it is simply this...
IF U FIGHT IN AN UNORTHADOX SOUTH PAW STANCE YOUR RIGHT FOOT(TOES ESPECIALLY) HAS VERY LITTLE TO DO WITH ANYTHING.
to punch u plant on his left foot. to step back u plant on your right HEEL.
very weak excuse.\
especially considering how much he ran
no i was "poisoned" is
doesnt matter about excuses. haye had the sorriest performance i have seen in a title fight for quite some time. run, run, run. what a b!tch
did i see "pactards"????
wtf is wrong with some people. manny is up there with the greatest fighters in history - EASILY! floyd is his btch and has been. he knows it. if floyd wants to be a man, he will fight pac. if not - enough goddamned discussion already.
nice look into hopkin's boxing mentality. quite a basic crash course though. type of stuff you should be told within your first month in your respective fighting art.
can definitely see hopkin's love for the sport come through though. it's like that with any of us who stick to a fighting art or sport for years. you can always tell the people who love what they do because it looks like they can talk endlessly about it, and almost seem like they are trying to convey things faster than they can say. i have been guilty of that too.
still interesting to see though.
aww, what? i completely missed this ****. seemed like a cool dude from when i chatted with him on here and PMs.
well, RIP. getting too used to saying that, dammit!
does anyone really give the princess a chance here? cause, those who do, pass dat sh#t over here!
pac steamrolls the bum. yes, i said bum! deal wit it.
i would say hell no! of course pac, and the klitschkos are exceptions. i know these 3 train a helluva lot. the brothers train in between fights. pac looks like he does something to stay so sharp.
martial artists, and chinese opera peeps are among my most dedicated list. if u dont know, nothing i care to say to convince ya.
too much twisting and manipulating goin on here. of course someone like Diaz will say he is on steroids. but, pac never disagreed to testing as far as we know, right? just to testing on the immediate day before the fight. that, i have no problem with and it is not suspicious in any way, since pac did agree to be tested days before the fight.
i dont see pac making a big deal about anything. it seems a few other jealous boxers are.
which pac are we talking about? and which whitaker? pac now, with his increase in boxing ability, would dispatch of sweet pea. and that isnt even a doubt for me.
mayweather fans are about as delusional as haye fans.
treust me, there is a reason pbf is ducking manny. no excuse of money or tests or promotional conflicts can hide that if you just open your eyes.
floyd knows. why don't floyd fans?
The eb and flow. You can realy get caught up in the drama of boxing more. In MMA, everyone is always looking for the quick ending. You don't get the chance to get your emotions really invested in the match like boxing.
It's also good to know that the guys you are watching have probably dedicated their lives to their craft, instead of being mediocre to a couple of different martial arts.
The limitations with what you can do in a boxing match really puts an emphasis for the boxers to hone their craft to perfection... opposed to mma where it is just too ****ing sloppy. It's infuriating to watch them do stand up.
Good to know that the champions in boxing didn't just take up the sport 3 years ago like the UFC current Heavyweight Champion.
Anyone here do mma or Jiu Jitsu? I do Jiu Jitsu, but I could realy care less about MMA. I could watch a Jiu Jitsu fight all day though for the technique, but boxing will always be my first love... Hagler-Hearns FTMFW!
Go to an MMA gym or in your part of town then go to a boxing gym like I do. It's is completely evident where the real athletes train at. Don't mean to sound racist, but the ethnic people tend to train at the boxing gyms, while the Caucasians train at the tough guy image, mohawk, tatoos, affliction wearing mma/bjj/muay thai gyms.
good post, except for the part about where athletes train. that comment is retarded. sorry to say. i dont mean to be harsh, but, there are a fair number of in shape mma guys and a fair number of out of shape boxers.
i agree with most points though. boxers tend to define their craft to jmore extremes while mma sportists take up several areas and many times are only somewhat good at just one aspect. it takes a lot, i mean a lot of time to be good at multiple arts - which is what ufc and so on are. they are sports combat which uses a multiple fighting art platform, but uses them in a sportive environment.
that is the main reason why i like boxing a bit more - the art is taken more in depth.
oh, btw, other martial arts dont exactly have tattooed white posers in it quite so much as u may think. i cant speak for the bjj/mt or kb - mma crowd though.
chae8400 said it well.
who knows what was wrong, but has wlad ever taken a suden turn like that in a fight?? hell no!
even in the sanders fight, wk kept on popping up. now that was a legit victory over wlad as wlad was too much into the bunnies at the time. wk's mental composition cost him the fight, not his chin or physical weakness. not anything other than distraction and the thought that he could walk right over sanders.
and for the morons on here, purrity didnt khtfo! he was on his feet for sh*ts sake! just a young under experienced fighter. his 20th or 25th fight i think. and that was back when u eeded over 25 fights ti get a title shot - unlike haye who gets like 2 fights! thats BS!
i knew something was wrong with wlad, and thats all i will say. disagree - then watch more boxing.
and as said, brewster barely landed anything. even then, then afterwards he tripped over the ref in his way to his corner as the ref was in his walking path. watch the tape and learn children.
all i will say is that wlad was not wlad that night. no conspiracy theory, just knowing. and observation.
well, being a guy who is in the know....i told close friends abut "something" wrong before the fight started.
so yeah, i do "believe" something was the cause of Wk's loss unrelated to lamon brewster's punching.
that's all im saying. take that as u will.
He punched himself out and he's a *** for making that excuse. But we already knew he was a ***.
oh, stop u wannabe pundit.
have u ever fought in a match? ever even trained?
shit like that doesnt just happen! too rediculuos for me to comment on!
now, we all know u as "hater".
yeah, byrd would ko rjj. :P
seriously, byrd with the 4th round tko at cruiserweight. i wonder how fast he will move up in the rankings.
its not everyday a heavyweight moves down to cruiserweight with possible shot at a title soon.
jin mosley came here?? awesome!
dammit, i couldve chatted in korean with jin! i like jin. she seems cool.
what about iceman john skully? nobody mention him???
and i am personally unhappy that nobody mentioned me! u all can suck my hose ya bastards!
do they have the klitschkos in this game???
if not, that would be just retarded.
im just curious as they are my fave heavies of the last 20 years+ and are the pivitol guys in the division. they are not accredited enough. so i am curious.
damn, better be some vitali in this game, or at least wladimir. im kinda wondering how there can be a heavyweight without them.
i would make the list more expanded. and include some older fighters. some before ali's time i mean.
and i would add both walcott and marciano so that you could play a fair matchup that easily by picking just these two.
yeah, we know rock won, but i consider jersey joe about an equal - if there were 12 round fights walcott would have beaten rocky. and rocky was dropped and almost ko'd by walcott - thats why i think they are about equal. except rock had a bigger, more known career.
his next fight? aside from getting off of the couch?
he is making his "big" return, yeah?
honestly, he is done with boxing. he likely will not make an impact. i would be surprised if fox network would pick up his fights.
That's Girlie Malignaggi you're about. Pacman got his a$$ whooped twice early in his career, clocked by JMM good but never went down, and you probably saw what happened to JMM's 2 latest victims. He just keep coming for more. He knows he's in the hurt business, he'll be more than happy to return the favor. I just hope the turnbuckle won't be in the way this time to spoil the fun...
personally, i dont see pac's early career as relevent in any way or form. he is completely different fighter.
and i have seen every fight of pac's since 2000. and some before then too. way different.
pac's speed as i dont see hatton as a huge puncher. he can bang, yeah, but floyd already decked him and tszyu dropped him too. so, i think pac can drop hatton if he gets in a rhythm.
i wonder if hatton will try to smother pac like he tried with tszyu. and how well the referee will respond if he does.
thnx for these pics. my connection so so f'ing slow,
it is like the klitschko fight killed the internet for a while lol.
klitschko is back on top! yeah! i love the way he was just toying with peter!
