So about 30 seconds of Foreman pushing is comparable to Khan pushing, elbowing, headlocking, holding behind the neck, holding the glove on the refs blindside, hitting on the break, ignoring refs warnings even after point deductions non-stop for twelve rounds?
Grasp at more straws.
Khan didn't simply get points taken for pushing. He was spoiling all the time.
If he simply pushed and fought an otherwise very clean and respectable fight, the ref would have reason to be more lenient, but Khan was acting like most of the rules of boxing dont apply to him, acting like the ref had no authority and yet still expected the ref to save him every time Peterson got inside.
Genuine talk there !!!!:fing02:
He showed no respect for the refs warnings. That elbow that push Peterson down was on purpose. Stop trying to throw Lamont a compliment to mask the fact that you missed that one and refuse to right your ship.
Dude if you read my previous comment you'll see that I never once said that Amir didn't do any of those things but I don't agree that he put his knee behind Lamont on "purpose" as well as using his elbow to drop him. As far as me trying to mask anything, stating someone fought well isn't masking fúck all as it's the truth. By the way the ref was right next to them when the elbow was thrown yet still missed it and called it a knockdown further evidence of the poor quality of the Referee.
People trying to use older fights to say the pushing wasn't anything are stupid. Rules change, sports change. As the human body continues to develop into bigger and stronger beings, the rules and the safety of the competitors do as well.
Look at the NFL for example, went from leather helmets to shock absorbent reinforced polycarbonate what-have-you.
To be fair, the pushing wasn't too bad, but it was blatant enough to get the referee's attention. Khan should've gotten the hint with the first deduction, he's lucky the ref didn't take another point for pushing Peterson's head down so frequently as well.
For Khan to say he was the clean fighter, yeah right!
The rules haven't changed though and neither had the interpretaton of the rules until this fight.
There's no other recent fight where a guy has lost 2 points for pushing off.
It's not dangerous its just an outside guy making room for himself. , its just a tactic thats always been used.
Other refs aren't going to crack down on pushing off from now on. There was no mention from the governing bodies that pushing off would be looked on harshly from now on, as happens in other sports.
Its not consistant with other fights. Consistency from game to game or fight to fight is what an official should aim for.
People are carrying on like he bit someones ear off.
Why didn't Foreman ever gey points taken off? He was pushing Fraziar(sp) like crazy!

Watching that video, I saw half of the time Petersons head was on Amir Khans chest... that is basically a headbutt.
I have a riddle.........What makes you :lol1::lol1:, say :wtf1: and do this http://i30.tinypic.com/30cbwo8.jpg at the same time???????? You guessed right!!!!! A dumbass response from this guy!!!!!!
Points taken off or no points taken off, Khan won the fight by a wide enough margin for it not to matter.
The Puerto Rican judge scored it right, the two American judges....well you know what way they went.
Btw, Khan is stupid to agree to fight in Peterson's back yard, at a venue which hasn't held boxing for 20 years, with an American ref, and two American judges in America.
It's no wonder he got robbed.
i had it 114 -111 even with the point deductions, i thought rounds 1-8 were pretty straight forward. Shouldnt be much descrepancies. I had khan winning the last 4 rounds although some could give the 9th round to peterson.
Khan / promoters RETARDED for doing this fight outside las vegas with so much at stake.

and you're basically a moron.
hahahahahaha No doubt. WTF?
Its right there in the slow mo highlights..............
-Khan throws a straight and barely connects
-Peterson throws a counter left hook that connects hard
-Peterson tries to back up to the left while Khan throws more pitty pat misses
-Khans knee bashes into the side of and gets behind Petersons legs
-Khan uses his elbow to push Peterson(s face) down while he's tripping over his leg
-Khan is awarded a knockdown.
Again, it's all there in the slow mo replay......
Actually screw it, I uploaded it.
Nobody is denying that it didn't happen but to say all that was done intentionally? Khan aint that good! do you honestly believe khan could manage those sequence of events to produce the only knockdown of the fight?
But simply put, Lamont fought a brilliant fight but the ref was bias! All I heard was khan khan khan khan khan khan, I mean shìt that ref must've been shouting khan when he was home fúcking his wife later that night! He turned a great fight into a mess, people unfortunately aren't talking about the great fight but rather the bullshìt that occurred. And it's a shame. I can only hope ward froch fight has an experienced ref like smoger or weeks or bayless and that it's another great fight like cotto margarito.
Did you miss the point that this video was making? Peterson didn't repeatedly break the rules and ignore the ones in which he was warned for. Khan did.
That usually means the ref is going to keep warning you and take points off, and if you keep doing it then he will keep warning you and take more points off. It's a pretty simple concept. One that I thought you might have learned by now....clearly not.
Watching that video, I saw half of the time Petersons head was on Amir Khans chest... that is basically a headbutt.
You have got to ..... ah forget it. :pat:
His performance was not consistent in itself. The only thing he was consistent in was his over-zealous officiating of Khan. He didnt warn Peterson once.
Go watch it again mate. Peterson got warned for low blows and to keep his head up, even though he wasn't putting it down to shove into Khan's face. Another thing people are missing here, Peterson got a point wrongfully taken off, so Khan really only lost one point.
Khan was given a freebie.

I feel like an idiot for replying to your other thread.
Clearly not worth the time of day.
