Best Jab In world Boxing today?

Many years ago I seen Ike quartey on basic cable, espn i think. since then i dont think i've seen a better jab, he has one of those stiff neck twisting jabs. Sonny liston had a really long jab too. :boxing:

Obviously Wlad takes it. But, there'a s a few jabs worth mentioning. Vitali's awkward, up-angle jab gives so many guys trouble. Guerrero has a really stiff jab for a guy his size. Pac's jab has such speed. As has been mentioned, May's body jab is awesome. It's not even the jab itself but the way he gets in and out with such grace. Though it's been many years, can't resist mentioning Tommy Hearn's jab.

Solis has a jackhammer.

Malignaggis jab is beautiful, his jab is pretty much the reason his career has gone as far as it has.

loving the way Lundy was throwing his jab last night, it is a very quick and stiff jab and he use it to setup other punches VERY WELL! but I would agree with Wlad and Vitali because...well...that is all they throw most of the fight not Khan fan but yes he has a good jab, he just puts it away too quickly once he gets hit with a good shot

Gotta say the jab from Hank Lundy last night was crazy impressive. Sergio has a very powerful jab. Serhiy Dzinziruk has a very educated jab. Of course Wlad.

Wlad is the obvious choice. The guy has dominated a division while basically sticking to his jab... that's very impressive. Martinez has a good counter jab, and Mayweather Jr has a very good jab to the body.

P4P I think Cotto's jab is as goos a anybodies. I just wish he'd use it more instead of just walking in. Even against Pacquiao he gave him problems in the first couple of rounds and I think he'd have had a real chance of winning the fight but after 2 or 3 rounds he stopped using it and went back to just walking in.

Pavlik has a great jab, just watch the 1st Taylor fight.

Yeah i've been really impressed with how Ward uses his jab. Very versatile Surprised no-ones mentioned Khans jab... he's got a very good one I thought about Khan when making my list actually, but I didn't want to throw too omany names in there because there are actually a lot of good jabs in the sport. I just wanted to throw some unmentioned names in there i guess. I like Kotelniks jab better than Khans though, but khan has an amazing jab when he uses it. It killed both Judah and Malignaggi.

Ward really does have a good jab. It's hard with him though, he turns it over or brings it up a LOT. OFten times it isn't even a jab, but a hook or an upper. But it's legit. He's got a really good 1 to the body too. Yup he can use it as a range finder, a power punch or to simply keep his opponent at bay. If we're talking about best jab including how the fighter uses it, it's probably Wlad. If we're just talking about the punch itself...Cotto.

In no particular order, these jabs stick out Wlad Dizzy Sturm Martinez (Actually, as of late, his jab is sticking out more and more. His counter jab is incredible) Senchenko Syllakh Garcia I'm beginning to Appreciate Broners jab a bit more, Russel has a nice one too, top and bottom. It's not used often, but it's effectiveness is among the top, same with lil floyds. Some guys that are slept on but have an active and accurate jab are Geale Lara Vanes Demarco Golovkin and Sylvester Sebastian isn't that great a fighter, but he's a good jabber.
