Neither has any real chance unless they catch Jones by surprise.

I prefer boxing by a mile, it's far more specialized but boxers have very little defence against takedowns, kicks and grappling that the MMA guys have.

If you got a prime Mike Tyson and trained him in BJJ for 2 years then he might have a chance but MMA guys just have too much of a varied skill set and the boxer needs to land a peach of a shot first and that's not even guaranteed to work, see Fury vs Ngannou fury ran across the ring and landed a big right hand and Ngannou took it, if Ngannou had been allowed to wrestle Fury would have been done then and there.

Id say a prime Tyson will always have a chance because of how fast,accurate and powerful he is.

His power punch timing would have to be on point against a shoot

Literally the only chance either of them have is to knock Jones out on the first combination, like Ray Mercer did to Tim Sylvia. If Jones gets ahold of either of them, they're going to the ground and not getting up.
