This situation is similar to the Pac and Floyd fiasco. Marquez, just like Pac, should have been the main guy going into the fight but Golden Boy sometimes likes being biased towards a particular fighter (Khan or Floyd). Pac and Marquez are icons and future hall of famers I'm glad that they pull out of their propose fight. Floyd and Khan still need alot of good quality wins in order to be considered icons.
We'll find out once he steps up against a puncher and get nailed right in the chin. When he is faced with adversity, we will see if Valero is the real deal like Evander Holyfield or some fraud.
Berto should just fight Isaac and stop being a punk for not taking the fight. He is just going to waste time and then have to deal with rust just like Mosley when he was obssessed with Pacquiao.
I understand Paulie wants to pick on Diaz again because he is small. How about you pick on someone your own size at 140. There are a bunch of fighters at the Junior Welterweight division ready to fight. Fukk a catch weight....stupid guido is trying to follow Floyd's formula for success by picking on small fighters. How bout grow a sack of balls and call out Holt, Torres, or Ortiz.
Here is the formula:
1. Southpaw; a righty could still have a chance
2. Need to have same reach as Mayweather or higher
3. Don't walk in front of him
4. Have a decent defense and chin
5. Be aggressive
Q: So why were we given the impression that its a catchweight at 144?
A: So people will not think of it as a huge mismatch and buy to watch it.
All along, as confirmed by Floyd, it was a fight with the WW limit of 147. That was why they tried to keep the limit a secret but floats it around at 144. This is pure deception on the GBP's side.
My friend bet for Marquez considering the catchweight, now he feels he was fooled and plans to withdraw his bet. How many feels the same way?
It's hard to pull out from bets especially if its not your friend or someone you know well...I thought of betting for Marquez but the catchweight of 144 was too much. I'm betting for Cotto to beat Pacquiao though. I know Cotto will came in at the required weigh in because he actually respects the game not like the lame puzzy Mayweather....what a disgrace.
Floyd knew from the beginning that this was a huge fight and disrespected the sport of boxing by not making 144. I hope that arrogant prick loses tommorow and doesn't get a rematch...he can go fucc himself
Whenever Taylor does that lil dance I always do it while he is doing it...I don't care how many people are around me. I just find it very cool...I started doing it since the first Bhop fight.
Shane is a lock for the Hall of Fame but Mayweather still has alot to accomplish before he gets in. Maybe fighting a true Welterweight might help :boxing:
I spoke to him a month ago and he said he is focus and ready to be the #1 fighter in the world (140 lbs). He was not mentally ready for Maidana and did some soul searching. There is no way he's gonna call it quits.
I don't mind watching Martinez or Quintana against Clottey. I just think that Clottey wanted to stick to 147 because of the bigger paychecks. There are alot of fighters at 154 but do not have the name recognition. Clottey knows that if he beats Quintana it will lead to bigger fights (Berto, Mosley).
Since this division is deeper than Atlantis, might as well make it a true tournament. Eight fights, single elimination. Winners advance to quarterfinals, semifinals, and final.
1. Peterson
2. Bradley
3. Ortiz
4. Hatton
5. Campbell
6. Maidana
7. Kotelnik
8. Malignaggi
9. Urango
10. Judah
11. Kahn
12. Torres
13. Holt
14. Alexander
15. Alvarado
16. Marquez
This would be insane.....I think everyone would jump on this!!!:biggthump
By the way.....let me know when your done in Jessica's room....im next....:fing02:
She only allows me and Cash Warren to hit it. I'm deeply sorry.
I guess Mosley is getting left off and will take the whole year off. That's what he gets for being so obsessed with Pacquiao. Clottey is his only option we will have to wait and see if it happens.
Hopefully he can get his head straight for good...I always watch boxing with my brother. Although I have more boxing knowledge, he can still hold a good boxing conversation. He is always learning something new like a new fighter or uprising superstar just about everything there is a fight. I don't like watching boxing by myself.
man fukk you..what kinda dumb shit is that to say..bitches like you come online to say shit you wouldnt dare say in real life...pussy
I agree with you, saying some random shit like that is 100% haterism. He must got hater genes from his family tree.
I got alot to name...it would take me the whole day to type all the fights.
I have all main event fights and I usually download undercard fights that are worth watching again. I won't download espn, versus, or telefutura fights unless its fight of the year type of shit, which is impossible nowadays.
HAHA.. Nice..
I feel you on that..
I just have no1 to talk about boxing with.. I mean at my job all these guys are about football and baseball.. Im like, um yea. i follow boxing
Its rare to find someone who is a true fan so when there is, its like oh shit i gotta talk to them..
I can relate with you, I can't talk about boxing with anyone else. Its depressing maybe I should just give up and focus on football.
Four fights will be shown:
Pavlik's
Cotto's
Duddy's
Korobov's (replaced Peterson-Cherry)
I was planning to order it but I changed my mind. Al Bernstein is doing the commentary - he doesn't like white boxers, and I find his discrediting and general negativity toward them annoying.
Al Bernstein works for Showtime not HBO
