They might be close but not THAT close. Most guys who become successful pro athletes are extremely competitive, Ward wouldn't let Dirrell win a game of Madden.

Well there's a possibility that Kessler and Green won't win a fight, so he might not have to, or that one of them will only win one (not by KO, and the other loses both) and him and Dirrell I guess would have to fight to determine the final 4th. Edit, then the ton of rounds Dirrell won against AA and the 4 or 5 he won against Froch should seal the deal.

Absolutely not a chance in hell. Ward has said for years now his goal is to retire undefeated, that is a serious goal of his, there is no way he'd give that up just so his friend could advance to the next round. I wonder if you the Super 6 rules would allow for Ward to in essence forfeit the fight giving Dirrell automatic points.

I don't think so. Ward doesn't seem like that type. He seems to hungry for that, and has not lost since he was like 12 years old in the amatuers. They also made a deal to forget there friendship for one night, and give it all they have.
