He couldn’t finish the fight the way he started it. That’s all. Nobody likes seeing anyone fight the last two rds the way he did after seeing how rds 1-10 were.
you're stupid. you have no idea if it was his fans or ggg fans who were booing him. you dolt. you aren't psychic.
Lol exactly. From what I heard, GGG fans was deep in there. I've seen them show up in force too at MSG myself so I know he has a lot of fans at his fights.
Again, when it suit you guys he has no fans, Mr 97k, and now he has more pulling power than the number 1 PPV star in the world canelo, you can't have it both ways, the proof is in the fight when canelo is landing or just missing, the crowd is going Beserk, I suppose that was gggs fans aswell, after the fight, the decision had already been announced where they bood, the camera turned to ggg and the crowd erupted with cheers while max spoke to him, after that the camera turned to canelo and the crowd started booing, definitely booing canelo
You guys nothing! First of all! I'm not a GGG hater and damn sure ain't a Canelo fan. All I'm saying is GGG had fans in the building and I've seen him have nice turn outs in msg from the Kazakhstans.
Funny how they cheered him so so loud while the fight was on and then bood him so so loud afterwards, it's very obvious it was canelos fans booing, you'd have to be very stupid not to realise that
Both guys had fans in the building. So when Canelo had his moments, his fans cheered. Then when they interviewed him, GGG fans booed. Unless you saw Mexicans booing him, I don't wanna hear it.
I saw the fight here in my home country (Panama) with some friends and we all thought canelo won, also a lot of pol who watched the fight thought the same (friends that are casuals mostly thought GGG won - but ppl who watch boxing regularly mostly told me canelo won) but then I go in the U.S. sites and social media and everybody is claiming GGG got robbed. One thing that ocurred to me is maybe they are being victims of watching the fight under a biased narrative by Jim Lampley, which is usual, was this case last night??
I was thinking the same thing because I had on HBO but we didn't have the volume on. We all thought Canelo won.
I knew he would rest until 2018 but I was hoping the rematch would happen before May tbh. That's about 7+months from now. And if you're saying that they might not fight unitll September, well that's just crazy! Smh 1-2 at most is what elite guys do these days. That's whack.
Interesting topic in my opinion
Margarito had bricks in his hands (supposedly anyway.)
What do you guys think?
Tony getting caught in his next fight with bricks in his wraps and then getting ktfo by Mosley eliminated that thought if it existed in any reasonable Boxing fans minds
Sergey was tired quicker than the first fight, he was actually hurt bad in rd 8 but Ward finished him off with a low blow. Idk why ppl having such a hard time. He was landing on the Hublot sign under the belt. Ref shouldn't have stopped it. Shouldn't have even called it a knock down either.
1. The stoppage was dreadful and those shots were definitely low.
2. Ward had taken over that round and Kov was going to lose.
If it wasn't by stoppage, he was going to win on points. The fight was about even in rounds at that point and Kov was not only hurt but clearly fading again. Ward had looked much better in the preceding two rounds
BUT
That stoppage was brutal even if those punches were legal. Which they weren't they were all low, some of them very low.
You can't write Kovalev off just because he was hurt or tried imo. I think of anything Joshua, he was hurt and looking like he had little to nothing left in his fight vs Wlad. And he came back. Kovalev atleast deserved that same opportunity. Besides, he was hit low! The knock down shouldnt have been scored but even if u do score it a kd, let the man continue. Don't just stop it. Brutal stoppage like u said.
Ward looked great and made the proper adjustments and was well on his way to ending the fight legitimately, but there Is no denying that the fight ended with an Illegal shot. It Is pathetic really watching them attempt to deny It and call It a borderline shot.
I think Kovalev could have been finished there too but who knows??? He could have survived and who knows what happens??? Weeks dropped the ball man. Smfh
Dude, stop with the BS. He gave respect to Ward which Is something that the majority of us didn't think we would ever see and their were no excuses because the final punch to end the fight was low and Instead of giving him the standard 5 minute rest period, the fight was waved off.
These guys wanted a Ward win so bad that they don't care how it happened.... They're just glad that he won. It's kinda sad but funny at the same time. It's amusing to me to see them play dumb when it comes to the low blows and stoppage.

i don't have to post any more.
on the strength of this single lowblow determined the outcome of the fight.
That's it right there! The shot that basically ended the fight. It was low. The others were "borderline" so it basically can go either way right?? Legal or illegal. So it's not outrageous to think it was illegal like people are pretending it is. The fight shouldnt have been stopped there either. Put Kovalev on the spot and make him bow out or let Ward finish him off.
Paulie was sh1tting on Conor saying he could out box him with one hand. So what does Conor do?? Invites him to spar and put the beats on him. Lol Paulie is a little hoe now that he's with Haymon and Showtime so f*ck him.
He doesn't say that at all then. Just says it wasn't set up or photoshopped.
Damn I'm getting bored of this now. Can't wait for him to f*ck off back to UFC. It's like Broner, Khan, Haye, all the annoying twots all rolled into one, with the ego of Mayweather and the mouth of Hatton.
Atleast all of Conor's fights are all exciting. Even the one he lost to Nate Diaz.
Crawford ain't fighting any of the top fighters at 140, 147 that Bob doesn't control. He will only do Crawford fights outside of his stable of its a sure win imo. :hitit:
