This would be a competitive FOT candidate. ppl are selling cotto short. he's quicker than pavlik and a better counter puncher boxer than williams and cintron.
Williams also has a loss to Quintana, and should have had a loss in the first Martinez fight. Phillips was old and wasn't highly regarded at the time. The Margarito fight was in 2007, 3 1/2 years ago.
Williams has been overrated on the P4P lists. I thought it was ridiculous that Rafael had him at #3 and the Ring had him at #5.
Who did you have ranked ahead of him besides Marquez?
Sergio kicked his ass TWICE but only got 1 W for it....how much more proof is needed to see that Paul does NOT belong in the top 10 p4p....he's a VERY mediocre fighter at best :boxing:
I STILL can't believe some dudes was sayin' he would beat B.Hop a while ago....shame on yall for that!!!
Name ten fighters you have ranked above Williams. A loss to Martinez shouldn't take him off the list neither does it propel a bnch of fighters above him because of his resume.;
Floyd Mayweather
Juan M Marquez
Manny Pacquiao
Sergio Martinez
Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
Andre Ward
Carl Froch
Giovanni Segura
Tim Bradley
Paul Williams
---------------
Montiel, Lopez, Moreno, Klitschko, Gamboa, Donaire
no glen johnson????????????? fix the list greezy
I didn't include him because he's still in the tournament but you can include him in your list. And I'll add him to my revised one.
Come on, you are smarter than this. It's about HOW he did it and how he looked. He was confused by simple movement that Shane was giving him. Not to mention he showed how easily he could be countered by any good counter puncher. Actually Shane didn't really "expose" much, because all of this was "exposed" by Marquez. But this is supposed to be Pac 3.0 and he still shows showed that he can easily be confused by movement. Mosley's awful jab was even giving him some problems.
Maybe he's not

he says after that joe lipsey
Good find man, forgot about Podcenter recording certain segments. ESPN could have so much potential if its analyst actually were knowledgeable and followed boxing.
bradley is too small. floyd is too strong for bradley.
This is false Bradley doesn't have that much time left @140. All that muscle on him he barely makes 140. And it doesn't matter the size..he's going for the biggest fight if its Khan, Alexander, Bradley, Ortiz, Berto, Williams, Martinez, Cotto, or Clottey
Why does everyone assume he will be the only with 2 points at the end of stage 3? And if he is not nobody knows the tie-break mechanism that wasn't officially announced
Martinez will have to rematch Pavlik and defend against Williams after he takes care of Cintron. These guys are done @ 154 they have a lineal ring belt at stake @160 for more money involved. Actually everyone else might move up to get a crack at it
As I heard it the tiebreaker is based on the number of rounds won. That would put Dirrell quite high given his close loss to Froch.
that would give dirrell an advantage over kessler, abraham, froch, or green if he's tied w/ any of them as of now
You can say you want to continue the fight all you want... If you lie down forever and let ppl put you in a stretcher like you are paralyzed and don't tell ppl you are fine and act like it, they are going to call off the fight. He complained about not getting five minutes. Anybody clock how long he was laying on the ground?
Chill winston, it was a freaking joke.
FWIW I don't think he was acting in the Abraham fight.
OK Bro, I just didn't find it funny I thought Dirrell almost went out like McLellan that night man. But its all good man lol
The same thing Dirrell suffers from.
You just proved how much of an idiot you are...comparing someone who was on their knees and punched by one of hardest p4p punchers in the sport defenseless to someone who fell out of their ring and couldn't move until he heard he lost the decision
