I'm not going to lie but it was funny that he lost his retirement fight. However, the injury to his bicep played a big part in the loss. This is the one time I think Cotto should get a pass.

Credit due kind of apt that his final fight was a night of embarrassment. Had plenty of it over the years, from being the last guy that pacquiao stopped (lets face it cotto basically quit in that fight), to getting on his knee against margarito, to losing 119-109 against trout, to the controversial win over clottey, to getting played with by canelo and mayweather. Ive never known an 'elite' fighter get whooped so often and so badly. Cotto shouldn't receive so much flack in his fight against Canelo. Canelo was expected to knock him out being the younger, stronger fighter. Some even scored it for Cotto, even though Canelo son a very close fight. But indeed, Cotto isnt elite. He lost every single big fight he has had. If he won big it was because the other guy was disabled.
