the prince would do a shimmy dance with his legs and then pac would connect with a straight left and then hamed and his whole body would be shimming in unison while laying prone :op: the prince was entertaining but his antics would be a detriment in a pac fight.

love pac but that superhero costume is the worst i've ever seen. :Flush: who was the babe in the bikini? :la:

punching power only matters if and when it connects. cotto has power but never landed anything solid to cause pacman any discomfort. pacman showed his time and time again, so with his accuracy and speed of his bombs, you get results like what happened on the 14th. :notworthy
the fairyweather's will claim that jmm drank pacman's urine :bottle: and demand they fight for the 3rd time to see who has "clear" ownage of the title piss for piss fighter of the world.

top 50 yes but top 1-15 hell no for one reason alone pac has not defended his belts enough to get that low
pacman seeks out the best out there. they happen to be people in different weight classes. he'd easily defeat contenders for his belt so that argument doesn't fly.
pac is crazy. he's promoting his own concert right now to go to mandalay bay. i don't think he's even gonna see a doctor or not, just leave the podium and head straight to the stage. lol :pat:
give cotto a break. he was getting his azz kicked, trying to survive. i admit he wasn't trying to win but to say he quit is a disservice to him as a man.
nah, cotto got;em a few times but most of his shots did'nt really get through with much force, as you can see post-fight pacquiao did'nt have a scratch on 'em
than you must not have seen his press conference. he had a headwrap covering his ear and had marks under both eyes. he also had a swollen right hand. but maybe its best you didn't see it because manny also sang too. :lol1:
Look no reason to cry over spoiled milk. That round was just to test the waters. Round 4 served as a real measuring stick, to what both fighters could bring that night.
I expected Cotto to win, I bet money on it. I was wrong, Manny has this gift in throwing bombs in between steps. Conventional boxers simply do not expect to be hit so hard and fast on their blind spots.
totally agree. pac hits guys coming in with speed shots that others don't anticipate. he does so by taking measured steps backward and then exploding on his unsuspecting opponent. on the second knockdown of cotto, miguel threw a left hook and was set to throw a right. but manny stepped back from that hook and came forward with a right and then left uppercut before cotto's right could even come forward. amazing speed by pacman. :smileysex

cotto does not want anything to do with pacman anymore. he felt his power and saw his speed, why would he want to repeat another beatdown. also you need to have made a fight out of the 1st one to warrant a rematch. he'll probably go ahead and fight sugar shane again. :kabong:

Dancing with the Stars doesn't have a spot open for him. He'd be good though, he knows how to choose certain dance partners that he wants to swing with. :pat:
honestly, floyd+shane=bad ppv numbers. they share the same audience and ethnic demographics. they'll be lucky to get 1m ppvs.
it will be an event in the united states but not anywhere else.
perhaps but i think the curiosity of it might entice viewers around the world to peep the fight. i could see it doing 1 million buys or so. not more than pac-cotto that's for sure. when he doesn't do as well he'd have to accept a 55-45 split for pac but first he has to beat sugar which is no guarantee

there always yuri foreman for pac
i don't think that helps pac because ppv numbers wise it won't be as high. he should either wait for mosely or fairyweather or just lay low in the motherland and get some more :booty:

cotto's confidence was obviously shaken by the knockdowns but the fact that pacman was sitting on the ropes daring cotto to hit him, and when he did, it having no affect must have shattered his belief system. :crying:
its the manny effect. we look so forward to his bouts and performances that everything else pales in comparison. that just shows how big manny has become and anything he's involved in is a must see affair and should be treated as something special. :fing02:
pacman was intent on finishing him off. he landed like 3 quick shots to start the round and bayless was following them around looking for the slightest hint of trouble. this fight definitely lasted longer than it should have. :killyou:

this young lady should have been included for the filipina side. miss jenny hendrix gets my vote. :hitit: :boxing:
not a chance: if pac wins he goes into the political role..if mayweather wins he says "I told you so"
i wouldn't be surprised if there's a trilogy. i predict a draw for this fight with huge controversy which will result in a rematch, then a 3rd to settle things once and for all. :burnout:

i was there and the tv broadcast doesn't tell the whole story. it looked empty on screen but there was tons of people there walking around and such. the thing was, the LA Galaxy were playing at the same time and the field is only 100 yards or so away from the ring. so basically people were doing both and just soaking up the vibe. plus traffic was really bad with two events going on at the same time. i'd say all in all, there was over 30,000 people or so in the home depot center at one time, with many more stuck in traffic and in the parking lots.
i saw evander holyfield there and he was shaking hands with peeps. also vic the brick jacobs was there and that cat is loony, but he loves his sports and he knows his boxing.
Toney's boxing opinions counts just as much as those fighters you mentioned.
Every body has their own opinions on who is going to win that fight, most boxers say Mayweather but what Toney says is interesting about the angles and speed thing because Pacquiao has never fought such a defensive fighter like Floyd so it's a two way street.
are you kidding, pac fought the greatest defensive fighter ever. the ninja turtle joshua clottey.

the back peddling is complete. marquez knows what manny knows. no need to get blasted and have 3 losses to one man. if he wanted it he could have jumped ship but he never really wanted it so now he gets to fight people he can have a chance with.
