Dumbest post I've ever read. Larry Holmes had the type of pride that would have NEVER under any circumstances EVER let him quit vs anyone. Look you hero's win vs Wilder was huge. You don't have to make Wilder into something he isn't in an effort to make that win sound bigger than it was. Holmes make Wilder look foolish for 10 rounds and then finished him. Holmes very easily.The contrast in skills isn't even remotely close. I suppose Wilder could get lucky and land a big one like Shavers and Snipes did.However,Larry recovered from those and went on to dominate both fights. Wilder makes Holmes quit.

2nd post of the thread sums it up well and is correct about Washington too. Washington won the rounds he jabbed, stopped jabbing...ka-boom! I legit think Wilders intimidation and KO % had many opponents beat before the bell rang, similar to Iron Mike Tyson. Will be interesting to see how an opponent's body language and confidence is in Wilders next fight that isn't Fury, since after being beat up, he doesn't have the aura of invincibility anymore.

I try and stay away from the OP on here I’m sure it was some attempt to build Fury up by bigging up Wilder but these threads really are just laughable with these guys. I could see Fury getting by Ali but saying Wilder gets by Holmes now when the man doesn’t even know how to react to a jab really shows who the head cases on here is who voted Wilder . It's just a fair question between two ATGs from different eras. No agendas here.
