Barrera has always been more skilled than Marquez prime for prime and Manny crushed Marco. I see where your going with this though..........
ALWAYS.......The flaw is that you state that Marco is more skilled than JMM prime for prime. However, you don't say if Pac crushed Prime Marco. You just say Pac crushed Marco. You are the real troll Bro.:bottle::thinking:
JMM has been one of the best fighters that has been marginalized by certain boxing interests due to his boxing style and skill. The guy should have been included in the Baerra & Morales sweepstakes but was kept out by certain boxing interests (promoters). Now internet experts consider him a second rate fighter because he did not get an oppotunity to showcase his talents vs these Legends. The truth is that Team Pac knows better, as they refused to fight JMM again at super Featherweight or even Lightweight in order to see who the real victor was. Pac instead choose favorable straight ahead fighters (the least regarded champion at Lightweight), weight drained fighters or boxers that were coming of brutal KO's. Fact is JMM KO'd the guys that Pac ignored in order to fight the favorable matchup (D Diaz/hahahahah). :bottle: Go figure.

this couldn't be more wrong.
Why would I need to go watch those fights when I caught them live when they first happened? Unlike you I actually follow the sport of boxing. I'm starting to think you don't even know who Barrera is and have him mistaken for some other Mexican fighter...smh. BTW this is my last reply to you troll.
You must have been sitting behind someone's bodyguard or Opra, because you apparently failed to see what transpired.
You state that Barrera is superior to JMM and Pac crushed Barrera.
I state I believe a Prime Barerra is superior to JMM.
My Point has been and has not changed is that Pac did not fight a Prime Barrera making the that satement or point moot.
JMM giving Pac such a hard time then would seem to play into the fact that Barerra was not the same fighter and probably past his prime/peak.
Caught you in a slip and now I am a Troll. Facts are the facts chief.
The problem was that you missed the point that I made.....Pacquiao fought a faded Barerra, not the top notch Barerra. Fighting and looking good against faded fighters and weight drained fighters doesn't put on par with boxers that had to make real jumps in order to win a new belt against the top guns in the next weight. You guys are delusional.:bottle:
The guy did not look the same in that fight since the begining of the fight. He hit the wall and never has never really reverted to his previous form. Go see the fights an quit insulting analyts. The truth or Reality sometimes bites chief. You need to take truth with a grain of salt and accept it. :boxing:

Honestly you are nothing but a troll (a worthless one at that) with an agenda. Barrera wasn't in his prime when he faced Pacquiao in the first fight? GTFOH with that b.s. Why I even tried to have a serious boxing discussion with dumba$$ like you is beyond me.

The honest, 100% God No Steroids Congroidsman was already admitted to a hospital for "stomach ulcers". A side effect?
That's BS, he just had a bad batch of Sushi. The doctor signed off on it. :banghead:
Manny doesn't eat sweet peas. According to Freddy cockroach he's only on that 'Magic Jesus Rice' 100% God, no steroids.
Time will tell who took steroids. The guys juicing will have health side effects even if they credit the problems to other factors or illnesses. Divine justice for the cheaters.
They were both Champs in I, thus both would benefit from a win by picking up the opponents belt & proving they were the best Super Featherweight.
In II JMM was the champ and Pac was looking for the Super Featherweight belts. Pac fought JMM for his benefit since he was the challenger, not becasue Team Pac & Two Faced "A" gave Marquez a chance.

Since we both agree that Barrera is a better fighter than JMM why did you attack my reply we we both see eye to eye on that point? This isn't a flame but all I stated concerning Marquez is Barrera is more skilled IMO.
FWIW not to spark a debate but you have to admit that Pac gave JMM a chance when no other top fighter was willing to do so.

Nontheless, I believe a Prime Barrera would have beaten JMM.
When you compare Barerra, Morales & JMM at their peak.....Barerra was the best fighter of the three. Morales did not win vs Hammed, Pacquiao was being carefully matched up by his Team and JMM was not liked by certain Promoters thus not offered the top fights (i wonder which ones).
On the otherhand I believe JMM has always been underated and underappreciated by many fight fans. The problem is that Promoters kept their fighters away from him becasue they knew he would be a difficult fight with little to gain for their fighters.

Sweet Pea by a K.O.? and you guys are saying that u've been watching boxing for more than what 10,20, 30 yrs? Sweet Pea had no chance knocking out PacMan even if they fight 5 times. in Manny's prime did you see him getting knock down? if Manny's today will fight Sweet Pea in his prime its anybody's ball game. don't even dare saying Manny has no chance. Manny's power has been proven over and over again. his chin has been tested in a welterweight division. to say that Pacquiao has no chance against Whitaker is just RETARD. Sweet Pea ain't even a big puncher.
Just out of curiousity who is more skilled, in your opinion, between a prime Barrera and a prime Marquez?

By the time Barerra fought Pac, he had taken on Morales on twice in brutal wars. On top of that he fought all the guys you spoke of (Hammed, nice ass whipping).
I said after the Morales fights NOT the First Morales fight. Come on bro, looks like fruedian slip on your behalf.
Nontheless, I believe a Prime Barrera would have beaten JMM. Prime Barrera vs Pac would have been a great fight, too bad he was not the same fighter. Team Pac, Roach & Arum babied Pac and looked for the right opportunites for him to fight. They have always looked for weight advanatges, looked for fighters that are slipping or looked for fighters that have come off brutal beatings. They refused to fight Morales at a higher weight for II when Morales was having trouble making weight. sought Barerra when he was slipping. Just my two cents worth.

Yeah, I don't quite put Marquez in Barrera's league. Or Morales' for that matter.
You said, indirectly, that Barrera wasn't the same after those Morales fights. If that was the case explain his run after the first fight and also for sh1ts n giggles explain his run after Pacquiao a fight you claim he was shot leading into.

Key word being ALWAYS my friend. Go back and read you intial post.
