Yes, now when Fury beat him, Wilder is overrated. Two years ago Wilder fans kept saying Ortiz was better than Klitschko.
When Fury beats Joshua, Joshua will be overrated also.
Wilder WAS overrated, but I don't think Fury is. I appreciate him. In fact I had picked him to win in both fights (as I said, I threw in the draw at the last minute, but my pick was Fury in the first fight).
I also picked Fury vs Klitschko in 2015.
And probably the most overrated.
I can't even conceive what would happen around here if Wilder should find a punch to knock Fury out in the rubber match.
Mind you, I won money on both fights. Picked the draw in the first (though by a last-minute lucky strike) and Fury by KO in the second.

Yes, and Fury beat Wilder. Wilder was unbeaten monster puncher before facing Fury. The most feared man in the world.

To be fair talking of Marciano facing today's Fury it's brought to today's time which is Fury's advantage, which of course Fury would destroy him..
However take Fury to Marciano time and Fury would probably struggle to get released from the circus to actually fight Marciano...
You think Marciano is the gold standard for heavyweights, over names like Muhammad Ali and Joe Louis? are you illiterate like your idol as well? read the thread title you dope. anyways I think it has to be rocky marciano!
Fury anhialates little marciano with ease
Marciano brings Fury down to his level when he chops down the tree by going to the body early and often. Rock gets low and puts his head in Furys chest and turns his insides to jello when he shoe shines that torso with mustard on those hands of stone. Fury quits on his stool after 13 hard rounds in a barn burner.

Within the context of the thread, undefeated HWs.
Which is why I went with Marciano. I feel it's the responsible choice. Hes the gold standard, and not just for HWs.
I do believe Fury will be the GOAT when he retires and eclipse Marciano, but we don't know with absolute certainty what the future holds.

Who else was he supposed to fight? Louis, Charles, and Walcott were the three undisputed champions who immediately preceded Marciano and Moore was the reigning undisputed light heavyweight champion. Savold was the recognized champ in Europe. He completely cleaned out the list of credible opponents in his era.
I'm just pointing out that they were old just like Louis was. I'm not blaming Marciano for that. But it is what it is. They were old. Archie Moore was in his 40's.

He's got a good chance should he come out unscathed...
Charles, Walcott, and Moore were all old.

Marciano..
Tyson's still active so who knows what the future holds..
