is that even when he loses a round, his opponent gets battered. This is the problem with someone beating him, sure he shows vulnerability but even when they win the round, they come out of the round worse then he does. I think Ward is the only guy. IMO Cotto and Canelo shouldn't go near him. Cotto is too small and isn't durable enough. Canelo can be hit and doesn't have the stamina. They're both great paydays for him, but they don't need that fight. Especially Canelo, he's a young guy and a great fighter with a bright future, he doesn't need a beating here.

Or go to light heavy and fight kovalev.
To an extent I agree with this, but my God if he fought Ward and somehow won he'd have to retire. No one would fight him then.
If anybody needs to man up..it's ggg.
He's 33 years old and has yet to take a single risk.

He's not even fighting anyone of note though. I would understand if he was in a good weight class but he is in a weight class that is the second weakest as far as total knock outs go, out of 17 weight classes. So yeah, when he loses a round at MW and you see he apparently has taken no punishment, just keep in mind his weight class is in 16th place out 17 in boxing in the knock out department. If you are confused as to how I got the numbers or what am I talking about just view this thread: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=668012
So yeah, he can show all the vulnerabilities he wants to, and take punches right on the chin while mocking his opponents Campbell-Peden style with 5-6 KO's or 37% KO percentages and less than 50%. He can afford to do that because he is surrounded by weak punchers and guys coming up in weight. I guarantee he wouldn't do that mocking, disrespectful taking punches on the chin stuff if he was fighting Froch or Kovalev.
No problem with GGG. He is doing just fine. If you have a problem with him man-up and step into his office.
GGG is one of the best boxers right now.
Based on what? That long list of murderous punchers and elite boxers he's faced? GTFOH
This must be a joke. Canelo is much bigger and hevier than Cotto but he gets a pass?
He's serious... You know because 155 is under 160, forget they are both MW but obviously it means Canelo is smaller because he fights at a lower weight. :lol1:
Sorry to disappoint you but he was not gassed. The deep breathing you saw him doing is just a technique to maximize the oxygen in his blood, it was nothing out of the ordinary for him to do that.
Boy you really are in love! If team GGG put out a press release saying all good humans should eat feces, the very next day you'd be posting on here how great it was to eat feces and how everyone who doesn't eat feces is evil

Last time I checked Canelo aint holding any belts at 160, while cotto on the other hand is. Whats so hard to understand?
Did you see how gassed GGG looked between rounds against monroe ?

Yes and every round he comes back out fresh, his recovery rate is brutal. No one beats him because he gasses out. No matter what round he hits like a mule. I don't like the lack of discipline though, where he invites his opponent to brawl. This has become too much about business, but it's what it is.
I would invite you to go back to the rounds he lost and look at how much damage he inflicted. I appreciate your point though, sure he's winded he's battering his opponent. I don't like it, he should be more economical in there.
I give Canelo a pass for not fighting him because of the weight difference but Cotto on the other hand is just looking like such a diva. You got the Lineal recognition, don't cherry pick your competition, Fight the best contender or abandon the belts and gtfo. If he beats geal, muthafckn geal, there is no excuse for him not to fight ggg and still remain at 160.
Canelo is 170+lbs on fight night.
He's not smaller, he just cuts more weight for an advantage vs JMWs
GGG calling smaller fighter's and everyone on his sack is getting all excited! Ward calls GGG and they all stay quiet! GGG would definitely get more money than his past fights if he fights Ward! At one time GGG'S team was saying they'd go all the way up to LHW for the right fight.
Bring on the winner of Lemieux N'dam.
Quillin could be a stay busy fight also.
Can you imagine Quillin trying to fence with Golovkin like he did with Lee? Lee didn't even land 10 punches per round and only threw about 25 per round. Quillin only landed 8.5 per round! I think Quillin would be getting a little surprise if he expects GGG to do the same. Might be a stay busy fight for a round or so only, not even worth the time to train for it really. :boxing:
The biggest problem is he aint fought anybody worth a fck , great potential but beating average comp is nothing to rave about , MW Roy Jones would have destroyed last Sat nights GGG in a less than 5 rounds , Gennady need to stop fighting B+ guys and step up to the big names at 168-175 .
So ward gets a pass for not fighting Stevenson or kovalev even though he's just 3 lbs under them, but GGG needs to skip a weight class,go up 15 lbs, just to prove he's good? Those are some serious double standards....
GGG is the best 160lber out there. The only guy out there that can beat him is Quillin. And that's only if he lands a huge right hand early in the fight. These other guys don't have the size and strength to beat GGG.
