These are white nationalist talking points dressed as reason so worth breaking down.
South Africa and Rhodesia were prosperous for the minority of white colonists. A small minority of colonists controlling African resources was no more morally justifiable than England controlling India. Note the parallels in how artificial borders were drawn in order to preserve control with bloody consequences for the natives.
You're hinting (but not directly saying) that a non-white majority will necessarily lead to the US's downfall (presumably due to some genetic defect in the non-whites that you won't directly express either). Even if that were true (which it isn't) you're neglecting to mention the entire global economy is largely geared towards US interests which allows it to control a disproportionate amount of global GDP which demands people come to it.
If you really want to stop migration to "white" countries you should support a more equitable distribution of global wealth, but people of your ilk never do. So get used to the migration.
It's not about moral justification, the reality is modern Zimbabwe is a hellhole whereas Rhodesia was not. Modern South Africa is heading in the same direction. The trajectory is, and has been downwards, and it will continue with once great countries reduced to warring tribal ruins.
With regards the US it's not the race (necessarily) that leads to US downfall, ideologically I'd prefer a capitalist black repub-lican to a white dem-ocrat (or indeed any racial variant of either) but the reality is the vast majority of minority groups vote for socialist parties which will only hasten the demise of the nation.
"equitable distribution" on a global scale sounds a lot like trotskyism
Edit: just to add, I don't think there's any defect in non-whites, there are some well-managed non-white nations like South Korea & Japan, and there are some not so well managed white nations notably in Eastern Europe, I think the issue is principally cultural, all cultures are not equal
elon would be proud that crawford is making more kids...except for the whole wrong race thing. ithen again what do you expect from a pro rhodesia maniac who thinks if whites become a minority they will be killed so they have to dominate the world to prevent that. wilder and crawford are his worst nightmares
Elon is South African so he has seen at first hand how it goes. As to Rhodesia, it was prosperous, whereas Zimbabwe is a borderline failed state, with SA now sadly heading the same way. With current trends, on a long enough timescale (perhaps not that long at all) America will suffer a similar fate.
Did I hear him tell some story about a toxic shampoo making his hair fall out and him getting his man to glue it on? Did I catch that right?
Is he just a bald guy wearing a wig?
clear win for ward..ward retired too early..He chose to go out with gift win over aging kovalev and avoided bivol and beterbiev..tough competition is why he retired..loved ward great fighter technically sound but he lost first kovalev fight and it's criminal the low lows he got away with in the rematch and won off a series of low blows. thought reff was gonna finally take points but he stopped the fight. we were all disgusted
Think Ward would have won the rematch anyway, Kovalev wasn't on it, had been on a drinking binge, not in sync with his coach etc.
Kovalev did win that first fight though.
In the end he's gonna have all 3 big names of this era on his resume. That's what he's going for. It's too bad that it will be the ghost of Wilder and not the prime version. But that's boxing.
Hey think of it this way. They "marinated" this fight for 10 years so look how big it's gonna be, right? It's boxing.
I think he's going for a payday, high reward, low risk. I don't really care tbh, I'll watch the good fights when they come along, ignore the mismatches.
Not really challenging aside from pac and even then he more than likely would win at that age.
Do you give any of those guys a chance to actually beat Crawford?
Back then, the scene was a lot different but it's not really the point, we wanted to see good fights with the biggest names and best fighters taking each other on. We didn't get that for a long time with Crawford, we did towards the end and it felt like too little, too late relative to his potential. Hey if you're happy, that's fine, I felt like we missed out really. He was capable of being a real global star.
Who are fighters Crawford could have fought that he didnt?
Pacquiao, Thurman, Garcia, Provodnikov, Broner, Mattthysse
His Top Rank stint was disappointing to say the least.
Crawford was too long not facing the best opponents, probably thanks to his promoter, but still. Top fighter, but didn't have the impact he could have had.
Speculation from people that have never sparred or fought GGG is much less interesting, do you have any qoutes from people that have traded shots with the GGG?
Peter Quillin: "I went to Golovkin's camp two years ago and got a lot of good rounds in. He didn't hurt me, I think I showed him I was a world class fighter then. I've sparred a lot of top guys, from Carl Froch to Macklin himself. Go ask those guys what they thought about me and what level they think I'm on"
Grzegorz Proksa: "The guy hits like a hammer. I tried everything, but it did not work. You have to give him credit, because he had a good handle on the situation and it was an honor to meet him in the ring. Even though I lost every round, I wanted to fight on. There is no reason for us to have avoided fighting him - and I think today I fought not only the best fighter in my weight class, but perhaps even in the pound for pound rankings."
There are about 20 active Heavyweights that rather see against Wlad than Ustinov or Tua... He's slipped in his opposition since Haye w/ the exception of Povetkin (who put up a surprise effort)...
If the ref in the Ustinov reffed Povetkin v Klitschko, Alexander would have knocked Wlad the eff out.
Oh I see. I always thought interim champ was kind of like Regular champ with the WBC. Robert Gurrero is a "6 time champion in 4 weight divisions" despite most of those being interim titles.
But if they don't enforce the rules, I don't mind them having Super Champ/Regular Champ. Because without it, the Lara/Trout winner will never get a world title shot because Mayweather won't fight them or won't be stripped. That's not fair to the guys that fight there way to become #1 contender.
I didn't realise that, they used it as a marketing line. How many legit titles has Guerrero won?
It depends on how the bout is refereed.
If it becomes an inside fight, Ward wins. If it stays on the outside, Golovkin has a decent chance (not saying he wins).
So Geale has a rematch clause to the winner of the Barker-Sturm fight in which if Barker loses he has a rematch clause versus the winner and then the winner of that rematch claused fight has to rematch Geale because he has a rematch clause against the winner of the second Barker-Sturm fight (unless Barker wins, in which case Geale exercises his rematch clause immediately) ?
This maybe explains it better than I can:
The fight has a rematch clause, pending a mandatory challenge between Barker and Germany's Felix Sturm, and Treacy said he hoped to secure a bout in Australia.
"We don't mind who wins between Barker and Sturm because Daniel will be ready for either and he will win the belt back," he said.
http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/newslocal/macarthur/boxer-daniel-geale-to-lodge-official-complaint-to-ibf-after-controversial-loss-to-darren-barker/story-fngr8ifg-1226699720665
I think you've got it right in your post though.
The problem here is once Hatton wins the WBA belt he would hold it hostage over here and then Murray would be feasting on cab drivers and part time school teachers. He would probably sell but then we wouldn't get to see the bigger fights until later.
Hatton sent Murray to Argentina and Germany, signed to have him fight in Texas and Australia and his next fight is in Monaco.
He says he wants Murray to get this world title so he can secure a Visa to fight in the US, yet you come with this nonsense?
Well he was too big a risk for Groves, and arguably won the first fight.
But Froch doesn't consider him good enough and Hearn won't match them because he has the hump at DeGale for turning Matchroom down in favour of Henessy.
I think Sturm is going to beat Barker, though... Doesn't Barker have a rematch clause?
He does, and I believe Geale has an option on the winner. I'm not certain Murray hangs around waiting if he gets a big offer from HBO or GBP in the meantime.
It is boring when one guys is doing what ever he wants while the other guy just can't do anything, he can't even land a clean punch
Do I blame Ward For That...FUK NO! THIS IS BOXING, great fighters find a way to deal with ALL STYLES, only person I see Push Ward Back and got Rough Inside with him was Sakio Bika, others just kinda allow him to Bully them inside because they never learned how to fight inside
Rodriguez wasn't going to be bullied on the inside either, but the ref wasn't having it.
To the OP, if you don't like it then don't watch it, because how else are you going to fix it?
90 percent of the people who buy the PPV don't care, they like the sound of it... then they'll use it in their stupid arguments.
We only have Pac to blame for this who sensationalized titles in different weight classes.
Dude hasn't even won a title at 140 yet. What... the IBO and Ring? Who cares?!?!
Pacquiao's a really bad example to use, everybody knows he was good enough. He could probably go down to 140 right now and destroy all the title-holders or at very least beat one of them. When people talk about Pacquiao or Mayweather as a multi-weight world champ, it's legit, Guerrero's situation is a little (or a lot) different. It's tantamount to lies really.
Defensively Ward feels more comfortable on the inside which is why his game is mostly based on getting in, tying his opponent up and working the other arm. He can't be touched, especially against those who can't fight on the inside. You can say he doesn't need to, you may very well be right but that Ward's comfort zone.
Fully agree. He like it in there lol, but if he stayed on the outside where he has been vastly superior to the likes of Abraham and Froch he would probably be a bigger attraction at this point.
I think people are missing the point GGG can adopt. He barely got hit in the first 2 rounds against Stevens. Only when he felt he can deal with his power easily, he turn it off and gone full 'killing mode'. I would say he almost doesn't care if he gets hit in the process. Sanchez said the same thing - that he needs to get some LHW or CW to make Gennady work on his defense.
If he is to fight Froch I guarantee his game plan would be much different. For the start he wouldn't need to take the opponent in the first 5 rounds not to be marked as 'exposed'.
Maybe man, maybe. Time will tell.
I don't listen to everything Sanchez says mind, I don't think he's shy about telling the odd porky here and there.
I actually won't chose many SMW to take out focused Stevens that fought Gennady.
Froch and Kessler would've buried him I think. Lying on the ropes like he did wasn't a good idea.
If I recall he's won 2 titles at feather and super feather. He was interim champ at 135 and 147.
And yes, they used that term to build the fight:
http://www.goldenboypromotions.com/news/six-time-and-four-division-world-champion-robert-the-ghost-guerrero-showed-determination-in-landing-/
Sneaky, although you could argue it's good promoting as 99% of people wouldn't bother to check.
Ward has always applied himself this way in the ring, should have been established a while back. He'll continue to rack up victories, I mean lets be honest here, who can compete with him?
Bernard Hopkins? lol.
Well I'm a fan clearly, and I don't really recognize that 8th as legit. But then I don't think DLH's 6th is legit either.
Which 8th? the JWW title or the JMW title?
