I don't know why people think Jakes fights are rigged is it that difficult to believe he can pot-shot a 60yr old drug riddled Tyson or beating small, washed up MMA fighters who can't box?
The spectacle won't be over all because he fought in a football pitch size ring and ran away. His entire plan was merely to survive knowing he'd get credit if he survived a few rounds without getting his head sent into orbit. That's all he wanted and needed from it. And in fairness I get why he picked AJ because he can't cut a ring off and is a head-hunter so he can get low.
Another HW even if they couldn't cut a ring off would have just walked right through him.
Waltzed in with a high guard and ripped his body and had it done inside 2-3 rounds.
It was a stupid spectacle but really somewhat smart of him because the intrigue to see him vs a good level Cruiserweight for example is still there, maybe more so.
Dare I say a fight with Canelo is intriguing. Its somewhat similar to the AJ fight in terms he'll employ the same survival tactics, Canelo is smaller.
People will say he's no way near as big or as powerful as AJ and on the circus goes.
Hopefully in a couple days we won't hear that AJ's purse was cut in half because breaching the Jaw was breaching a clause...
But yeah, never thought AJ would sign for a rigged bout, and it looked mostly legit even though AJ wasn't really going for it, and when he did he made sure not to permanently damage that poor delusional guy... Maybe he regrets the last right hook which was probably 75% power ... Enough to end the big white hope's dream...
The prosperous idea of this actually being a real possibility would mean that everyone involved, Netflix included, would be under serious legal ramifications for match fixing, which is a federal crime.
In other words, you won't hear that because it's a galactically stupid and non sensical line of thinking.
My health is worth more to me than that.
I'm really not keen on taking right hand from Anthony Joshua and having my jaw broken in 2 places.
That's worth a vacation home in The Keys, at least.
I understand. Health is important if you got something to live for. To be honest alot of ppl now of days will un alive you for less than 5,000.
So it is a decent amount of money to some or people that dont value their life or current situation.
Astonished so many consider running and five or six lunges for the canvas "doing well."
Come on now Joe. You saw him land a few shots. Sure he was lunging and grabbing but the times when he misjudged that he tried to at least fight him off. This was no masterclass from AJ and for all of their talk....JP held up his end of the bargain more than AJ. If what happened was that AJ was supposed to show how a real professional heavyweight boxer fights...then he failed. Jake exhausted himself on nervous energy and it was nothing to do with AJs "work" that secured the stoppage.
You sound crazy. Even after medical and taxes. I still walk away with 100-180k racks. I would still keep my day job. I would pay off my debt, get another car, repair and build on my house. First punch he lands I am going down like Malik Scott.

There's videos on social media where a camera dude got up into Jake's jaw while they were still in the ring, he literally had half the side of his lower teeth shifted and separated from the front lower teeth. It's wild to see and rather gruesome. I think anyone who saw that video would immediately keep their mouth shut concerning the fight was fake or scripted in anyway.
I for one saw a completely legit fight, despite how bad it was. JP running and hoping AJ would tire out was part of his plan and unfortunately made the fight terrible to watch. Not to mention going down every single time. It was almost the nerves were too much facing AJ and JP just kept dropping as if it was a safe zone.
Well, he got paid well, so hopefully he's happy with the compensation despite the brutal injury.
I was todays old when I learned the chin is part of the jaw
Odd place for a break
The mandíbula is the part that comes up and down. In English it is called mandible, which is the lower jawbone in humans and other jawed vertebrates. It is the largest and strongest bone of the facial skeleton, essential for chewing and housing the lower teeth.
So when you see that RX you can see on the lower right side, after the canine and before the 1st premolar the first lesion and the second one seems to be in the oblique line part of the mandible between the Bucinator and Macetero , which I think are called Buccinator and Masseter In English.
Paul had his mouth open when he got hit. Thats a boxing no no and the result was brutal. Theres closeups of the inside of his mouth and you can see his back 4 teeth on the lower left side disconnected and tilted sideways.
It’s a brutal injury, even for boxers. If that punch had landed a few inches higher hes leaving the ring on a stretcher. Getting KOed like Nganou did looks worse, but this injury is worse than getting put ti sleep for a minute. You’re taking meals from a straw for weeks. Your jaw won’t be ready to take a punch for a year. Jake might have residual pain for life.
Mandibula: First injury is right after the canine, before the 1st premolar, second one seems to be right after the 3rd molar tooth.
Good luck healing in just a few days.... it will take some time.

Damn, interesting how he got a broken jaw from a fake fight, eh tinfoil hat people? How's that conspiracy theory working for you weirdos?

It was 3 minute rounds last night. I give Paul credit, he kwot getting uo because he knew the fans came ti see him get KOed and he delivered.
Ah, my bad. Thanks for the correction. If he continues with boxing Ngannou might be his next “obvious” choice for an opponent. Lol.
Medical bills are expensive. After taxes and whatnot, you may be left with next to nothing.

he did a lot better than the supposed full time professionals that joshua was knocking out early on his way to world level... hardly as if kevin johnson etc came out all guns blazing against joshua and he bombed them out early....
"Better" is subjective and comes with a lot of context. And even if it weren't (and he was), it still doesn't mean he turned in a good performance.
I would do it right now for 500k USD or English Sterling/ pounds.
I'd fight AJ for free except for a weekend with that black round card girl. Hell, throw in the blonde as well.
