Damn, I wish something like this got organized for my area (Cleveland). We all seem to have the same problem of having friends who either don't watch boxing or are morons & think they know boxing. Unless it's UFC nobody cares anymore, and I'm not going to waste anymore energy on that topic.... Anyway, good luck, I hope it works out.

Meet up at a restaurant or bar and eat and catch the fight? what do you think? Just throwing it out there.. I have like 15 ppl on my contacts that are in nyc If your paying for the flight fare i'll be there.. I will even buy the first round

Leave it up to homos to ruin a thread. First off, this is a good idea. I personally am the only boxing fan I know and always wanted to meet with boxingscene fans at a fight because casual fans dont know a thing about boxing and my friends hate the sport. Second, I would have been down but i'm only 20 and cant get in a bar. But boxing fans coming together pigging out on wings and gettin drunk at a bar watchin a great fight sound like a great idea to me. I hope u guys have a good time and i'll hopefully be at the fight live. Lastly, Franks Pizza in Newark Nj got it locked so cut the hate In Spain you can get a beer in McDonalds when you are 16. I suggest you watch the fight there.

LOL yea.. What i did was, over the course of time that ive been on these boards, everytime i saw a user was from nyc i would add them to my contact list.. I sent a PM out to many, some are out of state, others are too young to hit up a bar.. Ima keep pressin to get something goin. i got about 5 ppl.. 10 would be kool but lets see what happens.. hell, i dont even care if 3 ppl come.. ill be happy with that, as long as they not weirdos
