He had his shoe off ready for an excuse. That was pretty funny. Add that to the blatant flopping and you have a pretty **** performance from Haye. And UK sportsbooks had Haye as a favorite?! Craziness.

"Bad socks" (Pacquiao), "IT BURNS!!!" (Devon Alexander), and "I had to take a s**t" (Clottey) are probably worse. But this was pretty bad. I've boxed with plenty of foot/leg injuries, including a sprained ankle which was probably a very bad idea. Of all of them, a dislocated toe was the least painful. I felt it, but it didn't stop me from setting up punches. It just hurt like hell. I'm pretty sure they medicated Haye's before the fight, so there's no way he felt it to the point where it didn't allow him to set up. That's bulls**t.

Also Lewis said that if the pinky toe was broken 3 weeks ago and Gayevid had a shot for it and bandaged it, it shouldn't have given him any problems... Gayevid looked very nimble to me... Is the most pathetic excuse ever? I know there were a couple of other ones - "vaseline got in my eye", but I think this one ranks up there... LOL, I would actually believe that more than a d@mn broken pinky toe - bandage that biatch up and get a shot, professional athletes do it all the time, but he had to make an excuse, even though he said "no excuses" before the fight

I've had broken pinky toes... after a week you can't feel it anymore. I'm sure everyone on this forum who's ever broken their pinky toe knows this excuse is BS.
