You can watch mayweather vs pacquiao and May vs McGregor in its entirety in good quality and most of mayweathers fights on youtube but may vs maidana 1 can’t be found at all.
Dazn recently put the fight on their YouTube Channel and people was going crazy in the comments saying how they never could find the fight. Then Dazn took the fight down within 24 hours.
Could it be that the fight was the last fight that floyd had with golden boy and they are having some type of dispute? Or is it that a lot of people thought floyd lost and team mayweather wants to bury it which I doubt because they would have tried to erase may vs Castillo 1 from off the internet then.
I had floyd edging it out but would not be shocked at all if they gave the fight to maidana.
But it just seems odd on how elusive that fight remains to be for years.
I am literally clicking on it as I write this and it says this video is owned by cbs.
So why when everyone else clicks it does it work with no problems?
I just clicked it and it worked so either you’re lying or there’s an issue with your computer or phone.
I don't think there is any argument staying past your best days impacts your legacy to most fans. I think there is also lil argument if you get out early your legacy tends to get a boost to most fans. I'm making an observation more than anything else. Fighters obviously can & do make their own decisions knowing all of this. And there have been, are & will continue to be exceptions to the rule. I'm not armchair quarterbacking anything.
That said I get it. It's ultimately a job to fighters & few fighters can make as much money boxing as other things outside the ring especially in their mid to late 30s when they've spent the last two decades focusing on a sport. I just like seeing more guys get out early rather than too late cuz of how unforgivable the sport is in many ways. This isn't like many other professions. You aren't losing as much of yourself staying too long in most professions.
I get that, I just think it's unfair of a fan, and you have to put yourself in the fightters shoes. And just like you probably wouldn't be super happy to hear some guy you don't even work with suggesting you should retire or make a career change, I'm sure pro fighters only get more motivated when they hear people who aren't in their corner telling them to hang it up.
Like, who are we to say when someone else is done? I just think that's out of line.
Personally, I found B-Hops run inspiring and exciting. I wasn't begging him to stop, I wanted to see how far he could go.
I think it’s because Maidana was sniffing the glue in the corner. That was leaked. I think Floyd doesn’t want pugilists to know that happened. Ariza supplied it. Floyd also hired Ariza against PAC. Lots of suspect activity but that’s boxing.
I’ve said many times Floyd carried Maidana, and GBP knew this but they didn’t care. They wanted their profit and notoriety.. two easy PPV’s for Floyd while milking the Showtime contract. Floyd’s team probably approved the glue too before hand. Maidana’s stamina is drowned in late fights. Anybody a fan of chino knows his fights in late rounds. Floyd MAKES YOU WORK. In order for Floyd to milk two fights he allowed Maidana to sniff... this is all obvious to milk profits off fans and that contract
What is this glue sniffing? You mean like literally or is that a figure of speech?
Noooooooooo *in Darth Vader voice*
I love how Marcos left the game. I'm glad coronavirus fooked up his planned comeback & I hope things continue towards that end. This is a unforgiving sport & he left at his best & it's unlikely he does anything except diminish his rep in a comeback.
Exactly this
Maidana ran off into the sunset with a fist full of cash
Not many get to do that

We are definitely very different fans in that you think if you don't retire "on top" that your legacy takes a hit, and I encourage fighters to fight til their heart is content.
A loss to me today doesn't take away what a fighter did yesterday. I'll never understand that kind of nonsensical logic. What I do today has nothing to do what what I've done before. My actions today don't rewrite what I have already done. And I certainly am not a literal different person than I was last year, nor 10 years ago.
Personally I hope he comes back as planned and my money is on him against most people.
I give people the benefit of the doubt and think its crazy that armchair critics assume a pro athlete can't just come back to the same sport and pick up where they left off.

No way bro...he’s lucky if you give him 2 rds!
IronDanHamza:
Hence, Maidana did not win 5 of the first 6 rounds.
Sugar Ray:
I scored it that way (and if I want be be charitable 4-2 rds in Maidana’s favor)
IronDanHamza:
I mean, you could score 5 of the first 6 rounds for Maidana, sure. If you give him every single close round.
Sugar Ray:
Precisely!
IronDanHamza:
The exact same way you could score the first 6 rounds 4-2 to Floyd on the same token. Hence, your point being moot.
Sugar Ray:
You can’t score 4-2 rds in Floyd’s favor from rds 1-6, no way in Hell. If you still going to insist In that, then you’re lying to everyone & worse you’re lying to yourself! And you’ll lose credibility.
IronDanHamza:
Except the majority of the boxing world don’t acknowledge that Maidana won the first half of the fight, or the fight in general.
Sugar Ray:
Yes they do, even the most diehard Floyd nut huggers acknowledge that maidana won the first half of the fight, it’s not even debatable.
IronDanHamza:
In fact, less than 10% of the Boxing media felt that Maidana won the fight.
Sugar Ray:
What freakin%? Where you get that 10% from?
Let’s do a survey here at boxingscene.
IronDanHamza:
So, there’s that.

Iron I’m not trolling you bro,
I respect your posts here... but I disagree with you big time on this.

If you post Link to it they will claim Copyright since it is CBS/Showtime Content and take it down as they should!
So I'm sure CBS Sports thanks you guys for making their jobs Easier by finding links they can claim copyright against :nonono: :lol1: :dunno:
I don't even know why this fight is still being discussed, Mayweather won that fight but great effort from Maidana, he was landing that Overhand Right at times just like he was landing on Broner so respects to Maidana. Hopefully Maidana makes a return!
It was on Showtime ON Demand for awhile this year. Looks like it was taken down recently.
I don’t have any paid subscription being that there is no boxing going on. Plus YouTube usually has all of mayweathers fights except for that one.
Yes that live video recorded from the crowd has always been there that’s how I only been able to watch the fight. I’m talking about official recorded footage with commentators that dazn had in its YouTube page but was mysteriously taken down within 24 hours.
Do you not see the link that was posted on the first page of this thread with the full fight with Showtime commentary etc?
Bro theres no need to proxy when torrenting I been doing it like 15 years haha
I been doing P2P about that long ago myself back using slow-as-foq e-mule. Switched to torrenting about 12 years ago. Only started using a VPN about 3 years ago. Had a few quid at the time and figured rather safe than sorry + get the benefits of localisation and privacy.
Ain't strictly necessary and the odds of getting caught and punished are minimal but I got more risk averse in my old age. Also it's worth being aware that you ain't just gotta protect yourself against current law and policy but also the future. Same reason it's probably wise to guard your words a little on social media - you don't know what's gonna bite you on the ass 2 or 5 or 10 years down the line. Never know what kinda regime's gonna come into power way things are going but smart money says the less ammunition you give em the better. Figure for less than the price of a pint a month... well y'know.:lol1:
