At 154lbs. I see that Lara is a real good fighter and could perhaps beat him I think. I also think that Trout may be able to beat Canelo. Depends on Trout's endurance and how discipline he fought the fight.

Do I really need to clarify myself? -_- Or you just giving me a hard time?

He's the best. And when they finally do put him in there with Mayweather, he's going to beat him. Canelo started off over hyped, got his title easy, but he has grown into a solid champion and is only getting better and better. He's the real deal.
Carson Jones would provide a stiff test and would test Ricky's endurance/stamina. A good fight to make tbh. Then he could fight Paulie afterwards if he wins.
Anyone who fights smart and is big/durable enough to handle the rough patches where canelo will go all out...think how Alfonso Gomez was getting rounds versus Canelo......exploiting his lack of intensity and overly patient style...Id say Lara-Molina-Trout have a shot at doing this...
Also someone who can set a high pace and exploit Canelo's laziness early on...but again, has to be very durable to withstand the moments where canelo explodes back(canelo wastes a lot of energy when he does this...thats why he fights in spurts).....this is why the Williams fight wouldve been such a bad matchup for canelo.
Think of how people have been able to beat Arthur Abraham....another fighter who can ice you with one shot, or wear you down with decent punches.....but his style is exploitable.

Since the Baldomir KO people been praising his power, Im not buying it just yet. Not till he can show me he can hurt a real JMW. You can look at it this way, Pacquiao dropped and hurt Mosley. Canelo hurt him but with a shot to the body but couldnt drop him tho. He (Canelo) also got tagged quite a lot. Is Canelo's power legit? Like I said, so many question marks about this dude that its near impossible to pick him over any JMW.

I don't think he should fight Angulo JUST yet. Fight K9, then Quintana, then Angulo. If he gets past those three, he's in a very good position. He'd have the IBF belt with 2 decent defenses and his fanbase will have probably grown as well. Instead of Indio, he could fight Molina. K9/Molina/Angulo is a solid stretch of opposition, especially if he wins them all.
He can definitely Quintana but remember K9 might be fighting Berto and Berto would be a very tough match up for Rosado IMO.

at this point Canelo also beats cotto in a war!
yeah I Forgot about Cotto...I would give Canelo a strong change against Cotto just like I am giving Trout a strong chance against Cotto
I'm not convinced that he rolls through Rosado, 50-50 for me. The only guy with similar attributes he's fought was a faded/mentally-beaten Cintron. Rosado won't be nearly as reluctant to let his hands go, and is gonna be coming in the ring to win. Rosado also doesn't fade down the stretch and brings a great amount of intensity. He can get reckless, but when he boxes behind a jab and looks to set up his offense, he becomes very difficult to deal with because of his height/reach. Not too many tall/lanky guys can fight on the inside as well as he can either. Threat from the outside and inside, tough puzzle to solve.
Not saying he "Rolls" Rosado at all, in fact I would give Rosado a legit Chance if they was to fight, not doubt about that...but in saying that I do think Canelo can walk him down and hurt him like Angulo did

Gambler thinks Canelo beats Rosado but I dont think it happens. If Canelo fights Rosado in December that'd be a huge jump in competition AND size where I would not be favoring Canelo.

Rosado has come a long way. When he got reckless, he absorbed two hellacious shots that probably would've dropped him earlier in his career. Rosado is an example of how early career set-backs can make a fighter better. Above all, what I like about Rosado is that he's a thinking fighter. When something isn't working, he'll switch it up and try something else. He'll change his guard, he'll pressure, he'll fight behind his long jab, he'll try to counter, etc. He also has very good foot-work/torso movement for a guy his height, good athleticism. He also has a killer instinct. When you add the fact that he seems to absorb punishment better than before, I think he has the qualities to become a top fighter.

What war? Canelo is very untested and fights real composed in there. And from the Lopez fight you could he does not like someone pressuring him and hitting him. Im "ok" if you say Canelo beats Cotto but dont talk about no fkin war when the guy is untested as this dude. And if you go by the Jose Cotto fight where Canelo got rocked, Id say the last thing he wants is a war with ANYBODY.

Cant believe people actually favor vanes over Canelo lol. anyways to answer the question. Lara and Mayweather would be the ones to beat canelo. Get outta here with Trout and vanes winning over canelo they wouled get mauled by the cinnoman stick. War canelo!

Now for the Bad News, guys who I don't think he has a chance against at the moment: Mayweather (OF COURSE), Erislandy Lara, Austin Trout, Carlos Molina...I think Carlos Quintana would give him MAJOR PROBLEMS with his style as well!
But the only way to find out is if Canelo finally start fighting these guys!

You do know that after Molina man-handled Cintron he fought the woof woof guy on espn & struggled immensely right?? The coincidentally right after that he got slated for ginger.
Yeah, he fought Antwone Smith, who did pretty well last night against Cruz.
canelo is definitely beatable. it all depends on who he gets in the ring against. he doesnt look like he would dominate the whole weight class tho. i dont get that vibe from him.
