PAULIE MALIGNAGGI has once again denied suggestions of Conor McGregor knocking him down in sparring. Former WBA welterweight champion Malignaggi has been dismissing the notion of him being felled by the UFC lightweight champion in sparring ever since a photograph of him on the canvas started doing the rounds on Twitter. The picture showed Malignaggi on the floor with McGregor, who fights Floyd 'Money' Mayweather in less than two weeks time, looking back at him menacingly. Click Here To Read More]
I think he will be the second happier guy that night, with all that money on the bank...
Money makes you less happy when you have to count it in the hospital.
To those who don't get it.
Paulie's feet was caught square and thus went down.
Paulie was caught on a bad position, and thus went down. There was no tangle. He just fuvked up his stance from being overwhelmed by Conor's attack. Thus, falling from an awkward position. Is it a legit KD? Off course yes. It's Paulie's fault his stance was bad. He fell, and that's it. 8-10 round.
Was it a flush Kd. No? But it is a KD if it was a real fight. He fell down from being caught square. That to me is a man who got confused on what to do, and that's what happens when you get lost from an onslaught.
Think of the Bradley barrel roll. Pac was attacking him from weird angles, and a small left hook was enough to barrel roll bradley since he was already caught in a square position. Bradley was caught square, which is a no no in boxing. That's why they fell.
That's a legit KD. If you touch the canvas because of your own blunder of being caught squareded up. That's a KD. It's not flashy but that's enough to be a 10-8 round. In other words Paulie looked like shyit. Nothing to blame but himself.
They edited like a motherfker, but any halfwit who knows sh*t about boxing saw a push down they even cut cortez saying no knock down. They don't know what else to do to try to sell this bullsh*t.
Which L? you can say who won or lost a match by watching 15 seconds edited video? wow! this comment sounds so F casual to me.
He looked good vs van herdeen too in the edited video, isnt it? what did happen when we saw the unedited video, dude? oh! I remember, van herdeen toyed connor all day long.
You know? 27th august will be a very funny day. Well, not for connor, that will probably be in the hospital, but hey! not everybody can be happy in this world, isnt it?

Like I said earlier.... Pauli will not stop whining. That's what has boxing fans against him.
But really, think about it... I know there have been stacks of legendary sparring wars in the gyms over the years... some filmed, some not filmed. Some stories legit, some stories myths that kept growing thru the years. But to my recollection, I don't recall a sparring partner being this much of a loud mouthed whiner after the session. If someone can enlighten me to a bigger whiner than Pauli is being right now... please do so.
Did you notice Cortez waving no knock down as the video cut
So now Cortez is a great, legendary ref? Please, I'm having trouble breathing. You're killing me here, friend. LOL!! LOL!! LOL!!
I'm honestly amazed at the amount of boxing fans coming out Against Paulie. Regardless of how annoying he is, McG is just as annoying as Paulie imho.
Regardless, I'm not going into the specifics of the Push/Knockdown, but it was against a guy who he threw in there for 12 rounds straight, not worried about changing out Sparring Partners to increase intensity, the sole purpose was to "fight" Paulie over the comments he made last December and so forth.
Again, this was against a guy who no one in the boxing world ever considered elite, he was only good Cotto, and a little Post Cotto, and that was a ****ing decade ago. He's lost 4 or 5 of his list 8 fights, multiple by TKO/KO, and we're going crazy over a Flash Knockdown AT BEST smfh.......this **** is so sad to me
This isn't about levels of talent IMO, its about how Pauli will not stop whining. That's what has boxing fans against him.
This more and more resembles a lover's spat between Malignaggi and McGregor. Could possible be humorous if it weren't so pathetic.
Money better bust this fool up and end this farce for good.
After seeing everything that's come out about this sparring i'm really starting to think it was a set-up and Paulie and Floyd planned this. Written all over it.

The funny thing is MMA fans don't know this. They see Paulie as a former 2 time champ and think Conor worked him. I haven't looked forward to a beating this much in my life. If and when Floyd embarrasses Conor im gonna laugh so hard. And I'll be at a party with 15 people rooting for Conor while I'm the only.bozing fan.
You did a bad job Paulie disguising not getting your a s s kickd. Maybe you should back up your words for once instead of running your mouth like a lil b I t ch
Still can't see Conor land a single punch in that video. The only contact he has with Paulie's head is the back of it, as he's pushing down.
Let's sit on the fence for a while and assume there is a bit of truth in what both men are saying. Conor saying he got the better (and releases 25 seconds of 12 rounds to try and prove it, which doesn't mean ****) and Paulie saying he got the better. There's probably a bit of truth to both, which means the sparring was probably a bit back and forth and probably fairly even, with both having their moments.
So, Conor 'having his moments' in a back and forth sparring session against a retired Paulie, isn't all that impressive.
This isn't the Paulie that went 12 with Cotto. Hell, it's not even the Paulie that lost to Eggington! What we have is a fat, out of shape retired Paulie with one single week training under his belt (while he was away) giving McGregor a back and forth work over in 12 rounds of sparring.
And the absolute cherry-picked best highlights they can give us is a sketchy slip/ flash KD/ push, and one straight left hand, both of which have very little effect on Paulie?
And you Conor fans are actually impressed by this?
Why?
pauLie maLignaggi take this L and stop crying you got worked by an MMA fighter, doesn't matter if you were out of shape and blah blah, you said you could beat him with one hand...why all these excuses? rat
Conner beat that ass lmaoooo. Who cares about the kd. Pauly was getting punched silly.
Based on a tiny video that proves nothing other than Connor managed to land 2 or 3 punches against a fat, out of shape has-been who was never all that good in the first place. His inside work was absolutely terrible.
I hope they release the full videos after the fight, I can't blame them for not releasing much now or nobody would want to pay the money to watch him get destroyed by Floyd. Connor is getting knocked out, and short of that he's going to take a severe beating.
