Both hit hard as hell. I wouldn't wanna take one on the chin from either lol Kovalev seems to have more bad intentions when he throws then GG does, to me at least.
You're an imbecile when it comes to boxing, this has already been proven. The only thing the poll speaks volumes of is sentiment for the recently deceased. Morrison could have been an ATG had he a chin, stamina and defense. But the fact is he didn't and his career was much more up and down than pre Manny Wlad. Every heavyweight has a punchers chance. But when you analytically look at it Wlad's jab will be the deciding factor. If you think you can make an argument against this than please do. My guess is you will avoid my post again knowing I'm right.
I agree with you that Tommy could've been an all time great if he had of had chin and stamina. He had all the tools in the world to be a HOF'er but those things, and unfortunately those things are two of the biggest things to being very good. He had all the God gifted talent in the world, just never could put it all together. Another thing about Tommy that would've made him a lot better then what he was was how he lived and his reckless lifestyle. If he had of taken care of himself more outside of the ring i feel he would've been a lot better, but he didn't. So, for that and to be as good as he was is a testament to the natural talent he had.
I'm sorry about his accident but the guy is a ****tard! cant understand all the love hes getting just cause hes been hurt, he is still a douche!
Wow, just wow...Really? Why? just why? What's the point of putting this? You need prayer, bro. I am sorry you feel that way, personally. Very sorry.
That was much earlier in his career to be fair. Bute is 34 and unbeaten in 30. Harder for Bute to go back to the drawing board don't you think?
Bute is 32, to be exact.
I remember Kessler hit Froch with a perfectly timed HUGE straight right right on Carl's chin in their fight. I mean you couldn't hit a person any cleaner and more crisp. Froch's legs wobbled for just a tad second, and then he just fired back like he always does. Guy is tough as pine knot. The thing i love about Froch is when you do stun him it just pisses him off more and he immediately fires back. That's the heart of a champion.
Pathetic.
see you in 12 months when Pavlik is back in rehab
Kelly may never win a SMW title, but Thor will definitely win the undisputed whatever weight hater/internet badass Championship.
I don't "hate" Kelly Pavlik. But you guys are tripping on something if you think he will beat a Froch or a Kessler, I just don't see any reality in that
but whatever i'm not going to trade barbs all night long.
Good luck to you, if your boy proves me wrong i will be the first to admit "i got it wrong" whereas if Froch beat Pavlik i expect "Pavlik was shot, he'd of won 5 years ago" to be the line
Well, you definitely put a ton of judment on the kid. Bringing up the past, constantly. Dogging him, making disrespectful comments. I realize it is a msg board and you are free to post whatever you want, but we as humans all have issues. Kelly's were magnified because he was in the spotlight. Put yourself in his shoes why dontcha? A 25 yr old undisputed MW champion. How would you have reacted? Money, fame, women, adoration. Anything any man would want in life. Kelly messed up, and he is man enough to come on natl t.v. and admit to his messups. To me, that is a man. Not somebody who is sitting behind a computer dogging somebody for making a few mistakes in his life. Where you probably would've done the exact same thing and probably have without the "spotlight" on you. Walk a mile in someone elses's shoes before you pass judgment on someone. I could care less if you like him, but to make judment on somebody you don't even know to me is the lowest of low. Kelly has balls to even own up to his issues and make this comeback, if you ask me. You need to learn some respect for fellow humanity. Maybe look in the mirror sometime, bro. Have nothing against you, but just telling it like it is. Peace.
Styles make fights, guys. Pavlik against Froch or Kess would be great fights. I'm telling you guys. It's hard to look good against a constant mover ala Rosinsky.
good fight i told you will was game us ozp boys r tough
shame kelly gets no credit for looking good against a really good fighter tonight
kellys back now im a believer
Please let this to be known to people who think Rosinsky is a club fighter. And i am a Pavlik fan.
It's not even really about the loss, but about how the public portrays him now. He's gonna live his life labeled as someone who gives up. He knows he's better than that, but articles are gonna have his name in permanent ink ruining his reputation and discrediting anything he's done or what he's worth...
Vic is a human just like all the rest of us, even as a fighter, they are still humans. Maybe Vic should think about hanging it up? Deep down he seems like a good kid. I kinda feel for him, but i have a lot more compassion then your average person. Humans will be humans. I will keep him in my prayers. You never know what is going through a personas mind or what they are thinking. That's why i am never quick to judge anyone, cause i'm not in their shoes. I wish Victor the best. I wish others would have more compassion, just because these men are boxers doesn't mean they don't have feelings and are superhuman, but that's just the society we live in. Hopefully he will brush it off, i pray he does.
Khan
Ortiz
Bute
Yusaf Mack
Juanma
Ortiz and Khan? Interesting...I admit, i like Vic, put to put him in top 5 toughest today? I'd put Abraham before him.
Pavlik loves JCC's style matchup. Pavlik has trouble with slick boxers, not pressure fighters. Pavlik's jab is a lot better then Andy Lee's and unlike andy, he won't stop using it. Pavlik would love to fight a guy like Chavez he would be there for the taking. Jab jab right all night. JCC eating that long jab all night. But, who knows..Styles make fights.
Agreed! The man has his demons like all of us. but niether man made an exuse for thier actions. i am no pavlik hater i respect him. as did i did and will tapia. they always tried.
More people need your attitude...But, they are more willing to pass judgment of someone then to look at theirselves in the mirror and see their own failures in life.
Look at the two personalities.
Tapia was a great man in wiining and defeat. as is kelly
tapia had his addiction issues as does kelly
i just see so many similar traits between the two.
Whatever happens with Kelly, i respect him as a man and a human being. He has balls to face his demons. People that talk down on somebody for that, when they probably have the same issues, but just not in the spotlight. He is facing those demons like a man...More then most all of us on here can say. I have respect for Kelly the man win lose or draw. He has always been respectful of all of his opponents, and has never been a sore loser even in defeat. I don't understand the wide range of hatred for him on these boards, but he has a TON of haters. Humans will be humans, i guess.
