I have nothing better to do than to look up ticket's on TM, I have'nt a life in years, term me a looser if you will.
But the numbers I concluded seem rather odd for seating set up at 40k supposedly being 75% sold out.
For all ticket price ranges, except $50, you can acquire 20 seats or more, beginning from seat 1 through seat 20.

Truth is, Floyd fans WANT Pacquiao/Clottey to fail. They don't give a fukk about the sport. They just want to be able to come on to the forum, talk shit about how amazing Floyd is in every aspect of life and then be out. These faqqots don't watch boxing. Did the lil girls who worshiped N Sync or Backstreet boys listen to other music? Did they buy other albums? of course not. This is the mentality and immaturity that we're dealing with her. Bunch of fukkin groupies.
Truth is its going to do well but not great
its a great venue but only for a big match and this isnt it
I think Im gonna get some of the fellas together and order it just to see an event like a boxing match in my boys stadium
Only beef I have is that Arum seems like he is doing a horrible job promoting this fight. I dunno why. I mean I haven't heard anything about it on radio sports shows espn or anything. And its two weeks away.
I dont
I want it to be a huge success
I want Cowboy stadium to be a great venue to support boxing
I want this to be a great gate and great PPV sales
this sport needs success and us as fans should realize that over biases and loyalties yet sadly we shoot ourselves in the foot
true boxing fans who can afford to go should
true boxing fans who can afford to watch should
no one should be shitting on either card
yet sadly we will
Everything he said...
REAL Boxing fans aren't throwing down either card. The thing too is some of you guys don't realize that having a fight in a place like Cowboys Stadium brings attention from outside the Boxing world. If the card becomes a success, how does it hurt the sport...because the under card didn't meet your standards? The reality is Boxing can't have a Triple Main Event, and a lot of people who do complain about the under cards cant put together an under card that makes sense as far as the payout for the event and what the Boxers or managers will demand as far as payouts.
Easier said than done...

I got nothing against the event, but i think the choice of venue for a fight that wont have that many fans going to see it live was wrong.
Here's the irony...
There'll be technically more people at Pac vs Clottey fight than Mosley vs Mayweather. Even if Pac vs Clottey only sold 25k tickets, that's still about 7k more than MGM can seat to capacity.
Not saying it to you, but I don't see how people will automatically call this a failure...
no he didnt you idiot, many people thought Mosley won that fight but Cotto got a MSG gift.
Cotto won that fight.
Juan Diaz getting a win over Malignaggi in Texas = Merry Xmas Juan

I hope it fails not cause I'm a Floyd fan. But cause the shitty undercard n arum is a scumbag
But the thing is, what under cards do people want? As much as people on here hate on the UFC (not saying you directly), they fancy the idea of having 2-3 Big fights on one card (which is a normality in the UFC).
I remember asking someone here about what undercard to make for a Boxing match and in Boxing terms it would've been a $200,000,000.00 purse just to get the fight sanctioned lol. Don't blame the promoters fully, the fighters also have to agree or disagree to take a fight.
Mayweather may have the better sales but it still doesn't change the fact that his best win at welterweight is Baldomir(a journeyman).
He is now facing a Mosley that is almost 40 and was taken to the limit by Mayorga.
I mean sure Mosley beat a plaster-less Margarito but thats not really an accomplishment.
The fact is Mayweather may sell more but he is an insecure man that ducked every meaningful opponent at welterweight: Cotto, Williams, a younger Mosley...hell he didn't even face Berto...no, no, he decides his comeback fight should be with a fighter 2 weightclasses below his own.
135 and below Mayweather is a great fighter...above that he is a fraud.
:gives: The fights are the only thing that matters. I don't get the fascination ppl on here have wit other men's money, ticket sales, PPV buys, etc. Shit is suspect.
flomos are not concern for the fight, they are more concern of how big money floyd can get, what's the split floyd can get, floyd's drug test demand should be followed, etc..
Well I'm gonna have to go to this fight, shit it's not everyday that we get fights like this in Dallas. As much as I'm a Mayweather fan I'm a fan of the sport. I expect going down the stretch most of the tickets on sale are gonna get picked up. Coming off the All star weekend the D/FW Metroplex is gonna pack it to capacity.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: daaaayyyyuuummmm
I am a boxing fan and I will watch any good fights on PPV. Don't care about the money, its only money. I can always make money whenever I wanted to. I am not going to deprive myself of watching any good fights, specially Pac and PBF fights.
Thats true and you can bet Arum and Jones will fill it regardless of how many people actually pay for the tickets. But to say 75% of seats are "sold out" when they statistically are not is just a plain fat lie.
wow you really believe that? that pacquiao is a stinker?... Bob Arum and Jones will just give away their tickets just to what? hype up Pacquiao?... i don't get why you're trying to speculate that they are lying... really man why?
I'll buy both pacs and floyd bouts.. because they are both great fights...
