I have a source saying he didn't fight him, Holyfield or 22 other fighter ranked in the top 10 at the same time as him. Will that do?

Holyfield? Are we talking about 45+ year old Holyfield here?

And neither are hardly top 10 all time.
Vitali was going to fight Tyson after Sanders but fought Danny Williams when he smeared Tyson instead.

Holyfield was never a possibility because when that fight could have happened Evander was injured and considered past it already.

Trying to debate with these clowns is a serious waste of time.

What kind of loser trolls threads just to discredit a single fighter anyways?

That's not a fan of boxing, that's a loser with a blind hatred for whatever reason they will not let come out. Plain and simple.

      IT IS PATHETIC.

You can find an excuse for any fight not happening. How about digging some up for the other 22 top 10 fighters he didn't fight? The point is your resume is either improved by fighting other top fighters or it doesn't improve much at all. Vits missed fighting to many top fighters to be an ATG and instead picked softer touches.

Just let me see if I can understand the original post clearly.

Vitali's resume doesn't suck, because he's fought loads of guys in the top ten........................ of a weak division?

The best boxer Vitali ever fought was a fat, old Lennox Lewis. And what happened there?

That's right.. Vitali won, because he was ahead on points.

Edit: As I recall, Tyson chose a Nielsen fight over Vitali back in 2001, but I'm going on memory.
Tyson fought Williams and the winner would meet Vitali. That was agreed to beforehand.

Didn't Tyson actually win that fight? He was up 3 round to none on all the judges cars before the knee injury. So I guess Vits ducked the REAL winner!

So it's OK for you to blindly fall down on your knees and pray to these guys like they were Gods, but no OK for others to debate the same issue? Can't you see it's two sides of the same coin.

And by the way, says the guy who gives credit where it's due:

It seems to me that you are OK with discrediting fighters, as long as they are not Klitschko's.

                      Okay, that's probably unfair.

But certainly to be considered great you must beat a few of the top guys around in your era? Who exactly are these top fighters? Corrie Sanders? Chris Arreola?

Don't forget, the one time Vitali did face the best in his era, the time he challenged for the true lineal heavyweight championship of the world, this granite chinned, unstoppable ATG got his face smashed in. Dominating and KOing stiffs during his EBU and WBO reign is one thing. When he fought the champ, a true ATG he was found out and battered.

Wlad has beaten most of the tougher opposition in this division not a Vitali.
