Kovalev : "Gennady hits like a sledgehammer".
Macklin: "Gennady is the best; better than Sergio".
Findley: "I’ve never been in with someone that powerful. It was unreal. He was extremely strong.”

Froch: "Golovkin ain't shit"
Bhop: "Tell him I'll make him my good white boy"
Martinez: "His fight with me will be his last"
Wlad: "I'll give him a pizza face"
Haye: "I'd make Golovkin look silly"
Here is a guy who sparred GGG. He knows about levels
funny reaction at 4:33 lol. Russ seems like a cool dude, I'll definitely be watching his fight with Macklin
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr:
"Golovkin and Geale are the best at 160lbs, Sergio Martinez is out. I believe that if Golovkin wanted to fight me at 168lbs, I could knock him out. There is no one else who could beat him out right now. I can also fight Golovkin at middleweight, but it would be better to fight him in the middle or at 168lbs because if I don't have to struggle with the weight and I go in the ring strong, I can knock him out."
i saw a sparring between this two, i think ggg will take it if it ever happen
two great body hunters by the way, it will be a war of whos body gives up first

Did Murray actually say that?
Yeah, on TV after Golovkin KO'd Macklin. He was joking ironically of course, as if to say he'd need a baseball bat. Golovkin's performance that night was like Pacquiao v Hatton, he looked unstoppable.
"How would you try to beat Golovkin?"
Martin Murray: "with a baseball bat."
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Daniel Geale: "He is deserving of credit, but he hasn't been tested against the top guys yet. If that comes up, I'll be ready for it".
Did Murray actually say that?
Rosado: that n*gga hit so hard I think Grant makes him special gloves made out of concrete yo
legit lol'd. Lol
Sam Soliman: "Golovkin would be lunch for me. If I fought him tomorrow he'd beat me, but if I get into perfect shape fitness-wise my style would beat him 100 times out of 100. The only way he'd beat me is if something freakish would happen."
Lmao!!!!!!!
Funny thing is, Team Soliman emailed K2 about making the fight in August. He could be Golovkin's February opponent.
I haven't watched much of him at all, but TBR have him at #8 and I think they're the best rankings so he must be okay.

Wladimir Klitschko:
"It is good that Golovkin’s fight will take place. He is a very talented fighter and I am sure that he will beat Felix Sturm next year if he dares fighting Golovkin.”
Fernando Guerrero:
“I saw his fight on HBO,” Guerrero said of Golovkin’s five-round destruction of Grzegorz Proksa in September. “I guess he can punch. He can punch, but don’t forget, I’m a puncher, too, and I can box. I’d test that when I most likely get in the ring with him if I get the fight. Other than that I didn’t see anything special.
“This is a fight that I would definitely want. If my advisor Al Haymon wants it, I would want the same thing, too. I’m O.K. with whatever. If he’s the next opponent, so be it.”
Amir Khan: I got the chance to see Golovkin train last year and was really impressed by his offence. Unfortunately I didn't meet him as I caught his eye during a combination. This triggered a condition I've developed whereby I blink even when not in the direct line of a punch - resulting in me walking into the gym pillar rendering me un-concious. I'm told this is nothing to worry about and just a natural defence system. I look forward to meeting with Golovkin properly, and who knows, perhaps climbing in the ring with him.

Manny Pacquiao: I love GGG's style. He's a killer like me.
Sugar Ray Leonard: Gennady is a great ambassador for the sport.
Floyd Mayweather Sr: **** that *****!
Floyd Mayweather Jr: What my dad said.
Now lets read a quote from Pirog if anyone can find him.
Whatever happened to him ? He was supposed to Sergio's biggest threat circa 2010-2012. Last I heard, WBO stripped him of his title.
Speculation from people that have never sparred or fought GGG is much less interesting, do you have any qoutes from people that have traded shots with the GGG?
Peter Quillin: "I went to Golovkin's camp two years ago and got a lot of good rounds in. He didn't hurt me, I think I showed him I was a world class fighter then. I've sparred a lot of top guys, from Carl Froch to Macklin himself. Go ask those guys what they thought about me and what level they think I'm on"
Grzegorz Proksa: "The guy hits like a hammer. I tried everything, but it did not work. You have to give him credit, because he had a good handle on the situation and it was an honor to meet him in the ring. Even though I lost every round, I wanted to fight on. There is no reason for us to have avoided fighting him - and I think today I fought not only the best fighter in my weight class, but perhaps even in the pound for pound rankings."
