Alexander is going to have a coming out party against Brook. This will be the first fight since Bradley that he won't have to worry about legitimate one punch knock out power. Alexander has had time to get used to the weight and is as hungry for an exciting win. Brook will find himself at the wrong place and the wrong time. He will take the beat down that Maidana got times 10. Never seen a thread so one sided and so wrong. The crazy thing is that, if Alexander is so bad, why is he never the underdog. Bloggers don't know, but boxers know. Every opponent from Urango up to and including Brook can be quoted saying Alexander will be their toughest opponent ever. Everyone on this post will be quiet as a church mouse or full of excuses after Alexander beats Brook down and finishes him!
Alexander by KO in 10.
Considering Brook is his second name and not his first your insult holds no clout,pathetic....
Dam you just keep digging the hole deeper for yourself,I wasnt the one who started comparing fighters I dont believe in triangle theories styles make fights not who beat who and whos fought who.Thats the rookie mistake you keep makin right there,I just threw the Kotelnik example outhere to show your dumb ass that styles are what make fights not ****ing triangle theories and whos fought the better opposition.
Now your bringin Manny into it wtf does that have to do with the price of oranges?I actually watched the Clottey fight live and Manny looked pretty good considering Clotteys negativity he threw alot of punches as usual.
How the **** can you compare a warrior like Manny to a spoiler like Alexander and Clottey to a faded old fart like Bailey.
Your theories and comparisons are ****ing retarded
Clottey threw 399 and landed 109 against Manny
Bailey threw 198 and landed 45 against Devon
****ing double figures right there, lets face it Bailey was pathetic and the fact Alexander couldnt put on a better performance makes me wonder about your ****ty prediction and maybe your eye sight aswell.
Do you wear glasses because if you dont you should get a pair
Your stupid ass got cornered and cant type your way out of it. Your Kotelnik comparison was a flat out triangulation theory. I used an example of a proven warrior (Paquiao)to show you how misinformed you are! The Manny vs Clottey fight was a great example. You say Manny looked great, but Manny apologized after the fight for it being boring. Clottey apologized to the fans and has not been back except for an under card over a year later. What you failed to mention was that while Manny had a crazy work rate, he took more punishment then Clottey....... I know you're scratching your retarded head, so here's the point. If Alexander would have used the same strategy as the great Paquaio, Alexander would have been knocked out because Bailey still has one punch KO power. The point is Clottey did not try to win and neither did Bailey. Clottey wanted to get paid plus stay healthy, and Bailey wanted to not get battered and maybe land another timed KO punch like he did against Mike Jones.
But here is the real deal. Brook has not faced one person considered world class when they fought. So you don't have a Maidana vs Brook, Urango vs. Brook, Matthysse vs. Brook etc. etc., all you have is a Brook vs. Carson 9 losses Jones. A fight he barely won. You simply want Brook to win,but you have no bases for thinking he will. There is no comparison in the two resumes.
Brook will run into the best Alexander ever. A seasoned and hungry Alexander that wants to put on a show. Brook and his team will confuse the tough fights with world class caliber opponents with himself and think that he can cause Alexander the same type of trouble. I think they will be dead wrong.:damnit1:
Why did you put an E on the end of his name?dont get it.if your gonna make wise cracks you should come out with something better than that because you sound like an idiot.Your talking rubbish man Maidana looked absolutely awful when he fought Devon,he looked bloated, slow and sluggish and definitely not himself.I put that win down to a bad performance from Maidana rather than a good one from Devon.Oh and wtf are you talking about with the Bailey fight?Randall threw barely any punches which should have made it easier for Devon, instead he made it a hug fest and nearly got booed out of the building. You need to get off Alexanders nuts the guy is awful.
And dont get me started on the Khan comparison,Im no Khan fan but are you talking about the same Khan that absolutely schooled Kotelnik in a title fight a guy Devon had nightmares against and probably should have lost to.
You really dont have a clue...
You don't get it because you're an idiot "Brooke" with an "e" is a woman's name dummy.
Alexander had grown out of 140 by the time he fought Kotelnik and Matthysse. And yeah I can talk about Kahn, who was out on his feet against the same Maidana that Alexander pitched a shut out against. Maidana looked awful because Alexander made him look awful. Before that fight, Maidana was universally considered a beast. As far as not having a clue, that my son would describe you. When a seasoned world class veteran knockout artist such as Bailey decides that he can not outscore a young swift and strong lion and that the only route to victory is a Knockout, that will be an ugly fight no matter who is on the other side. Unless (and this is where your stupidity shows) he can lure the youngster into a reckless firefight and catch him. Alexander's discipline is why he's the champ. You probably blame Paquiao for the ugly fight with Joshua Clottey. Clottey shelled up, refused to engage and the fight was terrible. Now if your logic is solid and consistent, then Paquaio is a boring, dull, no action, bum. Is that what you are saying? It must be, because your logic would make that one of Pacman's most exciting fights ever because the other guy wasn't punching back.
Watch your mouth! Everyone on here is not a shallow minded, unable to analyze idiot.
YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE!
Alexander in 10 or less by KO!
Alexander hasnt scored a stoppage in three years pal,in Brook your talkin about a beast of a Welterweight the guy is gonna look like a light middle on fight night.I dont think Ive seen Kell Brook knocked down yet and it certainly wont be Devon Alexander to do it,its gonna be a big puncher with a good ko record.Lets face it Alexander couldnt punch through a wet paper bag and your pickin him for the stoppage.Come on man your seriously overrating Devon, how many more **** performances do we need to see before people stop hyping this dude.
Look PAL, Brooke (that "e" was on purpose) has not been tested until now. He will fail. Alexander looked great in his 1st fight at 147. Alexander could have finished Maidana! Bailey broke the all time compubox record for lowest output, so who could have looked good. Brook will walk into the ring and limp out. He's out of his league just like Kahn is in the states. I stand by my prediction. Alexander by KO in 10------or less!
Mayweather vs. Gatti 2013
After all those super hard fights back to back to back......This is Alexander and Cunningham's chance to put on fireworks display of skill, defence, and power. I expect a Mayweather vs. Gatti look alike.
Alexander looks good and has really grown into that 147 pound frame well. 115 punches in 1 round last fight with just the right hand. I think we see some 150 punch rounds in this one. It's obvious they were working on something. It's sparring, and taped. Who really shows the public real deal sparring? He looks ready!
Mass Hysteria

Alexander by KO in 10.
Marquez Is In The Driver's Seat
He felt robbed several times, and now he got what he wanted so he should move on.
A rematch with Floyd Mayweather would be the biggest fight anyway!
The amount of post on this thread is an example of how BIG he is now.
This should be a great fight. Alexander will be ready to prove that he is skilled as well as entertaining and Brook will come with the determination indicative of your 1st title shot. I have Alexander winning in 6 to 7 round shoot out with plenty of fireworks before Brook is stopped.
And New!
A KO by Alexander would have been nice, but a win is a win. You can't blame Alexander when a guy(Bailey) set a fu...ng record for the fewest punched in a 12 round fight in decades! Maidana brought his power and came to fight, Bailey wanted to survive and land a KO. When that didn't happen, he shut down, stayed in his shell and made it a boring fight, just like (sic)Clottey did Pacquiao. Congrats champ!
Berto would be Chris Algeri's ass, and Kahn and Pacquiao fought him, so I don't see the big problem. This is what the movies are made of. Berto has the chance of lifetime. Let's see what he can do with it.
I wish Alexander had fought Bailey the way he did the other night. Saturday's version was more exciting and he seemed charged up.
Try to use a little common sense. Bailey has 1 punch knockout power. Devon would have been a fool to fight him that way. That fight was boring because Bailey knew that he had absolutly no chance to box with Devon and to win any rounds, so he commited to the KO punch. It never came, and because of Bailey's record breaking lack of activity, the fight was not entertaining. Devon did what he needed to do to get the belt. If Alexander had not hurt his hand in this fight, we may have seen some 200 punch rounds. He punched 109 with one arm in one round.
Alexander's hard schedule is starting to pay dividends. He's ready for anybody at 147 or 140 that wants to move up. ANYBODY!
ALEXANDER has the best resume compared to Bradley and Ortiz. He looked so good early that he didnt get credit for winning close fights. But he did gut out those close fights with heart and a crazy work rate. He acknowledged having trouble making 140 and looked great at 147. WHEN he gets past Bailey, and gets his chance at Floyd or Manny, I bet he looks better than Bradley or Ortiz did. Most of you all are some dumb asses with very limited observation skills. Just look at what Lucas Matthysse did to everybody else. He is a beast and Alexander beat him, albeit in close fight. Matthysse knocked everyone else clean out except Judah before and after Devon. So there is no shame in that close fight. A raw, inexperianced Maidana turned Ortiz into a wimpering biiitch. Devon beat the shiiit out of him. Sooo I COULD GO ON BUT, :****you:
WAR ALEXANDER!
Obviously Bailey is not in the drivers seat even though he is the champ. It's Alexander's TV date, so if Bailey decides to fight on a undercard for short money, so be it. The guy is 39 and is not known outside the boxing world. He and his team failed at promoting him as he was comming up. Alexander fights at home because he and his team worked to build a fan base. In case a few idiots dont get, asses in seats is a major part of the revenue to pay PRIZE FIGHTERS.
The haters should pat themselves on the back. Of course after they hate this article describing Broner's fame due to the hating.. :pat:
Like I said, this kid is inheriting Mayweather's paying costumers i.e. haters like the pac-tards. This will equate to Broner being paid a lot of money. These haters will tune in begging to see him lose. Every breath they take, every move they make, they will be watching Broner. :headbang:
Now saying that, I hope he fights someone that can potentially beat him!
You kicked ass so good all I can say is "Ditto!"
Alexander is going to destroy this old ass dude. Boxing is just like WAR. During war it does not matter how big and explosive your bomb is if you can't deliver it to the desired spot. Bailey will start full of confidence, and a young skilled boxer with deceptive pop (Alexander) is going to take his will and further expose what Jones already did. Cunningham is going to determine the various positions Bailey likes to set up his big shots from, and non of those positions will be available. Once Bailey determines that his bread and butter is gone, he will get wild and end up getting clipped his damn self.
As far as Alexander and the lack of trash talk is concerned, it reminds me of the Godfather movies. Micheal Corleone didn't talk allot, but he kicked plenty of ass.
Great Fight, Can't Wait!
Could this be one of those fights where people are underestimating the opponent (Purdy) but he ends up losing (controversially) or making Alexander look bad?
Something like what Ruslan did to Bradley.
Anyone?

Won't happen. Alexander had that happen with Kotelnik. Can't see that happening again.
Alexander shows no fear of KO Artest.
1. Urango
2. Matthysse
3. Maidana
and now Bailey.
Say what you want about him, but he runs from noone. He steps right up to the bullies and bangs all night with smart aggression. I think he knocks Bailey out mid fight.
Kell is more talented and boxes on his feet better. If Alexander is in with someone that is more skilled than what will he do? We know he doesn't have heart to be in tough and come from behind. So what will Alexander do if Brook boxes too good???%
The talent level Brook has faced makes all of the positive opinions about him invalid and out of context. Brook is untested at this level and Devon has fought the toughest and most feared in the sport. Fans root for whom they like, and that'ts all good. But.....if you consider yourself as someone who can analyze boxing, you know that its simple. Brook is untested and Alexander schedule has prepared him for anyone.
Didn't see Devon interested in Khan before. Very convenient now that Khan is damaged goods.
Your comment should be directed at the reporter and the promoter, not Alexander. Anyway, Alexander has to be given credit for fighting anyone without backing down. Bailey just knocked out a young stud and the reluctance is not comming from his side, its comming from Bailey's.
Fantastic Fight
My money is on Alexander, but this should be a great fight. Alexander has never been obviously hurt by a punch . Bailey is older and depends on the KO punch. I see Alexander displaying surprising power while out boxing Bailey. I see Bailey under estimating Alexander's power and getting desperate in the later rounds and getting clipped himself.
Alexander by KO in 10
Floyd's team is simply throwing out relevance keeping tools for the boxing writers. It's obvious to anyone that has observed his marketing tactics. I mean professional photoshops of him vs. Maidana, PAC, and Kahn are out there as well.
I see Alexander coming in extremely focused and reinvented in a way. You can't teach brawlers to box as easy as you teach a boxer to brawl. His team will work on his distance control and making opponents pay for wild aggression. Alexander may stop this guy. He almost stopped Maidana. Porter was underrated and Bradley his proven to be a hard hard out.
or he can apply constant pressure and make Alexander quit. like timmy did.:boxing:
Bradley didn't make Alexander quit....he fouled his way to the win, and Bailey can't apply pressure anyway while he's getting beat to the punch all night.
