Aran Dipaen is already in Japan so Inoue-Dipaen will most likely go on. GGG and Ancajas are different stories.

That's what he gets for cherry-picking. The asian region as a whole seems to still have very strict restrictions even before this new covid variant, and they have not fully opened up like the USA. I already have a feeling that this might happen. The fight will not sell if they moved it to the USA as no one knows who the F murata is.
Stevens then?
Stevens or anyone haha, I just support American boxing and was always a big fan of his. To be honest I thought he beat Jermell, but definitely an underachiever who wasn't afraid to take on the toughest fights. You gotta respect a guy who fights both Andrade and Jermell and Lara twice.
Yo I wish you hand't used vanes as your example that's my boy lol. A million other bums on GGG resume to pick from.
The vanes GGG fought was completely washed up and a has been who he forced up a weight class, but prime Vanes at 154 was a damn good fighter.

GGG will find another Wade or Vanes somewhere. No problem.

The US had its borders shut to most people from Europe and Canada but athletes still went there frequently for sporting events, including boxing. I figure an exception might be made to allow Golovkin over. It's not like there would have been a massive contingent of travelling fans going to that fight anyway, it's a huge fight in Japan so I'm sure they can make up the difference in domestic ticket sales.
Of course, if they also impose restrictions when it comes to attendance for live sporting events then it's a different story.
GGG's done anyway. Just let it be. Canelo took his soul and he hasn't been the same since. I literally cannot watch this guy with the excitement I used to watch him with...he clearly just gave up after the Canelo rematch.
Such a shame. C'mon, Golovkin....Andrade is waiting for a big fight and you're too good to fight anybody else other than Canelo...the man you lost to- twice.
I'm going to the Philippines in Jan or Feb, hope that doesn't get f'd up again. Being separated from a spouse, lemme say, I am sick and tired of this bullsh1t
Interesting. The virus continues to throw monkey wrenches in the plans of the sport. Hopefully GGG and Ancajas can make it over there before the travel restrictions take effect.
This would be poetic justice after GGG refused to fight Andrade, Charlo or Munguia all year and sat on the sidelines just for this Murata fight in Japan and it end up getting canceled. Murata fight doesn't make money outside of Japan.
