Sure why not. may be at 2011, when both of them have another 3-4 fights, they can rematch eath other.

Im not desperated but if the fight make good money for both fighters and the fight was good. why not do it again gatti and ward did it 3 times for a lot less money. Cotto can be great again without fighting Pacquiao. He can beat the top WW easily, Mosley, Berto, etc....I think he still have 2-3 years left to reign as the WW king. Manny will retire after the Floyd fight....

I think Cotto has had his fill of the WAPAKMAN brand of a can of whupass. I'd like to see Cotto-PLASTERMAN II.

There might be a possible rematch, but not right away and depends on a lot of things from the Cotto camp. He needs a renowned veteran trainer, and after that a couple of fights to get used to it. That can probably take anywhere between one and two years to be ready for a possible rematch with Pacquiao, provided that he wins all his tune-up fights and dominates convincingly any A-class fighter after that. If he manages to do that, and if it is noticeable that with his new trainer Cotto is evolving as an overall better boxer and worked on his weaknesses, then I can see a very competitive rematch to be possible. He started off good in the fight, but switched to the wrong game plan to exchange. It's a shame because it was a winnable fight. There are no excuses, he was in top shape. But by then if Cotto ever comes ready again Pacquiao may have retired already.

If Pacquiao gets destroyed by Mayweather or whoever he fights next and Cotto beats win his next fight and then he beats Mosley or Margarito I could see it happening in 2011. It will be a good payday for both fighter but only if Cotto could win a tune up fight and a good fight with a top opponent like Mosley, Berto, Hatton, Cintron or Margarito. It was a war. both fighter were trading punches. It was not a boring fight. Some fights that ended in Knock outs and they had a rematch after. 1. Corrales vs Casamayor 2. Castillo vs Corrales Do you guys think that they should have a rematch maybe in a year or so? Rematch will sound good at 147lbs.....

He needs to stop bending foward; that diminishes his height and exposes him for uppercuts. He needs to work on the right hand, he should tie up his left arm for about a month and use his right. Listen, that stance has got to go because Pacquiao's punches come from under and Cotto couldn't see them due to his stance. That stance doesn't allow the opponent to work for his shots because you're pretty much always gonna be in reach. Factor in the stamina and he'll be good. But before I say all this, take 2 tune ups and try to rid the demons by beating Margarito in a rematch. Seriously, you sound like you want Joe Santiago's job. :D

Cotto needs a break. And a better trainer. Roach, Floyd, anybody really. Cotto's current trainers aren't helping. It sucks because Cotto is a fighter with some much potential.

Left hand down and right hand in front of his face. He could do that with slow opponents but many is too quick on his feet. Stamina in this fight was worst than ever.
