alot of boxers will use weights as part of their regime, but they wont be juicing or doing to the extent of a bodybuilder.
If you train everyday, and give your body enough calories, it will grow into what it is supposed to be...IE its natural potential.
Some fighters have huge muscles, some dont, it depends on genetics, just as some people have huge noses or ears.
they just have a low body fat...
You could measure the power of any boxer if you have full motion video of them. You simply measure the time it takes for a punch to get from one point to another and then multiply this by the mass behind the punch.(based on stance and weight etc)
You could use software to create computerized wire models of different fighters from video footage and measure their power reasonably accurately.
I`ve seen this done with animals to predict striking power.

you can have all the boxing skills or street fighting skills in the world but if you lack the mental strength to street fight you will get ktfo.
I have seen a martial artist who had years of experience, black belts etc get beaten senseless by someone throwing wild haymaker type punches.
In a street fight most mma skills are useless. If you are fighting the guy 1 on 1 on a padded floor maybe its of use, lets be honest, if you are in the real world, you probably have more than one attacker, going for a take down will get you kicked in the back of the head, stabbed, or worse.
If you have to fight, stay on your feet, fight fast and feriociously until they are no threat, then run like the wind or you'll get busted.

he would have had problems 10 years ago with his size...holyfield never faired well against the really big guys..

Mayweather will get stopped. He struggles against pressure fighters who can cut the ring off; look how Castillo exposed him the first time around.
I dont see Mayweather having the heart necessary to go 12 rounds. He did it with old man Oscar and struggled to a split decision win, but Hatton isn`t going to gas out over the last 4 rounds if he's in shape.
I see a TKO win for Hatton, or a lucky cuts win for Mayweather. Whatever happens, Fraud Gayweather wont see round 12.

Tua would have been a great match up. I'd go with Tyson due to his superior speed and general boxing ability.

Tyson isn`t even in the same league as Lewis. Lewis is a far better fighter and has beaten better opposition including the ear biter himself.

Most of Tysons opponents lost before they entered the ring because of fear, Douglas wasn`t scared and look what happened.

Most of my friends watch boxing and have been since they were kids. None of them find Mayweather entertaining....i dont know anyone who could call his fights exciting. Yes he rolls and slips punches and counters, but that gets boring after 5 minutes.

The one fighter who was considered to be great at the time was Castillo, and we all know that Castillo beat on Mayweather all night and probably won the fight by 4 rounds.
Theres nothing worse than a 'fan' who refuses to be objective. I like certain boxers, but i can see faults in their styles or people who would beat them.

Hatton may have only fought twice outside of the UK but Mayweather has never fought outside of the US to my knowledge.
I dont think Floyd had the power to KO Hatton from one punch, but it will be an accumulation of punches.
We will see in the first round whether or not Hatton can win this fight.
If he can successfully bully Floyd and get his body shots off, he has a good chance of winning. If he can`t get on the inside and cut the ring off then he'll be eating a lot of punches and will lose a decision or get stopped late.
This could go either way.
Floyd hasn`t been fighting real fighters for a while now and most of his opponents have been hand picked.
This is in Hattons favour because he wont quit and shouldn`t gas out like Oscar did.
I'd make Mayweather a slight favourite but Hatton can win if he imposes himself and turns the fight into a war. But he has to cut the ring off and hunt Mayweathers body for 12 rounds, then he could stop Mayweather late on. It will be a though night tough.
When you brits get your one great fighter every 25 years(Hatton doesn't count), you fall head over heels in love w/ him. He beat an inexperienced fighter(Lacy) . He has a great trainer but lack of experience. I'm in no way a Lacy fanboy but, so fucking what if he beat Lacy, He gonna get his ass whooped by a damn dutchman.

1. For one DLH isn't fading! DLH was fukin fast and strong against Mayweather. He just f's up when it come to big fights. Then he always makes excuses.

3. Castillo didn't want to fight. He was being man hadled AS IN huged. So Casiillo said fuk it and stood down. Just like DLh who also said fuk and stood down for the Hopkins fight.
