JMM
Lomachenko's style is similar to Pacquiao's, though not as explosive. Marquez's counterpunching is due to the mixture of eastern european and cuban influences according to Nacho Beristain, só they would have him figured out, not easily however.
If that happened to everyone that would mean DAZN would be skimming 9.9mil a month from people's accounts. Why can't they put a decent fight on?
Its a hell of a dent on a lot of its customers then. They shouldnt count on them coming back.
Sounds like you need to contact & be mad at Google then.
Google should be down for refunding you your money too doe.
I've been super careless with subs I ain't wanna keep in the past & have dealt with numerous companies with refunds & never had a problem with any of them giving me my money back. That said if you've had numerous issues with refunds with one company your results my vary.
Yes and I am upset with Google too for that useless setting on automatic payments. I asked Google for a refund & right now waiting for their reply. I appreciate your positive outlook man. **** Google for now though lol.
That's why I hate to sub to anything anymore and ask my wife to avoid "trial" subs. It's so damn common to get billed when you're not supposed to, then you gotta waste an hour of your time trying to get it resolved. It's happened so many times to me and I even set calendar alarms to make sure I cancel at least a couple business days in advance.
Youre right, I too now made It a habit to cancel days before the subscription ends. I learned a harsh and perhaps unnecessary message about subscriptions. Lol
Just talk to them & I'm sure it'll get resolved. Have had that happen with other companies before & it was a minor problem typically.
Oh trust me, Ive been talking to them for a while now. But they insist they dont have my money. Somehow Google hás a subscription setting that pays merchants regardless of your agreement with an app like DAZN. Its bad luck, I am never using DAZN again.
Facts.. I got an error with the canelo vs jacobs fight and couldnt stream it. They basically told me to kick rocks and ask google for it back. Disgusting. Of course google had no clue what i was talking about. They basically STOLE my $20
Im more or less in the same situation with you since i signed up when that fight went down. Theyre telling me the same thing to ask Google for my money. It looks like NOW they might be taking more steps to give me back my money. Ill keep you all posted.
Maybe you're not an adult that has ever bought a subscription or service on a credit card but this is a common thing that can happen with any number of services. I've had it happen with every gym membership I ever had. Recently with a streaming music service. Don't go dazn fanboy when the dude has a legit issue.
Thanks dude, I don't know why people have to act so triggered, all I asked if anyone else had issues with getting their money back. And by the way, I DID cancel on time with DAZN, Google or Paypal somehow kept sending them money monthly. Apparently they have a setting on any subscription app that is automatic.
Marquez definitely beat Norwood and John by at least two rounds each and deserved at least 3 Pacquaio wins. The Bradley fight at the arena I felt Marquez won but have scored it twice on TV and had it a draw each time. Bradley got a little too much credit from the commentary team and judges in that one.
Same, JMM was a faded warrior against Bradley, but it was no blowout for Bradley. The victory was a SPLIT decision, meaning there was an argument for both winning, but Marquez landed more meaningful shots and won on my scorecard. Anyways, both Sanchez and Marquez can be switched for 1st or 2nd for the beauty of their victories. For instance, Sanchez defeated two of the greatest fighters of their respective contries by KO, and his career was cut in half. A case can be made for either fighter on the best resume for Mexican fighters.
How much better would Andy Ruiz Jr be if he were to be trained by the man who helped mold JMM, Finito, Zaragoza, Chiquito, Roman, etc? Shed some of that weight and perfect his already good skills and he'd be a dangerous hombre. The Romanza Gym needs a HW fighter. What do you think?
Its funny i was wondering the same thing the other day. He would be an even better counter-puncher, his combinations and defense improved. Andy is raw talent and Nacho does best with that sort If fighter.
No he won't fight in 2018 and I think he is the third best welterweight with Spence being the best and Crawford the 2nd best. Beating Garcia and Porter by a couple of points doesn't make him the best welterweight. Brook came to America and beat Porter. Spence went to England and knocked out Brook. MAN DOWN!
Spence's victory was só emphatic, he should be considered the best at 147. Thurman is overrated, no way he belongs in the rankings, let alone hold a belt. He hás not fought in 19 months.
Is arum protecting crawford or crawford intentionally signed with top rank again to avoid the top fighter of the PBC?
A fighter who became undisputed and lineal (two division) champion is NOT a protected fighter
Indeed, Crawford is just so damn well-rounded is the best p4p fighter for me, oh and he switch hits. He look spectacular also in every win, there are welterweights that haven't looked spectacular like Crawford has (like Thurman vs Garcia), but your analysis is great and unbiased man! I'm not saying it's a landslide anymore for Crawford haha
If Jeff Horny made Pacquiao look old, these other three will wipe the floor with him. I hate saying that because I would love to see him beat Spence and Thurman.
Agree 100% with you man
When Pacquiao got the belt back from Bradley that would've been a great time to go for that belt. Porter I think would've been a bit much for him.
Agreed, no reason to have fought Alvarado.
Horn IS tailor made but it should still be a fight he could/should win.
Still the way he looked against alvarado, he could have given Manny a great right and he was still sharp enough to tango with Porter. Both would have been thrilling fights. At this stage, Marquez would edge the Hornet.
5th title
Marquez wanted that fifth division belt so badly, i dont know why he didn't go after Pacquiao, or a Bradley rematch, or even Porter when he was the IBF champion. He would sometimes choose the wrong fights and he wasted his time on mike Alvarado. He's probably too far gone to fight horn, but horn is tailor made for Marquez. He does better against pressure fighters. Horn isnt even at the level of Juan Diaz sort of fighter.
Practically every modern-day welterweight including Floyd would have lost to either four kings. They all have wins and losses in each other, and Hearns was the biggest puncher of them all. The lesser welterweights would not stand a chance with any of these four.
Terrence Crawford, undisputed and lineal champion at 140, twice fought the #2 guy there, and lineal/wbo champion at 135. He has so much thrust he's going to be equally great at welterweight. This is going to be controversial, but Kovalev can be argued has the best resume since he was unified and could have gotten the nod against Ward. That second fight was marred with controversy. But I'll have to declare Crawford's resume the best.
This is why a lot of the Mexican fan base has not been unanimous in backing Canelo. GIG is smart enough to seize the mantle of a "Mexican" warrior while in the meantime there isn't a figure as adored like Chavez Sr. or Marquez or Barrera were.
Which fighters are you referring to that defeated them? Prime for prime, any top welterweights but of the previous generation including Pacquiao and Mayweather would definitely have a loss on their record for fighting any of the four kings. Crawford would definitely have the best chance to beat any of them I agree. He's incredibly versatile and he hits pretty hard, he makes you pay dearly for every mistake. But Thurman, Porter, Garcia haven't shown the kind of versatility needed or the grit to defeat any of the 4 kings. They haven't passed the eye test, I'd give Spence the best chance because of his size. Floyd would have to be ultra defensive by the way against Duran and Hearns. He was once a super featherweight so you're correct. Either way, these historical comparisons don't do much for us, they always divide the fans.
And don't forget
Marquez and its not close.
Marquez is close to ATG status. Cotto was just a standard belt holder level guy
Marquez was also lineal champion at lightweight and UNIFIED, something Cotto has never come close to. Cotto was steamrolled by Pacquiao and Marquez was Pacquiaos kryptonite. No debate about it.
Credit due
kind of apt that his final fight was a night of embarrassment. Had plenty of it over the years, from being the last guy that pacquiao stopped (lets face it cotto basically quit in that fight), to getting on his knee against margarito, to losing 119-109 against trout, to the controversial win over clottey, to getting played with by canelo and mayweather. Ive never known an 'elite' fighter get whooped so often and so badly.
Cotto shouldn't receive so much flack in his fight against Canelo. Canelo was expected to knock him out being the younger, stronger fighter. Some even scored it for Cotto, even though Canelo son a very close fight. But indeed, Cotto isnt elite. He lost every single big fight he has had. If he won big it was because the other guy was disabled.
Great win and nice performance from El Gallo. His boxing skills was definitely shades of Juan Manuel Marquez who was a boxing artist. IMO I think Estrada is a better fighter than Canelo and deserves to be Top 5 P4P. I think it’s a shame that Estrada is not as popular as Canelo because of his weight class.
Hope to either see a final fight with Sor Rungvisai, or a match up with Donnie Nietes or Jerwin Ancajas in the future.
Eerily similar styles and stories. For the better or worse, he is under Canelo's shadow even though he is a much better fighter who clearly beat his opponent. Estrada is my favorite fighter today with a beautiful technique and an awesome victory. It could be argued he won his first match too against SSR. By the way, did anyone notice el Gallo looked like JMM in the weigh-in in profile view?
