Only in the TS mind. I don't even consider that fight relevant since the plaster revelation. To me every "W" of Margarito leading up to the Mosley fight is in question.

Calling Cotto a coward is total BS , what is wrong with you children. Exactly. He took on Prime Manny, Prime Floyd, Prime Margo and a good version of Shane. His career was made up of killer opponents.

I think he will be known more for winning nothing but vacant titles and the only champions he beat in Martinez and Foreman, were pretty much crippled.

im not entirely sure the OP is baiting cotto fans or trying to discredit cotto...i dont know the posters history....but i have seen threads like these time and time again anyone questioning cotto should be shot and not allowed to call themselves a boxing fan though margarito is garbage and cotto busted that bum up in the rematch....margarito is nothing more than a good chin with stamina....hes not a true elite boxer and never was......if cotto had fought smarter and engaged in some clinching he would have won that first fight with ease the way he did the 2nd Read his style of writing and then familiarize yourself with the trolls around here..you'll find the similarities. Finally!!!Boxingscene.com has always been one of my favorite boxing websites. For years Ive read people's comments on Miguel Cotto. Calling him Kneeguel Cotto and ****. Who knows how long Margarito was using those bricks. Cotto takes a beating with a weapon and kept going lasting as long as he did, I think that shows courage. We all saw what happened in the rematch. Pacquiao gave Cotto a worse beating and Cotto fought til the end and complained to the ref about the stoppage. That Margarito fight definitely took a chunk out of Cotto's career. Who knows where he would of been if that fight never took place.

Cotto even started slowing down in the same rd he did in the 1st fight. Margarito was getting to him and than fight got stopped b/c of his eye. Cotto should be thankful pacquiao finished margarito's career for him. people give ortiz sh*t for quitting but not cotto because he's a warrior.
