Why dont GBP make Cotto vs Canelo ?

Because only 14 posters want to see it. Imagine how many casual fans want to see it?

Let this KID prove his thing, he wants the cotto fight, let alone the floyd fight.. If he beats cotto then Floyd-canelo next year.. cotto is a good fight for him if he wants to be great, GBP cant baby that kid forever.. Cotto, though not as dangerous before, would still kick ass but has lose some of hiself now.. Canelo if you believe your time has come push for it.

I would pay for it. Great fight IMO, I think the kid is on a level that he is ready for the step up. For them to keep the fight as a PPV attraction he has to step up against elite competition.

I think Canelo can take Cotto at this point but GBP wants to build Canelo's name a bit more before letting him step up against a really high caliber fighter. How is Cotto a step up? Cotto at this point is too much for Canelo and GBP still want to build Canelo up to be a PPV draw in the USA. At this point Cotto would eat him alive and get more than 60% of the ppv money while doing it.

Canelo-Quintana or Canelo-K9. That is what I'm thinking they will do. Golden Boy should do Josesito Lopez vs. the winner of Guerrero-Aydin. Seriously wouldn't that fight be great.

Cotto or Lara, I wouldn't mind Molina or Martisoyan either but I doubt they get the fight, if Trout or anybody else gets the fight, I would be really really upset at Golden Boy.

Cotto is beyond the level of which GBP want Canelo to face. I do believe Cotto-Canelo is in their radar but it was suppose to be after Canelo-Williams, Kirkland or Ortiz.

Let the kid step up because cotto exposes canelo, and whoops his ass. Canelo is overrated as hell and thats an understatement.

maybe now. they were set on canelo fighting in september. now they certainly won't go up against martinez/chavez.

big risk of killing their potential cash cow. canelo still green to be in there with cotto.
