Was legal the first few years in the UFC and changed nothing.

Was legal in multiple places, including the entire 10 year history of Pride FC with it being the no1 MMA promotion for most of that time. Again, didnt really change anything.

He spent his career until his last two fights at LHW (205lbs), Ngannou is a HW. Hes also been very inactive for ages now, regularly goes years between fights. People say he waited until Ngannou left the UFC to come up to HW, which is probably true. But when it came to LHW the only challenger of note he didnt fight in that division in his decade plus domination of it was Rumble.

I strongly advise you take just one beginners BJJ class so you can understand how ridiculous you sound in this thread.

It's adorable that you actually think that Mike Tyson would be able to do anything in his power to stop himself from being double legged instantly and smashed into oblivion

I've had informal lessons and "a bit of a pull and a push about" with a workmate who is a Ju-jitsu black belt. That's how I know you are talking rubbish here. He's a nice guy, so it would never happen, but I can confidently say there is no way he would beat me in a street fight. And yes, I know he isn't Jon Jones, but I'm not Mike Tyson either.

How are you not doing that?

What does a silver back gorilla have to do with beating Mike Tyson?

You could beat a Brazilian Ju Jitsu Black belt in a street fight? You actually believe it too.

Comical, honestly. If that story is in any way true, then your friend is either having mercy on you and allowing you live this delusion you're living in or he's not what you described.

Let me fill you in on a little secret, anyone with no grappling or wrestling experience get's a limb of choice removed within minutes by any blue belt, much less black belt.

As for Mike Tyson, he's a boxer. His chances of beating any capable MMA fighter in a "street fight" in or around his weight class is as close to 0% as it gets. Let alone Jon Jones who would have almost every advantage on him there is outside of obviously boxing.

Tyson has the better chance. more explosive. more power, very fast and his short little trex arms might help in close quarters. hes going to have to land first. most "street fights" are people posturing or shoving until someone thows a punch so yeah if tyson gets off first he could ko him 1 shot or if hes floored and severely injured and tyson head stomps him.

larry holmes droped kicked some guy off a car right there are no rules.

of course if its understood a fight is happening and theres lots of space then jon jones is just going to choke him out. I dont think he will try to head kick him, its too risky if you miss.
