It used to track the lineage fairly well, and when not, they'd usually make the right call (no Erdei as Ring champ). In Hatton's case, no question. Not only that, but he'd just destroyed IBF champ Paulie IMO, in the end it doesn't matter because everyone recognizes him as an 8 division champ
