Can anyone tell me what was the key for Erik Morales beating Manny Pacquiao the first time?
Does anyone believed that moving up in weight to fight to face Zahir Raheem affected him in his rematch with Manny?
it doesnt..there are other fighters too u know..i wanted to show how truly great morales was..see as a erik fan surrounded by idiot pacfans 24/7, i enjoy it..is that alright with you?
It's natural to get overly defensive when someone calls you out on something stupid that you did...
But, please, if you would, calm the **** down.

be bigger than pac and make pac move backwards.
is the pic gonna be of a PRIME WELL CONDITIONED erik?
or a past prime weight drained skeleton looking version or erik?
please answer..
maybe a post where you owned yourself :lol1:
He wasn't in prime condition because he had many distraction during his training camp.
just like Pac was distracted by his socks against JMM 1?
pacquiao's best weight is at 130 yet the hasbeen version of morales still kicked his ass..and was winning IN ALL 3 judges scorecards up until the 6th in the rematch,WITH pacroids CHOICE OF GLOVES it was pretty damn obvious erik's legs were gone as was pointed by all the commentators...
imagine what erik wouldve done to pussy manny at the below weights:
Juan Carlos Ramirez..TKO12
Fernando Velardez..TKO5
Jose Luis Bueno..KO2
Kevin Kelly..TKO7
Guty EspadasX.. KO3
Wayne McCullough..UD12
Carlos Hernandez..UD2
In Jin Chi..UD12
Junior Jones..TKO4
Jesus Chavez..UD12
Daniel Zaragoza..KO11
Paulie Ayala..KO11
Marco Barrera..SD12
Manny Pacquiao..12 round ass kicking
David Diaz???
Morales wouldve WRECKED pussy pacquiao for his own amusement...
hell he already toyed and switched to southpaw and humilated that bitch manny at his own weight..
How do Morales's fights with Hernandez, Chavez, Pacquiao I and David Diaz prove his viability below 130 again?
He wasn't in prime condition because he had many distraction during his training camp.
Are you Pro Psycho by the way? I need to update my sig if so... you keep changing your name!

It doesn't matter... Pacquiao's style just eats Barrera's up every time.

The cut!! Also the missing Medical Checkup that requires pac to be Drawn Blood days before the fight. Pac was not full strength at that fight.
if you gonna base what erik morales looks like (looks weight drained) in the weigh in day, that means hes been weigh drained since the junior jones fight.
I would think him gassing in the later rounds might be a better indicator, since he had never done that in his career up to that point, but maybe that's just me.
so Barrera won that fight coz Morales was weight drained?
No, Barrera won because Morales didn't really look like he showed up to fight in the third fight... either he was past it at that point, having a bad night, or something. I don't think it was the weight.
Oh yeah, and Barrera won because his style (when he used it, yes I'm referencing the first few rounds of Barrera-Morales II, when he got outboxed by Morales) is perfect for chopping Morales's style to bits. Barrera's style matches up as well as anything can against Morales's style.
barrera was 29?? what about the wars he had? what about the fact that he had almost already 60 fights??....age??.....age?????
dumb dumb dumb:boxing:
how about u post a pic of erik durin the weigh of their rematch?? i tried to find but couldnt
how about you post a pic of erik AFTER the rematch

I'll vouch for this... I watched countdown to Pacquiao-Morales III today, and my god... he looked very gaunt.
Anyway, this is also true that age doesn't really matter as much as when your body decides to give out.
45 year old Hopkins is way more prime than 30 year old Vargas. Think about that for a bit.
Barrera's first fight at 130 was also against Morales. That doesn't change the fact that Morales was weight drained in the rematch with Pac.

Ofcourse Pac is beatable. He even loss 2 times already before morales fight. No one is unbeatable in boxing. Ever boxer can be beaten. But the question is the chances of being beaten. Right now I still think Cotto can beat Manny but the chance of beating Manny is around 40% only. just my thoughts
That flyweight child getting KO'd means nothing in my opinion. His chin is as good as anyone's now.
The only thing that matters is Morales I and the draw with Sanchez. Even those are getting fairly outdated, since he has changed his style so much.
jab and chin, pretty much.............and prime morales' chin and overall toughness were unbreakable.......thats why prime terrible always beats pac imo......pac usuallly shy's away from the heat when he gets hit back........
True on the first fight. On the 2nd, he probably realized he can take Erik's punch and proceeded to dig it to the body even though Morales is gaining the rounds. He fought less on the backfoot for the 2nd and 3rd fight. I think the strategy of going forward and investing on body punches won him those KO victories.
But, IMO, prime Erik would get beaten by prime Pac.
Erik Morales is just a better boxer thats all.
Pac is not unbeatable.
Lol, the current Pac is a better boxer than Erik Morales technically.
Do you not remember Guty Espadas (apparently) getting robbed against Morales? I didn't see it that way, but the entire world seems to think that Espadas got screwed against Morales.
name a current contender, and we'll pick apart all of his fights too
I'll do it for you with a couple of my favorite fighters:
Winky Wright - biggest wins: Mosley (X2), Trinidad, Quartey
Mosley - Not a great 154 pound fighter, outside of his weight class.
Trinidad - The Joppy fight proved him as a good middleweight, but after his long layoff post-retirement, it took him forever to take Mayorga out... he was pretty shot.
Quartey - What about that fight makes you think that Quartey has any business fighting at middleweight?
Paul Williams - biggest wins: Matthysse, Mitchell, Margarito, Quintana, Phillips, Wright
Matthysse - Undefeated prospect... in reality, he ****ing sucks.
Mitchell - Shot X1,000,000.
Margarito - A pretty good win overall, not a lot of bad things to say about this one, other than that he is limited as a fighter.
Quintana - A one round KO doesn't make up for a lopsided 12 round comprehensive face****ing... A third fight is really needed to settle this.
Phillips - Mediocre... at best.
Wright - 21 month layoff, plus, his best days are behind him.
The ugly truth is that it's hard to beat a top fighter decisively, and those wins just don't come along very often.
