Conor is 29 years old right now, and when Floyd was 29 he fought De la Hoya. So at 29, Conor is doing more than Floyd. But I don't think he's going to sustain and maintain that level of success. MMA fighters usually have a short reign of success. Can Conor maintain his position for 10 more years? I think the correct answer is it's possible but not likely.

Me personally, I think he does. I'm sure there will be people who will focus solely on Rodney Sholly, but he has a list of impressive names on his resume. Shawn Porter has impressive names as well, but he's only won against Broner.

I think if Danny was truly ducking, he wouldn't have moved up to 147. I think he went up there knowing that at some point he will have to fight the Thurmans and Porters and Brooks. It's inevitable. He fought Malignaggi his first fight at the division. People pretend that they don't understand that Malignaggi is a gatekeeper and Danny, for his first introductory fight into the division, fought just that. A gatekeeper. That makes sense to me. First fight. Gatekeeper. Then he moved on to a little tougher competition Guerrero. Isn't this how it works? In school, don't we start with the 101 courses, then move up to 210 220 or whatever? Now don't get me wrong, I know how the pattern works and I know how boxing works. I'm not dumb fan. Danny will not be fighting killers after killers just like anyone else. That's too much wear and tear on the body. He will fight some soft touches. The thing I like about Danny is his vulnerabilities. He struggles against soft touches as well as killers. But he always finds a way to win. Will his next fight be against Thurman vs Porter winner?? Hopefully. But all I know is that Danny didn't move up to 147 thinking he will never cross paths with these killers. If he moved up to a stacked division, trust me, he knows he's eventually going to fight these guys.

I know he's a competitor, you can see it in his fights. I'm sure he wants to be mentioned in the welterweight talks right now. He needs to get in some of this PBC action. He's doing rematches, Jessie Vargas's and Brandon Rios over there. He puts on a smile at TR, but I know it's got to be killing him inside to know he can't fight none of these killers. With Bradley over there, they could have a welterweight tournament going on right now.

Every time they lose its always because "they were running", and therefore they feel like the won? Come on, you guys are professionals. They should expect that they aren't going to fight one style all the time. In fact, boxing was never meant to be about one style. Are they mad at Danny because he made adjustments? That he was not the come forward fighter that he was in his previous fights? That fighters can in fact be versatile and be multidimensional? Shouldn't they prepare for those kind of fighters? Learn to cut the ring? What's going to happen if they go up against Kell Brooks in the future? We already know who is going to be the aggressor and whose going to be the counter puncher in that fight. They're going to claim that they're the aggressor and say they automatically win? The f*ck? I love Mexican fighters, but damn. They're too much on that mentality.

I don't get it. It's Rios. I understand that it was a knockout which Tim rarely gets. But it's Rios. He can make everyone look spectacular. That's his purpose. He is officially that guy. If Pac gets knocked out against Marquez then put him in there against Rios in the next fight. He'll be back to being the devastating whirlwind Pacquiao. I'm just saying, out of everyone Bradley defeated, from Devon Alexander, to Lamont Peterson, to even Marquez, everyone hyped Bradley over defeating Rios? Weird.

For me personally, Pac vs Bradley 3 is one of those fights I just don't care about. I don't care which one of them wins. If Bradley wins, whatever. Pac's retiring. I'm sure the motivation isn't there for Pac. If Pac wins, whatever. It happened twice already. The intrigue isn't there anymore. Hell, I wasn't even excited for the second fight.

Cotto's loss... Margarito (plaster) Pacquiao Mayweather Canelo Trout (even though this wasn't really a big fight) Oscar's loss... Trinidad Mosley 2x Hopkins Mayweather Pacquiao Me personally, I think the loss in big fights were better for Oscar. Just because he had Hopkins and Trinidad in there. But at the same time, we can say Canelo was Cotto's Trinidad. Oscar did better against Floyd than Cotto did, but Cotto did better than Oscar against Pacquiao. I think the only thing that ruins it for Cotto is Trout. So I'm going to say Oscar had the better loss.

Me personally, I think Guerrero is a good match up. (It doesn't hurt that theres the whole Ruben vs Angel thing either). I'm happy that they are not throwing Danny in there into the welterweight division, and instead they are blending him into the welterweight. We don't even know how good Danny is in welterweight division. So how can Guerrero be a bad match up? People think Danny should be fighting Kell Brooks, Thurman or Porter (even though they both have fights with each other), but these established welterweights aren't fighting each other as well. How are people expecting Danny who isn't really established as a welterweight to do what these other welterweights aren't even doing? It's the Puerto-Rican American vs the Mexican American. ***** I'd pay just to see Ruben vs Angel in the build up.

I was watching this fight, and Cotto was landing some punches, but HBO commentary ignored it while highlighting everything Canelo did. Even when the punches landed on Cotto's gloves, they still acted like it hit. Of course the between rounds replay was showcasing Canelo's punches. I mean, if I'm wrong tell me I'm lying. Those in between replays they were almost all Canelo, right? I'm not lying right? I get it, they're trying to make Canelo the new face of boxing. But they did Cotto wrong last night.

What fight would you rather see? I feel like Golovkin is kind of stuck in the middle of weights. He's a middleweight, but Cotto wants to fight him at a catchweight, DLH doesn't want to put Canelo in there with him yet. Ward is moving up to light heavyweight. Everything seems to be about timing. And I feel like there are some time limits to consider. It seems like if Golovkin wants to fight everyone, he needs to start with Andre Ward, since its pretty much done deal that he's going up to light heavyweight. Maybe his injury can stall the transition. So it looks like he can only fight either Cotto/Canelo winner or Andre Ward. If it was up to you, who would you rather have him fight? I'm satisfied with either or. I'm at the point of get what you can get. Whichever opportunity presents itself first, go for it.

Is the winner of GGG vs Lemiuex and Cotto vs Canelo really fighting each other? Or is that what everyone is assuming/hoping?

I'm watching interviews of Freddie Roach, and it seems like his first concern is excitement. Shouldn't that be the promoter's job? He sounds like a fan rather than a trainer. His first concern should be to get his fighter to victory. I've never seen a trainer train a fighter to be exciting.

Anyone else think 2015 was probably one of the best year for boxing? Thurman vs Guerrero Broner vs Porter Garcia vs Malignaggi (For me personally. As a Philly native, I enjoy the Philly vs Brooklyn fights) Kovalev vs Pascal Figueroa vs Burns Matthysse vs Provoknikov Canelo vs Kirkland Mayweather vs Pacquiao (Finally some closure) And we still have the second half of 2015 coming up with... Klitschko vs Fury GGG vs Lemieux Santa Cruz vs Mares And of course the big one... Cotto vs Canelo Not to mention PBC. Free boxing!

They literally filmed the weigh in on Friday before the fight and aired the 24/7 episode the next day. They should go back to that. Even though it would be more hectic schedule.

Let's say it was a close fight. Who exactly would announce the winner? I mean, the suspense has to still be there and we can't have Buffer read out scorecard if Pac wins and Lennon read out scorecards when Floyd wins.

I feel like this is one of the primary duties of a trainer. To look out for their fighter's safety. Has Freddie Roach ever stopped a fight their fighters couldn't win?

I agree with Zab Judah here. At a certain point, you have to ask, what the f*ck is Freddie's problem? Why does he talk sh*t on everyone? Some people aren't going to be sensitive to that Parkinson's disease and eventually, Freddie is going to mess with the wrong one. For his own sake, he needs to stop. You can't talk all that nonsense and act surprised when someone kicks the sh*t out of you.

Can you guys see GGG losing once he steps up his competition? I remember when Mike Tyson was considered a monster knocking out tomato cans left and right, which is something I see from GGG right now. But Tyson didn't look like the monster that he was portrayed as when he stepped up comp. Although GGG isn't going through the personal problems Tyson was going through, I do believe that GGG can suffer the same fate once he steps up his comp.

I hear Pacquiao camp brought in Rigo as a sparring partner which I find weird that he brought in a southpaw. I'm going to try and find a source real quick. But I just heard the news on facebook.

I remember when Robert Guerrero and his team thought Floyd legs were shot (after watching Cotto fight) and devised their whole game plan on that notion and thought some toe to toe sh*t. Turned out Floyd legs were perfectly fine in the fight. Do you think Roach is making the same mistake?

A week after the announcement, and I gotta say, it is quiet as f*ck around here. I go to school, nobody is talking about it. People at my job don't watch boxing like that. But I thought at least they know about Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Where are the festivities? I thought I would be arguing with a lot of people right now on who would win.

Is this one of those things where people are going to be like "It's Mayweather vs Pacquiao. It doesn't need a good undercard" type sh*t? Because I'm not going to lie, I expected this fight to be an "event." I mean, theres not going to be a 24/7 or All Access. I don't know about undercards, but if the undercards are crap, the only events are a few press conference (which will be awesome with Freddie and Floyd sr), the weigh in and the actual fight. So...not really an event.

Because I know they were supposed to fight May 2nd, but let's be honest. They're not going to win over Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Do you think maybe they knew as much as us that the fight would probably happen and decide to say f*ck it, let them have this date. We'll at least take September from Floyd since after Pacquiao no matter who Mayweather fights, it won't beat Canelo vs Cotto. (Unless it's the Pac rematch) So what I'm saying is, do you think their goal isn't to take May 2nd from Floyd, but maybe September?

I don't really like listening to these two talk about boxing. But I did want to see this one.
