handed damaging guy they grow more balls than they ever had. Spence is a big strong pressure fighter. Floyd had problems with Maidana and Maidana is ex jr. welterweight who is smaller than Floyd. Imagine what would Spence do to Floyd. Floyd is more skilled, but I don`t believe he could take away Spence`s punches. Maidana is a severely underrated fighter. Floyd whips Spence, does him like he did Hatton, or Mosley - Floyd stops him in the mid rounds or schools him to an easy decision. There are levels to this game and Spence Jr isn't even the best welter in his own era. He would be humbled the way Berto was.

His footwork is bad, he smothers his offense, and he's bad at utilizing angles. Guys a gatekeeper. Always thought he was one of those fighters who gets too much credit for ineffective aggression. Judah had very fast hands and foot speed. And he was a rough rider on the inside in his prime. Spence isn’t that fast and his feet are always planted. Floyd would pot-shot him to death. People tend to overlook handspeed in boxing when it’s a primary component of the sport. When a guy can beat you to the punch - he has a 50% chance of beating you. That’s why Amir Khan would’ve been great but he just had a glass chin. Judah was a terrible style for Mayweather since one of the major part of his (Floyd) style, especially his backfoot game was his handspeed. This.
