Floyd was fined $300,000 for every pound he was over, it was a punishment for not making weight. It wasn't some sort of money for pound trade in program like some Floyd fans are making it out to be. How about giving Marquez props for still taking the fight!

The fight is a ww fight. Mayweather and marquez agreed the limit is 147. Mayweather also agreed to give jmm some money for every pound over 144 it doesn't mean he has to come in at 144. Keep in mind that Floyd Mayweather always said this fight is a "welterweight" fight. Iam not defending anyone and i woulda liked the fight to take place at 144 but if Marquez agreed to this then it is what it is. the fact is that at all the press conferences & in all the news clippings they specifically said the catch weight was 144.
