I think its more about the money than the weight!. who besides the guys at welterweight would you believe he can make some good money with? he came up in weight remember? he was 154 and moved up to 160 for the middleweight belt. lets say he was to challenge andre ward, do you think he would make more money than any of the smaller guys he's been calling out? no way!

Sergio is being a ***** going after Floyd and Manny, if money is his motivation, why not challenge the bigger guys like Hopkins, Bute, Ward, Haye, Klitschko or even Valuev to make it a circus!! Dony you guys remember that morales couldnt make that weight again? the only way to fight the second and third time was for morales to make a weight he could no longer make. sound familiar? seems like they will only fight if the other fighter is weight drained. but poeple will try to make weight for millions wouldnt you?

It would have if Brook could have atleast lost by decision. But he was about to get KO'D, just as many expected. Your stock rises in a loss when you do way better than expected. So Brook had a good couple of rounds!?!?, I honestly thought that he was a good enough boxer to survive 12 rounds and loose! But that was not close enough, so I disagree.
GGG calling smaller fighter's and everyone on his sack is getting all excited! Ward calls GGG and they all stay quiet! GGG would definitely get more money than his past fights if he fights Ward! At one time GGG'S team was saying they'd go all the way up to LHW for the right fight.
The only Cuban fighter that created any excitement recently is Gamboa! I wish all Cuban school fighters were as exciting as him. He lost to a bigger man but he wasn't running all night! He was actually trying to win! Not just survive.

There is more money for ward to fight GGG than Kovalev! And more money for GGG to fight Cotto! Both GGG AND Ward are only ducking higher weightclass fights because of money!.their managers are more to blame for the ducking than the fighters themselves.
I don't remember any fight between two people where one guy got knocked out cold and still had everyone(besides pac fans) thinking a rematch is needed as if the fight(scores) was controversial.
If someone doesent like mares fighting style, or what the ref isn't calling, don't watch mares fight! That seems to be what got him where he is today. I think it would bother me if he hit low when he was in trouble or something. But if you throw a crapload of body punches while chasing your opponent, im sure some of those are going low...

We had rematch after rematch because the people couldn't agree on who won convicingly! Now that someone finally got the most convincing win after 4 fights they won't accept it. They have to start trying to find some theory(roids, lucky punches,Pacquiao having distractions, etc.) to make themselves feel better! The only thing I was concerned with when they made the 4th fight was the most obvious! , Marquez being 39. Pacquiao has fought Marquez past his prime the last 3 fights IMO....
I don't know about you guys, but I actually started becoming kind of "anti-pacquiao" after he was refusing the tests. I think he later agreed on taking the tests to salvage his name. Im sure that they took on marquez because they figured he was hitting 40 yrs old, and how could he possibly beat pac now? It made the victory even more sweet! The casual fans that I know feel that marquez is the better fighter, but pacquiao is a superior athlete. Pacquiao beat guys that marquez wouldn't be able to! Cotto,Margarito,De la holla,etc.

He is get and did win in spectacular fashion, but it seems he even knows that if there is a 5th fight, he had a lot to lose. He can make a lot of money but likely will get TKO'd. Manny solved JMM finally, and was on his way to winning until a lucky punch that would knock anyone out.
