Well I'm gonna have to go to this fight, shit it's not everyday that we get fights like this in Dallas. As much as I'm a Mayweather fan I'm a fan of the sport. I expect going down the stretch most of the tickets on sale are gonna get picked up. Coming off the All star weekend the D/FW Metroplex is gonna pack it to capacity.
Even though I would love to see Floyd knock that punk out I'm disappointed if this is true. I want to see Pac then Martinez and maybe a defense of the mw title to top it off. Is that asking too much lol? Now I'm not gonna lie I would probably buy the ****.
I dont even want to see Pac fight those guys because of all the cw bs. To be honest I can do without Pac facing Floyd because I think it would be easy work like the Marquez fight. I would rather see Floyd campain at 154 and takeout Canelo, Martinez, and whoever else at 54 that want to step up. If Pac doesnt want to move up stay at 47 & fight bradley, alexander, and the rest of the kids down there.

I just finished watching this fight. Chad Dawson didn't look like himself. I never saw Andre Ward hurting a guy so easily and badly in the last 4 years and I have never seen Chad Dawson GET HURT so easily and badly.
Do the math.
I don't wanna take anything away from Ward cause he is a very good technician but that wasn't the real Chad Dawson. We will never know how much the weight troubled Dawson cause he won't admit it, but to me Dawson looked DEAD AT THE WEIGHT. We also heard before the fight that Dawson got knocked out in sparring - something we also never heard before.
Let's be honest: When did Andre Ward knock out a top opponent?? - Froch, Abraham, Allan Green went all the distance. The Kessler-Ward fight was stopped cause of Ward's headbutts. And now you wanna tell me Ward can hurt a Light Heavyweight seemingly easily and bad like that??
Chad Dawson isn't known to have a bad chin.
As far as I'm concerned, this fight only would have done something for Ward's legacy if it would have happened at a catchweight or at light heavyweight.
Great win for Ward- yes. But a big big shadow stays.
If thats the case its his own fault. Dawson didnt have an answer for wards unrelenting style and the left hook/jab all night. Ward was truly a master in there and should move up in the p4p rankings Imo. From 160 to 175 hes got it on lock.

I give him a good shot to win those fights as well. The can man just needs to step it up.I agree....he's young and his handlers are moving him along not quite on the fast track. The next fight has to be a step up fight IMO.
Only the top guys like Mayweather, Cotto.... Its really hard to tell until he steps up. But looking at his skill set the boy is something special IMO.

I would pay for it. Great fight IMO, I think the kid is on a level that he is ready for the step up. For them to keep the fight as a PPV attraction he has to step up against elite competition.
Not surprised. I had a feeling something like this was going to happen. If you can weather the storm and get some punches in on him after the 6th round he seems like he gets discouraged and looks for a way out besides the Berto fight. To his credit this time he had a broken jaw and not everyone can fight through that.
That or how really bad Bute is. He looked like garbage in that fight, first time he stepped up to the elite level he gets treated like a red headed stepchild. Everyone knows how tough and skilled Andre is and how tough and powerful Froch is but Bute showed me he really aint ****.
I already donated but much respect to him for trying to help his people. I'm so sad for those people but it warms my heart to see everyone come together for a good cause.
...Mosley is indeed a proud fighter. but people should not let themseleves be fooled into thinking that he will not give away the fight in favor of mayweather, that he will earn more by winning the fight. on the contrary, he will earn more by accepting the fight and letting floydie win.
...bueno, this scripted drama is nearing its end...it is like a bad painting offered for bidding to avid floydie fans. so fuego!!!(trans:fire!!! shoot!!! ) let the bidding begin. going once....going twice....THIS FIGHT IS SOLD!!!.
...only fools will overlook these glaring facts of why this fight is a fraud!!!
1. no businessman in his right mind will let his own company lose by letting their biggest client, their biggest golden goose run away(with pun intended) and cluck...cluck his way to infamy. Mosley being part-owner of GBP has to always do everything to make his biggest client who is floydie constantly look good.being that mosley is a proud fighter, the fight choreography has to make him also look good!
2. Mosley by accepting this fight, will not only help enhance floydie's myth above 140 lbs.(again, with pun intended) he will also earn a big retirement paycheck (he will turn 39 yrs of age this Sept), a paycheck that he deserves being one of the best fighters.
3. Mosley, on top of his fight purse will still earn from GBP's share of the proceeds from promoting floydie's fight.
4.Mosley, by participating in a choreographed fight will make everybody look good. he will not only protect floydie his client, himself, and GBP but will also set-up another choreographed fight (okay this is no longer a fact)
floydie and GBP will rely on the fact that it is technically difficult to prove a well-choreographed fight to be a fraud.LMAO!!!! This gets better and better everyday.....now Mosley is going to throw the fight. PRICELESS!! I need to sig this shit.
:lol1: don't pay the haters no mind my man.....it costs nothing!!!......but to be honest, his post cracked me up as well :lol1:Of all people Mosley is going to throw a fight!! That just shows how much respect he has for Mosley accomplishments. That just also shows that some people hate a boxer more than they love the sport.
