What are you talking about? The fight itself wasn’t much to write home about. It was a chess, highly skilled fight with no a lot of punches landed by either boxer. Am not calling either fighters ability to fight into question. Am calling the actual fight horrible to watch.
horrible to watch? you an mma gay fan bro?
Word on the street is Canelo vs Munguia on cinco de Mayo weekend at stadium Azteca. That is oscars big reveal as Canelos next opponent. Should be a great matchup.
where you here this? any sources? or pure speculation?
Fight was closer than the scorecards suggested, but no way was it a draw either, Trout won at least 7 rds of the fight and that is being generous to Cotto to be fair
Neither, its easily Malignagi, always crying out for attention on twitter, said the other day he was only so bad against Hatton because of McGirt, whinging piece of shyte
I like how you conveniently left this part out:
(but a lot more with Japanese TV)
You really think Nishioka is stupid enough to come fight for 100K? Why would Donaire choose Rigo over Nishioka? Since he supposedly wanted Nishioka the whole time and he's "supposed" to be the best at 122. You people are too gullible. Why is Donaire mentioning Rigo now when he's just about to fight? Why didn't he mention this when he was looking for an opponent?
and how much money do you think Rigo would earn from Cuban tv? so there you have it, it made more sense, Rigo wouldn't fight for the right price, Nishioka would
Here it is :

:wave::wave::wave:
Nonito hater, and a Rigo fan, makes sense why he's butt hurt Nonito is fighting one of the top guys in the division instead of a guy who has proven nothing in the division and only just beat an over the hill version of cordoba
I have hope for Khan and Juanma I feel both would do themselves a favor by moving up in weight
i think that would be a mistake for both imo, move up to face even more powerfull fighters
Who is going to beat Ward in the next 5-6 years???
He already beat Kessler, Froch, Dawson, Bika, and Abraham. Here's who will be around his weight the next 5-6 years.
175: Pascal, Cloud, Campillo, Murat, Bellew.
168: And. Dirrell, Ant. Dirrell, Stevenson, Rodriguez, Groves, DeGale, Oosthuizen, Bute.
160: Golovkin, Quillin.
Those are the most likely opponents for Ward the next 5-6 years and I don't think any of them beat him. Ward won't lose until he's passed it, and hopefully he knows when he's done, but he has a style that can win fights until his late 30's.
Cleverly :boxing:
Yeah after saying he could come down to 68, Dawson changed his tune during the negotiations and asked for a catch weight. Cheap move.
dAWSON ASKED FOR 172 FIRST, then 170, then said **** it
Honestly, i cant see anything coming of this, it was a close fight regardless of whatever anybody says and the three judges all having the same score i think reflects that, someone watching the bias of the HBO/Primetime commentary are always going to get led into what is being portrayed via that commentary. People should watch without sound before making assumptions, i personally scored the fight for Pac 7-5 but round 6 was a round that could of gone either way, certainly no robbery
I think that Abrill is no better than everyone who had seen him fight thought he was, it was more a case of Brandon Rios being exposed for what he is. The guy can fight but he cant box too good, any decent boxer with a decent chin will have Rios's number, if the guy cant make it a slugfest he's pretty much beaten, he's got no plan B
Froch has a better resume, Frank Warren fighters will always have a **** resume, he's too fat slimey and greedy to think of the fighters, Kell is still where he was, Jones would give most WW's a tough time, imagine Ortiz crumbling in the late rounds of that pressure
Not sure if you're being sarcastic or what. You never know around these forums. But something tells me you're directing this at the Pacquiao fans.
I had Donaire winning by 1 point. If he hadn't got the KD he would've lost on my cards.
how would he have lost, 1 knockdown would have gave him a point less making it a draw on your card
This had to be a robbery right??? compubox had him landing way more and throwing more plus donaire's face was marked up...................petition time
Compubox is a load of shyte, if you use that to score fights you really know **** all about scoring
Will he ever surpass Mayweather, Jones, or Hopkins? He's still young and getting better every fight...Will he develop the ring IQ and skill of Mayweather, Hopkins, or Jones?
no, he got beat on by an average PDL, why people are so high on this guy i dont know, his skill set is not even comparable to any of the guys you mentioned, the kid doesn't even have his own personality, he can get his pa to comb his hair all he wants it still wont make him cool and soon enough he will have to step up, and thats when he gets beat
Dirrel wont go far wrong with Mayweather, he'l get decent fights and decent money, what more could he want(apart from him and Ward avoiding each other)
