Mayweather. Rocky didn’t do as much in his career and I think Floyd has a better resume overall. We’re talking Floyd’s 26 title fights/defenses in 5 divisions over Rocky’s 7 title fights/defenses in 1 division. That’s says a lot.
The only guy human in history to probably also get up from that punch is Fury.
Or Ali, but then again that punch wasn’t even able to put Ali down if you think about it.
It would be the cooney fight all over again.A late round stoppage of a one armed power puncher.
Idk. At least Cooney had a consistent punch output and could win some rounds. Wilder just keeps that right ****ed and loaded waiting for that one big shot.
Wilder Fury 1 for sure. Wilder only won like 2 rounds and those where the rounds where he knocked fury down. At least Canelo vs GGG 1 was a close competitive fight with many swings in momentum. You can easily make a case for the first Canelo vs GGG fight being a draw, it’s just how the judges got to that draw that was fishy. 118 - 110 for Canelo is almost as bad as having a scorecard where wilder won in the first wilder vs fury fight.
It probably can’t be found due to showtime, or CBS, or who ever owns that fight is probably just taking town for their own personal gain. You can still find the fight online if you search hard enough.
Oh good he’s actually fighting someone who’s actually worth fighting. For a second I thought he was really going to fight that Quigly guy no one has ever heard of
Maybe the level of competition he faced wasn’t the strongest, but that was just the area he happened to come up in. The heavyweight division at the time of his prime was not the strongest. Tyson mopped the floor with the rest of the division. He beat most of the former champions from the early 80 with relative ease. While the names on Tyson’s resume are not the strongest, a lot of his opponents still had great credentials.
Saunders is a bum. Who has he beaten? Lemuix? He barely beat Jr.
Saunders talks a big game but his fights don’t back up his claims. Also his manager is a scumbag criminal who’s hiding in Dubai.
Sure. If people can call Joe Calzaghe a two division champ when he only won the ring belt at light heavy and Pac-Man is an 8 division champ cuz he won the ring belt at 140, I don’t see why the ring belt isn’t an important title
I think it’ll be Spence by either decision or ko. Williams is a tall lanky guy with long reach but he doesn’t fight like that. He loved volume punching and inside fighting. Also his defense was never the best.
This question is inspired by "How good are bad nba players"? With "bad" boxers I mean boxers who are not good enough to win a world title but are ranked top 30 in their respective division.
Which makes them among the best fighters in what ever division they fight in. How good are they actually?
They’re still good enough to kick my ass.
Berterbiev knock GGG out. Golovkin has never fought at light heavy so we don’t know how much that size increase effects him. Also Golovkin is on the downside of his career now. I don’t think he can handle the power of a Beterbiev .
