The ship has sailed on a third Golovkin fight. Fans wanted to see Golovkin fight Alvarez a third time after their FOTY second fight. G said yes, Canelo said yes and then he said no and fought Rocky Fielding instead.

Okay gents, looks like my 50th Birthday celebrations have got in the way of the promised updates this weekend and now Ms K is whisking me off to the Yorkshire Dales for a couple of days while the Grandmas watch the kids. It's not an opinion. Loma barely threw any punches for most of the fight. He had Loma scared. That's a fact. Sorry, you have to learn the difference between a fact and an opinion. But don't feel bad, it's par for the course on NSB.

Who knows why some fans can't discuss fights without getting emotional? Everybody can have an opinion but the fact is that those 2 fights are in the record book as a draw in the first fight and Alvarez winning a MD in the second fight. It's good to be open minded and listen to another fan's point of view, but to argue opinions is just a waste of energy because there's no way to disprove an opinion. Finally, did any fan on NSB, after pages of back and forth, ever change their opinion about anything? LOL I exaggerate but you get the idea. :cool:

After 24 rounds Alvarez decided to fight Fielding rather than Golovkin. That's just a fact. Who knows, maybe he did feel Rocky was a bigger challenge than G.

(Mchunu beat Chambers at least before he got kod by Makabu)(these guys are huge fighters that are elite in their division for a reason even if they're less skillful their size is important,these guys compete at HW & Chambers who Mchunu beat went 12 with Klitschko & prime Povetkin,& he beat an old Ross Purity who beat Klitschko. Bellow would've slept both Benevidez & Andrade at cw too imho, I mean do you think Andrade/Fatavidez would beat someone like Chambers who comes into the ring at full-blown heavyweight? In 2016 Makabu was 29, if he fights in May he'll be 34. Jr's not getting older, he's getting better. :cool:
