Yeah we know! The only 5% of the time you are cool with them is when it involves ggg. You're a HYPOCRITE we all know.
In that very comment that you are responding to, I was responding to someone else, saying that a catchweight for GGG Ward would have been unfortunate. GGG was said to have proposed the catchweight.
How exactly was I defending him there?
The only time a catchweight is OK is when it's for a non title fight and it's the only way to come up with a somewhat fair fight. Something like the Khan Brook situation
Ggg should take the fight alot of fans u lost cause u looking e b... Fighting nobodies fight keep getting delayed fight someone else charlo seems to have plenty free time catching charges. Perfect fight better fight n more $ jaime he wouldve signed quick now being u looked shot vs sergey. The dude adams that smoked sergey would have been glad to sign up. Lastly remember could have took a stay busy fight in euro eubanks jr perfect. A shot ggg beats eubanks jr ao wtf is ur deal ggg. Canelo 168 take it only real big payday left then charlo. Adams no1 knows the name but skilled.
Funny part I read is canelo fans saying he won the second fight because he was charging the entire fight, had control, yeah but the first fight triple g had full control and charging and still loss but canelo lovers can't seem to see that
Despite GGG saying everyone from "154-168", GGG refused to fight Canelo at 154 as he said it's because he's the MW champ. Now that Canelo is the 168 lb champ, Canelo still has to fight GGG at 160 who has done NOTHING in recent history LMAO
What a clown fan base
ggg vs canelo at 154 would have been dumb doesnt matter what ggg said, and i dont think he meant 2 middleweight champs should fight at 154 just so his opponent can have an advantage. as a fan you would be happy with that? its lame. canelo was the 160 pound champ why in the world would he fight at 154? only reason is to gain an advantage. he was willing to fight chavez jr at 164 but couldnt fight ggg at 160? like i said lame. and ggg vs canelo at 168 is dumb. canelo doesnt have to fight ggg at all. he had the chance to fight him after the second fight and made excuses. now he is willing to fight him. thats called cherry picking. why are you a fan of that? last i checked beterbiev is and has been the best at 175. he won the title the same time canelo beat kovalev and yet they still havent fought. bivol is good but why the delay there? not a big enough name? yildram? bivol? huge names there
it’d be silly to match them up back to back to back again. Canelo’s going to go down his own path to super-stardom. This fight took him there. Triple-G has to regroup himself, get a couple more wins, maybe, until we do it again.” canelo's promoter
"I said it before the fight, and I'm going to repeat it," Alvarez said. "For me that fight presents no challenge to me right now. We fought two times, 24 rounds. I beat him, so he represents no challenge.
now its time though!!!
everyone ignoring that canelo vs 40 year old ggg at 168 is a complete cherry pick and they are mad at ggg for not wanting to be the cherry lol. i mean for big money he should do it but its not a good fight. why not fight bivol and beterbiev? so lame
Hope it doesn't happen. Golovkin shouldn't give that ginger cvnt the satisfaction of getting a payday or a legit win.
tbh GGG could use the money.
Another 20 mil payday.
I mean he's prob networth around 50 mil. another 20 mil would be massive.
Canelo is like already in the 100 mil range and he can fight anybody to make money.
I’m just pointing out the facts in response to your nonsense. I’m not taking the thread anywhere you haven’t already taken it to and since you are only repeating yourself now, I’ve nothing further to add.
you quoted me about Ward n Nelo, when this is about ggg, your fanboyism is butthurt that your idol ggg turned out not so fearless and has also acted like a diva, so you discredit other boxers just to protect your idol ggg, no nonsense truth hurts :boxing:
like I've said you seem to be such a ggg nut hugger and keep deflecting towards Nelo and Wards careers they moved on to ATG status, while ggg still wants to argue over weights when himself mentioned 154-168, Canelo has clearly moved on but now theres a new deal on the table and his willing to fight him again, ggg has done nothing but beg for paydays, time went on and now we've seen whos talked and walked, he's exposed himself as diva, ok ok good boy Chavez ok 172, Ward maybe ok 164, Canelo no no only 160

HBO sat down with Ward and Golovkin and asked if they were ready to fight, Golovkin said yes Ward said no. Ward was too busy reneging on his contract with his cancer stricken promoter. Ward has never denied this.
Ward/Kovalev will always be 1-1, to anyone who has seen the fights, with Ward’s win having an asterisk. This is Ward’s history.
Canelo demanded a weight restriction from Rocky Fielding.

this thread is about gggs diva'ness ways but you keep bringing and comparing to Canelo and Ward those guys went out and made real history, they have achieved boxing greatness, Kovalev literally bend the knee to Ward, I pointed out exactly what hes tried to do Chavez ok at any weight, Canelo apparently only at 160 and Ward only up to 164 these are facts from ggg, while he had said from 154 to 168 thats why Ward was mentioned, HBO tried to hyped ggg pushing that he was a p4p great and didn't work it lol it droved them to cancel HBO boxing entirely, HBO really brainwashed yall

Canelo drained Chavez to 164, Golovkin offered 172.
Canelo is the most popular fighter in the world, he can make any fight he chooses and make the fights on a field tilted in his favor. There is no comparison.
Did you even see the Ward/Kovalev fights??
Yes, the fan in me wishes Golovkin would retire, Golovkin has faded badly and it’s difficult to watch. As a realist I understand. There is a lot of money on the table and he wants enough to last his lifetime and into the life of his kids.

Facts, it was a duck period. G ducked Ward, Canelo ducked G. G cherry picked Canelo because he thought it would be an easier fight and it backfired. The truth hurts, truth is they're both ducked.
BUT.
G wasn't the one who failed a drug test and got the second fight delayed. So he deserves to **** around w canelo all he wants, point blank period. Ducking makes you a *****, but failing a drug test is an even bigger sin.
I just exposed the facts about ggg/canelo. I didn't see ggg ducking ward, he has never fought at 168 nor 175. Just because you don't move up on weight, Marvin comes to mind, doesn't mean you are a ducking. Ggg didn't cherry picked canelo, it was the other way around, he thought it was ripe and ready for the picking. You're right, it did backfired. Right now, is a meaningless fight. Some people can move up in weight without any problems, pacquio and canelo is proof of that, others not so much. Be safe, by the way, I'm a fan of boxing, not ggg nor canelo.
I'll be very interested to see what GGG does with this fight, and with Murata. At his age, and recent form, and with Canelo's stellar recent form, you have to wonder if he is 2nd guessing the fight and has 1 foot out the door at this point.
Still, the only fight I've seen him look vulnerable/rather pedestrian, was vs Derevy. GGG is still in great shape, and will presumably outland Canelo again in most rounds if they fight again. He just has a better gas tank.
The fight would be more fun if GGG had a better chance of scoring a KO himself, but Canelo looks about as tough to KO as anyone in the sport right now.
Let's hold off a minute on this one. Coppinger was pulled up for being a fkking liar only yesterday and anything that may look bad on a DAZN front is also guna be jumped on by ESPN.
It may be true though, I'd rather have Canelo take the PBC deal anyway and kick the life out of Charlo.
In the past, when people got mad at Coppinger, it was because he broke the story before they were ready. Remember Hearn absolutely going off on Coppinger for being a liar when he broke the story that Matchroom was leaving Sky, only for Matchroom to announce exactly that a few days later?
I suspect Canelo has told his people they've decided on going with the Hearn deal, but they're using the PBC offer as leveraged to negotiate for a little bit more money. Coppinger breaking the news that they're going with DAZN impacts their leverage.
The ship has sailed on a third Golovkin fight. Fans wanted to see Golovkin fight Alvarez a third time after their FOTY second fight. G said yes, Canelo said yes and then he said no and fought Rocky Fielding instead.
Yeah, Rocky with a weight clause :pat:
Ward, "I'm not moving down to fight GGG." responding to catchweight. keep in mind GGG was a bigger draw at this time. GGG was the A-side.
Ward had no leverage and still wouldn't do catchweight which is a 50/50 compromise.
Catchweights are always garbage imo, at least they are 95% of the time.
But you are correct that Ward had no leverage and still tried to act like the A-side. That's the main reason why that fight couldn't happen.
Anyone negotiating a Canelo fight should get the benefit of the doubt, to make sure they aren't getting drained in some way. Not even being snarky, just have to assume some of that stuff is in play vs Canelo

Lol ggg would fight trash Chavez jr at anyweight lol, he said it himself anybody from 154-168, but he seems to always have excuses about weight when its a real threat, i thought he beat Nelo both times in really close fights specifically the 2nd match, but Nelo has really trashed gggs career easily, he moved on n has made history, while ggg still begging for only big paydays, hes washed up and needs to retire, ggg wanted Ward at a catchweight lol Ward moved on and demolished Kovalev at 175
What has ggg done since, who has he really beaten, biggest wins are he's loses to Nelo
